It is a given we have a Michi separation and a four year leap on the cards. Yesterday they took us one more step towards it when they showed us a dead body and Milsi looking confused. Now many, if not all, here, are of the view that it would be better for Milsi to believe she is alive than dead and that she does not play anybody's widow or wife. If that should be the case, then why introduce a new family where the woman has a similar sounding name and a baby to boot? Why have this bomb blast?
I feel the reason they have introduced this bomb blast is to create a smoke screen for Prachi's disappearance. If they had wanted Milsi to believe she is alive, they could have just ensured that Milsi does not reach the next station on time. Prachi realising that Milsi knows which train she boarded could have got off the next station only to get into some other train bound for another destination. Why go to the extreme of having a bomb blast? They wanted to kill that girl and let Prachi take her identity and her child as well.
Now if Milsi thinks Prachi is alive, would he be more at peace?
I don't think so. I think he will lead a more miserable existence wondering about all the troubles Prachi would be going through in his absence for he knows that the girl loves him as much as he does. He will be more desperate and frustrated in his inability to find her. With all the resources at his disposal if he could not track down a woman for four years, it also does not say much about his abilities. Granted that this is a huge country, but still we are talking about a guy who became a millionaire in less than a year. So nothing should be impossible for him.
If on the other hand, if he believes she is dead, then he will atleast assure himself that she is not suffering any longer, although he himself will be inconsolable. When you love someone as much as Michi do each other, it is more the happiness of the other that counts. Milsi knows Prachi left him, thinking it is for his own good and she herself is going to be heartbroken. Knowing that, he would not be able to rest a single day of the four years. Moreover, it will also explain why he could not find her for four years because he did not know she still existed. So assuming that Prachi is dead does not in any way take anything out of his character.
What is more important is how they will show his handling this situation if he presumes her dead. One major fear is that he may hit the bottle. Now that is something nobody wants to see but he can also hit the bottle if he thinks Prachi is alive but he is not able to track her down for years. The frustration can get to him as well. Instead I would rather see him respecting her memories and staying away from alchohol as that is what she would have wanted him to do.
Now does that mean he would move on in life? In either cases he will not be able to move on in life. But atleast in the latter case he will not additionally torture himself that Prachi is suffering. I think that would kill him more. Most likely PPP will be out of the picture post leap because Milsi is not going to take things lying down especially if he thinks Prachi is dead because of her. He will become totally addicted to his work to get his mind off memories of Prachi (which ofcourse he will not be able to, given that she is his life), till he meets her again after the leap, most probably through his daughter.
