Thanks JC for the critical comments. You will have to give me some allowance for those 'literal' scenes. I have not seen the movie and went by the words, not knowing the context in which they were said. Guess that's a risk that novices like me (in both the language as well as making mixes) have to take. In fact I cut that bedroom scenes only to put in the scene of Milsi carrying Prachi!
I know akka...so i'll let it pass.😊 a star for your efforts⭐️
⭐️I know which scene you are referring to regarding the mismatch in speed. I had to edit that dance so much to keep PPP out it was difficult to match every scene with the speed of the song. Oh that worm putting her head in between that beautiful dance...ok understand.
Dot you think that was master stroke to put in that scene for "urdu" , "farsi". Atleast I did not go literal there and show Milsi in the darga! I was initially foxed then remembered that scene at their balcony.
completely...i couldn't stop laughing...it was brilliant.😆
Yes, I had to do some editig in the nursetry scene to get out the flashback scenes. Thanks for noticing and appreciating.
I noticed because i know just how difficult it is to edit that scn...have tried to several times...and never was satisfied with what i did...so i noticed it immediately.
I was not sure what to use for the ending. Glad you liked what I chose. The reason why the scene seems to prolong after the music apparently has stop was because in my mixer, the audio indicator was still on. So I stretched the scene till it disappeared. I thought since my power of hearing is not really that great maybe there was some very low music still coming.
lolz..😆 no comments.
Considering that you gave me such a detailed commentary on this one shows your interest in my work. I hope it is also because you liked it. It is only if one likes something enough that the smaller mistakes come to light as one is satisfied with the overall impact. (Now that is how I will interpret it!)
Actually i did like the mix a lot...inspite the fact that i don't like the songs of Guru so much (and its pretty shocking considering that i love all ARR songs)...I only liked Maiyya Maiyya. Aye Hairate i liked but not loved it...so when i got the request to make a mix on the song..i was a bit if-y. When i saw yours obviously i was curious to see what you did with it...😃 So i noticed the smallest things...i was watching very intently. And once again it was proved that the songs i don't like...when played on Michi...suddenly become lovable...so now Aye Hairate is in my ipod. Thanx akka. It was really a good mix and in my opinion the better of the three you made.
Your comments are very useful in making an improvement in my mixes. Thanks again. I still remember my first mix and how i felt making it and recieving comments...and back then i too got some very valuable feedback...and thats the only thing that helped me improve. Thats why i like the honesty in ppl when they comment, be it mixes or FFs. I believe that self-confidence builds when you get better at doing something and constructive criticism is the way to get there.
I am half way into my hugs mix. Still looking out for some scenes. Do you have a better version of the waterfall hug? The one in the Michi Haven appears too blurred. I am also looking out for the hug after Ayesha's death. Will post the mix today if I get the scenes and finish the rest.
