My theory on why NEESHA never moved on

I have often wondered why MICHI could find true love in each other, while NEESHA were content living in the past

Just yesterday, I realized that NEESHA could never move on because both were well-aware that they were each solely responsible for ruining what could have been a beautiful relationship with their childhood loves. If not for themselves, N could have married P, and Ayesha would have lived with Milind. But, no, they took one wrong step, which shattered their respective relationships. Neither of them could digest it, and hence they never even considered moving on. One wallowed in self-pity, while the other turned obsessed.
Neev lost Prachi because of his own distrust. How could a man who loved this gal for twenty whole years, who claimed to understand her inside out, who claimed to be her one true confidant EVER accept that she could leave him for money? Initially, Neev refused to move on because he had almost lost faith in love after her supposed betrayal. But, later, when he did learn the truth, the guilt KILLED him, and he therefore spent more time helping out someone else's wife than actually concentrating on rebuilding his own life. His heart cried because Prachi was not his, but he accepted that as his punishment for not trusting the sweet angel. In other words, he felt that he had no RIGHT to move on because he had failed the test of faith! How can he ever consider another woman then? He firmly believed that he deserved to suffer alone all his life for that one blunder
Ayesha let go of Milind because she was blinded by her hatred for the Shah family. In her quest for revenge, she ignored her love, married N just to torture P, and didn't realize until it was too late that she was actually ruining her own life. Unlike Neev though, she didn't just let MICHI be, but instead became obsessed with snatching MIlind because, unlike N who wrongly assumed that P hated him, A truly believed that M loved HER, and in fact M too almost spurred her on by getting close to her several times after marrying Prachi (until he realized P's goodness and decided to make her part of his life). His marital status meant nothing to her, and this was seen in the scene the morning after Neev's cliff confession, when Ayesha lies to Milind about spending the night together. While walking back towards her room, she thought, "Prachi Bhale Ki Milind Ki Patni Ho, Lekin Pyar Vo Mujhse Karta Hai!" That was her underlying mantra - Milind wanted to be mine, and so he will, by hook or crook! How can she even think of another man when she has a chance to get back the man who loved her?
On the contrary, MICHI had no guilty conscience, and therefore willfully decided to look ahead and seek love in their spouse

Kitty, I agree with the Neev part but not the Ayesha part. I dont think she felt guilty for ditching Milsi. She happily heaped that blame too on Prachi. I fact I annot forget what she said to Neev on Suki's wedding after she trapped NP together and made Milsiwitness it. She said I will give up Milsi but will not let him be with anyone else". This shows than more than regret for leaving Milsi for no fault of his she was interested more in keeping him away from anybody who can love him. She never apologised for any of her acts till her dying day and I dont think felt any remorse for them.

Opti, she never felt guilty, but she could never let him go either. She is smart enough to realize her folly, but later became more obsessed with snatching Prachi's husband than actually loving Milind!
Ayesha never loved Milsi half as much as Prachi, but she couldn't get past the fact that her revenge saga forced Milsi to get away...she couldn't accept that he could love someone else, when he was always behind her before!

I think Neesha could have found their soulmate in the other had they given each other the chance... but because of Neevs inability to get over Prachi which wasn't helped at all by Ayesha's obsession with Prachi's Milind, they couldn't move on... though I think Neev is being a bit too hard on himself with feeling guilty over losing Prachi...
But I've a small disagreement with you over here kits... I know this is not a popular view... but I feel Prachi was as much to blame for Neevs distrust in P as Neev himself... she did deliberately mislead him after all...
This is the same way how I saw Neev is as much at fault at Prachi's distrust of him right after the PA track when she came to the conclusion that Neev was the murderer... Neev also mislead her after all... Thats why I never complained about Prachi like the others, coz I honestly thought it was an error of judgement
In the same way, I think what Neev did was an error of judgement, the only reason people are sometimes more sympathetic of Neev was because his error of judgement lead to disastrous consequences for him... but I think he has moved on now... as suggested by the PA track when he had the chance to marry Prachi but didn't...
I think Neev really deserves a life with love and happiness and should not be robbed out of it or bogged down with guilt because of his one error of judgement. Anyways if they do decide to start a Neev-Sonia track.. Im pretty sure I can get him to get over Prachi.. 😆😆😳

^ True, and I think Prachi felt horrrible for suspecting Neev....but Neev's distrust had horrible repurcussions, and hence he feels extremely guilty
Oh, btw, I need to add the hospital scene to my list of fav Panchi performances!

Ooh yeah, she was gooood in that one... Actually the first time I never concentrated coz I was just anxious to see if Neev was alive or dead but then I watched a repeat of the episode and she acted great... Panchi is brilliant in these emotional scenes.. compared to before and to now..😃
