First off, you have a way with words, Munee, and I just can't help but get absorbed into them every time!!!!!
Back to Prachi, you have, obviously, raised some very valid points. As her fan, I have resolutely believed that she is an extremely strong girl who never had a chance to make her own decisions before her dad's death. She was the much-loved, yet pampered child, who was 'expected' to follow the guidance of others. Neev was the only person she could be 'herself' with, but then again, she never took a step without his support
After getting married to Milind, one could witness her silent fortitude at various occasions
Her dad's death and NA's marriage suddenly left her totally alone in this big bad world. To make matters worse, her husband detested her very sight, and left no stones unturned to humiliate her! Nonetheless, she absorbed every hatred and every distance, dutifully performing her tasks, until Milind finally realized her innate goodness. Any other woman in her shoes would have either committed suicide or turned stone-hearted, but she remained strong and compassionate throughout. .
Further, I could sense Prachi's possessiveness the minute she decided to accept Milind wholeheartedly.
Let's jump back to the morning after M heard N confess his feelings on the cliff, when Ayesha tried making Prachi jealous by harping on and on about losing her 'earrings' in that room, implying that she had slept with Milind. A calm Prachi simply looked at her and subtly rebuked, "Sahi Cheez Ke Liye Sahi Jagah Faisla Karne Se Pehle Ye Janna Zaroori Hai Ki Sahi Kya Hai, Kyunki Agar Jagah Sahi Hai Aur Cheez Hi Galat To Us Cheez Ko Us Jagah Se Hata Dena Hi Behtar Hai", leaving Ayesha shocked and bewildered
At that time, P didn't even have a clue about M's blossoming feelings, but she nonetheless made it very clear to A that she no longer has a place in his life!!!!!
Later, when Milind almost spitted on her character/personality before their consummation, she simply snapped!!!!!!!! Her outburst opened Milind's eyes, and their relationship took a more beautiful turn.
This proved that although Prachi hardly vocalizes her thoughts, she can only be pushed to a certain limit. She tolerated his nonchalance, tolerated his anger, but she couldn't tolerate his frequent and mindless accusations!!!!!
Then came the HIGHLY controversial PIM! HEr intentions were indeed good, as always, but her actions were frowned upon by many. People wondered why she needed to take extreme measures to protect someone else's secret, while killing her own marriage and breaking her husband's heart. Very valid points, but her decision to conceal the truth at the cost of her own marriage only underlined her mental strength yet again...!!!
MOREOVER, when Sukruti made Prachi realize that she will no longer be 'Mrs Mishra' if the divorce went through, my doll broke down and decided to talk to Milind. Until then, she didn't spare much thought to our own failing relationship, mainly because of her faith in the institution of love and marriage, but was only concerned about Sukruti. When it was, however, driven into her that hiding the truth any longer would irrevocably shatter her partnership, she immediately confronted Milsi, because she can bear any repurcussion, but the one that distances her from her darling. HEr only dream is to be Mrs Mishra; her only dream is to breathe in his arms; her only dream is to be loved by Milind. But since she is still the selfless Prachi who will never put anyone down to further her own desires, she continued to keep Sukruti out of the mess, instead dragging Milsi to court, hoping that he would reconsider his decision at least then
In the court, when his lawyer spewed venom on her family, especially her father, my doll couldn't take it anymore, and staunchly defended him. The truth is Prachi is protective about her relationships and her loved ones, and won't ever endure ANYONE trying to defame them
Let's move ahead to the PA track. Once again, A tried throwing her out, but P stood rock-steady, maintaining that as long as she was M's wife, no one can ever try pushing her away from him!
Hence, P has ALWAYS been very clear that she wants to live with and for Milind
After all that rambling, Munee, let me answer your question. NO, Prachi will not accept defeat in love. Yes, she will have her moments of weakness, but she loves M, is possessive about M, and will most definitely not let some maniac steal him away! Most importantly, she will never deprive her baby of his/her father, and will at least stand by M and fight for him for her little one (although I am slightly worried about the fact that she hasn't yet told him)
If she can weather Hurricane Ayesha, Mallika is a nobody!
