Why is sandhya able to enter the temple?

Hello everyone, i just started watching this serial, watched one and half of second episode, i had a doubt, how come sandhya so easily went to the temple and she didn't seem affected by the spirits as well, she missed all their attacks whereas other girls are not able to reach it and also troubled by spirits? Has there been any explanation regarding this? Is it because of the locket, or is something special about her or the fact that she was too engrossed in searching for her friend that she didn't give much attention to other things??

It was the her locket that was protecting her from everything and she was unable to see anything until the locket fell and she saw them and touched the stairs of the temple/mandir and you know the rest...

About her being special in any other way, she is a FL of an Indian horror show, so...

it was sandhya's locket that was protecting her....at first she only feel it through her 6th sense but its only after her locket fell...she saw everything....

regards sandhya being special,well you never know she might be the special one to destroy the evil
