Malini blackmailed/manipulated Adi completely here. She is blind and unable to see the injustice served to Bansal family and innocent kids. She tried everything possible to stop Adi from revealing the truth to Kavya..

Its not like Adi's trust in their love is weak. If it was true, then he would have been silent. He knows he is not involved and he trusts Kavya that she will understand and will not go against him. That's why he is attempting to reveal the truth to her repeatedly, but being interrupted by Malini..

He knows he may loose Kavya if he hides (thats his guilt), because she will find the truth as she is working on the case and she will find out he hid from her. But, being silent he may save his mother. Understand that, besides/before Kavya, Malini is the only other person who he believed to be good/not like his father/brother or trusted the most..

It was soo easy for Malini to tell Navya is dead, she cannot come back whereas Omi is alive n to spare him. But what about Kavya's family who are waiting for justice of their daughter n to get that Justice Kavya became an IAS officer.

This is all emotional threats used by family members to indirectly threaten and get their work done. Adi who has sworn on his wedding day that no truth will be hidden between them, has to take stance and stand by their vow than losing his Kavya. He shud listen to his instincts n his inner voice 1st, stand by his words.

Rest is in Kavya's hands. For sure she will pardon Omi, coz she too is part of the family. But atleast they get to know the culprit

Already evidences have been trampled I feel the one's on Adi's phone are the evidences left. Malini I don't think is aware where the evidences are kept but she will try her level best to stop Adi from telling the truth
