Adi just needs to understand he have to do build his own individual identity, earn his own money then only we will receive respect..

When he starts focusing on his own career he will support his partner but will not get involved in each and every matter..

I agree with you. Just because he says Netaji and stands against his father does not make him any worth. He is still saying in his fathers’s house and using his money. This is what Rajeev Bhansal trying to make him understand. Not sure why they are making Adi character weak.
