What is expected from Adi in this situation "to back his girl, to support her"? What should he do, which is not doing?

It's not about what Kavya was expecting.. Kavya did everything in her power to distance herself from Adi and that's why she said all those harsh words..

The point here is how gullible Adi is.. Even Malini didn't believe Kavya can be so heartless.. But Adi believed her even after claiming to love her and understand her..

Here the simple point is Adi just need to think, and decipher what is going on..

How Adi can trust his father and brother when all they ever did is to create problems between Adya.. Those are the stupidity which is making Adi a failure.

I am still assuming, its a fictional show and the characters are behaving in a certain manner, in which the makers wants to present it, not I want them to (I think, someone is telling me a story from his/her perspective)..

Also I believe, not all characters always behaved correctly or wrongly, may be something being build up, which will be revealed later...

I may be wrong, but I am still supporting both Kavya and Adi, sympathize with both of them in this situation and both are not right/not wrong..

Also, may be Adi could have done something, which would have solved the issue and unite them, which I am unable to think, I would love to listen..

It's sounds like the storyline is quite intense, with Kavya facing multiple challenges and antagonists. A well-paced narrative allows for character development and audience engagement but bringing 3rd angle was unnecessary. Friendship and relationship are two different thing. We share different feeling in both. Relationships are deeper than friendship.
