Om Shanti Om time for Khan… literally

Shah Rukh Khan is sure enjoying his time off after a year filled with a grueling schedule which had the superstar filming for Kaun Banega Crorepati, Ravi Chopra's Bhoothnath and above all his home production Om Shanti Om. But now after the resounding success of OSO, the superstar is taking a much needed break as he meets his other non-filmy commitments.

"Shah Rukh is not filming for any movie right now. He finished with KBC earlier this year followed with OSO and then had some parts of Bhoothnath to finish. He had a family holiday after finishing OSO but it wasn't very long. He was under a lot of stress while promoting OSO because this was his big film as a producer and now he is taking time off… he really needed this," says a source close to the actor.
Shah Rukh is presently looking at how things are moving at Red Chillies, at possible future investments for the company as well as making appearances for companies he is attached to.

"At one point when SRK was shooting for KBC he was working round the clock. He was shooting for KBC in the day and OSO at night. He would barely get 3-4 hours for himself. So now he is making full use of the free time, spending it with Gauri and his kids," adds a source.

Unemployed by choice!

Khan was expected to begin filming for Raj Kumar Hirani's film adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's Five Point Someone but the two had a disagreement and Khan dropped out of the film. The superstar was also set to work with best friend Farah Khan's hubby Shirish Kunder's JOKER but after an alleged fight over the script means that too hasn't materialized for Shah Rukh. So now Khan has just one film in his kitty – Karan Johar's My Name is Khan but that is expected to begin only towards the second half of next year.

As for now, it looks like Bollywood's number one star was right when he said he was unemployed for the next eight months. But in the King Khan's case it's hardly going to make a dent in his bank account!
