The starlet from OSO kept under wraps

The newcomer has featured in many television commercials with Bollywood's top stars like Aamir Khan, Sanjay Dutt and Kunal Kapoor.

Our sources inform, "Yuvika has been totally sidelined in the promotions of Om Shanti Om. Neither is she seen in any of the on-going promos on television nor the two theatrical promos that are being shown in cinema halls across the globe. The debutante has also not been invited for any promotional activities the OSO team is doing together. The makers want to focus right now only on presenting Deepika Padukone."

When OSO's music launch happened in mid-September, she was nowhere to be seen even as the entire cast and crew was present. Then again just a week back when the entire OSO team participated in a Fashion Show showcasing the OSO collection in a tie-up with a popular brand, she was conspicuous by her absence. Yuvika plays the role of an actress in OSO and also has a salsa dance sequence with the King Khan himself.

A source from the production team claims, "Yuvika hasn't got a very big role to play in OSO and the makers don't want to send out wrong signals. She has an important role in the film but it is more like a cameo."

This Zee Cinestars Ki Khoj finalist, who has also appeared in the Zee TV serial, Astitva… Ek Prem Kahani, is presently doing a film titled Summer of 2007 opposite Anupam Kher's son, Sikander Kher.

She has featured in the Innova commercial with Aamir Khan apart from starring opposite Sanjay Dutt in the Rupa Frontline ad. Her most popular one though has been the Thumbs Up commercial with Kunal Kapoor.
