KBC News - KBC, SRK help bridge borders

Pakistani fans tell KBClive about their experience in India.

Tonight's episode has a special audience. It includes a group of Pakistani students who were in the city for an educational trip decided to forget about their education and decided to attend the shooting of KBC instead.

And like always SRK seems to have struck a bond with the teacher heading the group. "You know he stands for so many things. Hard work. Respect. Success. He is just the example I want to give my kids back home in Pakistan. And it's not just him… everyone here in India have been so good to us and I want to tell everyone at home that what we hear sitting there is nothing like what things are actually here."

One of the students says now she understands why her grandmother misses India so much. "My granny would always tell us things about India. She would miss it a lot and she often told me stories about your country. But then we would read other things in the papers and on the news. Now when I have come here and met the people of your country I can relate to her. I will always remember India and how well I was treated here."

"And if I feel so strongly in just a few days then I can understand the older generations who have lived here for most of their lives," she adds.

"People here – on the sets – and out on the road … everyone has been so hospitable and polite and nice to us. I'm surely going to go home and tell everyone how good India is. You know they say seeing is believing and today I have truly realized that," says the youngest beautician.
