First character sketch come then comes performance. Sadly writer made it worse for her.
According to IF article and a IV of Manish..it is going to happen like that but let's see whether Viaan is also involved in it or not.I'm.not trusting Manish's words bcoz he also said that he knew about the relationship of Katha-Viaan-Aarav but y'days episode doesn't in any way implies that.
Fingers crossed for this being true.
Ideally viaan should run away from maa beta as far as possible but since maa beta have earned the tag of bechare dukhiyare after a lot of struggle and they deserve happy ending with ML so viaan had to be with them in the end.
But I still hope writers didn't make viaan beg or plan his own accident. Atleast give that much respect to his character.
I know re...that Viaan should stay away from them ...if possible just heal Aarav ....Katha would be at peace and then leave. Actually,Katha and Aarav the way their thinking and dynamics is shown...it is much better then stay with each other without including any other man( partner) in their family of two.
Sometimes good character sketch also doesn't look convincing if the actor is worthless. And true that...once the character of Katha which was sketched so beautifully turned out intolerable later .Originally posted by: _OrChiD_

I meant if character isn't good then Oscar winning performance won't even bring Oscar, it depends on both character and performance.
Respectful towards elders...after hearing him uttering certain words to Vhaan and Ehsaan ...I have doubt on that."Sabash beta" telling to Viaan whom he considers as his father..."teri ma ki toh" to Ehsaan ...I don't know how much respectful is that!! Telling Raghav "Arey yaar " who would be his dad and the attitude with which he sometimes speak with him...I don't look at it to be much respectful. But...he was caring no doubt ....sensitive, well he definetly was when he could sense every little bit of his mother's pain and get worried but now he is the same kid who is hurting his mother the most.Him lying on the hospital bed wakes up all scared, palpating while sensing something wrong is happening to his mother when Katha went for ONS was the Aarav who now don't even realise how much his mother is sad and stressed out!!Originally posted by: Eternalallure
I felt Aarav was always very well-mannered and respectful towards elders. He was always loving and caring and sensitive, even if a little extrovert and talkative. Towards Raghav and his family too I've always found him being respectful and caring. He was apologizing to Raghav for breaking that kid's bat even while crying and having a breakdown. It's just against Viaan that he becomes aggressive, ready to come to blows. Which is honestly so sad to see considering how much they loved each other before and how much Viaan yearns to rebuild their relationship. The way they ruined this beautiful bond is unforgivable. Not missing Viaan, not wanting to talk or see his face. Not even to tell him that he hated him and never wanted to see him again.
Like Viaan said if he couldn't handle Aarav's worst behavior then he also didn't deserve his best. As if kids don't rebel or talk back or sometimes even hate their biological parents. Viaan hated his father for the longest time. Would the way he used to talk about him also considered disrespectful? Or was that okay because Viaan was an adult? That aside, I agree they need to tone down Aarav's violence a bit. Ready to throw out punches on seeing Viaan doesn't even seem sensible. I wish they would show Aarav also apologizing to Viaan for all the hurt he caused. Like he did after the fire incident. But with just 5 days left I don't have much hope when it comes to regrets and apologies from Katha and Aarav
Viaan hated his father but he was always shown missing his father...making cards but never used any degrotary words.Resoect was definetly not there all thanks to Teji for maligning his mind knitting web lies.Apologies from mother-sonn duo seems to be unlikely but will still look forward to it.Redemption of Katha not possible now but atleast apologies can be shown...accepting their share of mistakes to Viaan.

This is something I agree with, his behaviour is too flash right now. This is an old problem actually. His over involvement always made sense but, felt off at the same time. Back then when Aarav was planning marriage for Katha and Viaan it felt a bit off then too. Then, him making a mannat in Dargah made my eyes roll. But, yeah, episodes were good back then and were peaceful and also if the outcome is good then, it was acceptable in name of creative liberty 
I think they should tone down him a bit. They never developed Raghav and Aarav's relationship so, we never got to know why he is so friendlike with Raghav. If we think about it, Aarav also called Viaan Robin but, we know it was a pact between them which they were abiding by. Hence, it made sense why Aarav is calling him by pseudo-name. If we give 8 months leap in that, it will feel off and absurd.
Also, his character was always like that a bit too grown up and it made sense because he was always between adults at home. I am not making this up, Katha pointed it out as well why Aarav is able to bond well with the adults when she found out Viaan is Robin.
