Today, even Dodo made sense to me. This is the first time I felt Dodo kuch dhang ki baathein kišŸ‘šŸ¼ Yes, to be constantly in the company of a person who worships the ground she walks on is difficult and uncomfortable. There is no point in asking her to quit as the writers won't let her quit🤢 She seems to be concerned for his mental state.

I truly don't know where the story is going. The focus is all on Viaan and how he comes out of his darkness. And Katha is the catalyst for his efforts. I am not complaining, just wondering........ Is there a couple story somewhere here? Is there any story of Katha and Aarav? Is there a story of how Garewaals will be supportive of Katha, the beti?

Some random thoughts...... the forum is awfully quiet. Everyone seems to be flabbergasted. Fire away girls........

Here are the tags..........

.... for me, this is the big problem on why I am not able to connect right now regardless of how well adnan is acting. it does not feel genuine. you know why he wants to get rid of darkness? because he believes that will get him katha. this literally feels like some teenage ploy on how to win your girl. only reason he wants to be better is not for himself but to get her.

this does not have the bitter truth of healing from emotional hurt -- we should feel dhak dhak when we watch these scenes. we should feel bad for viaan. do I feel anything? nothing. nada. there is no real emotion in those scenes because this isn't about real healing. neither from katha or from viaan. it is all superficial "let it go".

I think no one likes this track. Hope it ends soon.

And yes we couldn't connect with them. Even Vaanya track also I couldn't understand.

Again one more secret from Teji.

Already so many pending tracks and they are moving ahead with some new twists.šŸ¤”

what is really sad is that it is a missed opportunity for really good dhoom tana tana type drama -- the type of stuff that gets TRP audience hooked. it is not just dramatic but the kind of conflict that has real heart. instead, they have watered down this also to some simpering teenage nonsense.

whereas the same thing in a children's movie or cartoon would have you shedding tears -- nothing like a child that feels rejected by a father. these kind of conflicts are real and people have to work them out. so how does one do that as an adult. such missed opportunities.

Hey Mili šŸ¤—

Nice post and thanks for tag ,actually i m pretty bored from the show, I am just watching time pass.. even though it was emotional episode with Viaan remembering his father and all.. it did not strike chord with me.. they tried to bring the topic back with topic of fatherhood and then addressing this.. but it would have been good if they have brought this topic by revelation of vanya.. and then his making peace with past and whatever secrets they have.. but i guess they are going to show that vanya is revealed in pursuit of Viaan's going to make peace with lady suddenly on suggestion of Katha.. I somehow feel that there is lack of continuity or connection i would say.. they had this plot of katha finding about robin.. then suddenly focus shifted to viaan's past reconciliation.. and that went in backyard..

I agree that Dodo did said something sensible in the episode about ignoring Viaan but katha is not ignoring him at all.. and going into his personal space time and again.. Why not show a reflection of her actions by her.. like why does it matter to her if Viaan is in that state not forgiving his father.. have some monologue from katha .. some conflicts.. and some feelings that Katha is affected by his sadness coz she feels for him..

Kushi ji father deserting children for other lady is something I have unfortunately seen with my sister's friend. It could be because Viraaj was very upset with Teji and doesn't want Viaan to be a reason for Teji's re-entry into his life.

@bold, makes no sense does it? Go talk to Seema, understand her pov and all is good. Years of trauma, shame, hurt, anger- all gone in a puff and now he can sing happy poems to Katha. Feel nothing for Viaan either as it seems so forced. Couldn’t connect with the acting. Realization doesn’t come that quickly. There should be so much push back. I was fed up yesterday and not sure I will watch today…

True, to acknowledge the love for his dad, the blame has to be shifted. Who better than the woman who ā€œtookā€ his father away?

exactly; I really don't understand why they are rushing through the realization and making it all so superficial and clinical. even in a mini series, these kind of realizations are layered so well that when you watch such scenes, you feel it in your heart. here, nothing.

This is quite common, yes. However, given how much Viraj loved and believed in his son, to make a decision to not reach out to him at all is bewildering.
@bold, these things are worked out in the settlement. Custody, visitation rights etc. It’s just poor writing, comes across as stuff randomly put together.

these days, there are number of kids facing this turmoil in the school level. it is not something that one gets over so quickly. in many ways, this is a real life issue and we don't often see how adult children deal with the past in a mature way. it could have been written so well and instead, they made it all about katha's lectures magically saving viaan. šŸ™„šŸ™„
