A bubbly middle age lady with trimmed hair, nice makeup, all hale & healthy, with simple salwar costumes was shown onscreen for two months, one who keeps hiding her tears in pretext of cutting onions & faking happy stories about her sons in US. This is Aarav's donor Neerjaji who has been living with Katha in Mumbai as a free loader, with an excuse of US visa issues. She is shown helping Katha in cooking & baby sitting Aarav, does no other job for her livelihood, nor is sharing financial challenges of Katha.😕

Suddenly viewers are told about some old age home where this much fit & young looking Neerja used to live in same Mumbai city (usually old age homes admission is meant for frail, weak, lonely, non-working or abandoned elders atleast 60+ years as age criteria, how did Neerja qualify?)

Then two over grown adults, rude & selfish sons (who appear like Neerja's brothers onscreen) are shown to viewers who are blaming plus harassing her. Now these over grown sons are calling Neerja as 'budiya' before Katha & accusing her as if she is eyeing some property of Neerja by keeping their mother in her house?

This could be such an emotionally connecting sub track, Sry but writing, casting, styling, execution all are looking so lame & unconvincing for Neerja's back & current sad story. 👎🏼

Yes Mango. This is the first show where I did not Fast forward a single episode, I did not get bored for a single episode and I am hooked up so much for 3 long months

As much as I enjoy watching the show, I enjoy being here with KA family at IF. It is a place to chill and de stress

About the age, we don't know anything now may be they show she had an early marriage. Or even if she is shown as aged then I guess itv to be blamed. Many other actress who dont look that old have also played mom roles. Its done everywhere, once actress stop getting lead roles, she is typecasted in character roles of old women relatives.

And about her being a free loader, at first I used to think that but since she has become so integral part of their family I don't think katha minds it. Neerja dont contribute to income but she does lots of household chores for them.

About the old age home criteria thing, I guess govt run facilities may have those criteria but these days there are many private people running these kind of shelter/old age homes and they admit people on payment basis, there is no such criteria for admission.

So makers have justification for everything.

But I know what is the problem, you are not feeling that connect with dodo's situation and tbh, i also dont feel that tug in the heart. Her son treating her with disrespect do generate hate but altogether the sceanrio is not that touching. I was thinking that she might have some other problems but makers used the cliche concept of bhagban. May be the reason we are not feeling connected is that her track is rushed in, they should have taken more time in built up.

I agree he should show patience . Katha is not a normal girl ki jao aur propose kardo ushe. Viaan needs to think about her son and her family also. It's a long way to go for Viaan.
