Boss, Employee and their changing dynamics

Hi guys, It was a hectic week at work front and I missed a lot of interactions here.

I was watching the episodes, but could not write much here. Thought of pestering you all with a new thread today.

We have come long way in the story:

Katha, from a struggling mother with a child suffering with cancer to the lead architect and a super mom;

Viaan, from a privileged and judgemental man, who offered an ONS deal and went through it, realised the true story of Katha, started guilt trip and now he is out of guilt trip it seems and he is in love with Katha

Ehsan, from a jovial friendly person to an insecure and irritating person, who is not trustworthy

I wonder how the story line progressed, from Katha admiring Viaan in the first episode to Katha scared of Viaan, the khadoos boss to Katha avoiding Viaan after ONS, to Katha hating him for tricking her to dubai trip and second ONS offer, to Katha trying to find out various layers of Viaan as a human being, other than the dark night, the real Viaan and in this process, she is falling for him sub consciously and even she is not aware of it.

If you see closely Katha's eye movements, postures, body language and behaviour in recent episodes when she is with Viaan, she behaves entitled with Viaan, with a kind of right that she holds over him. The way she enters her cabin, the way she behaves when he comes to her cabin, they way she understand and has concern for him, it all says that she has accepted him in her personal space. She is resisting all his help, but she is not resisting it because of Viaan, what she is saying is that she can do on her own. But deep inside, she cares for him and wants to pull him out of his childhood traumas. and she understands that he is all alone, even while he is in the company of Ehsan or MamaR.

Viaan is almost out of guilt trip it seems, but he is still ashamed of what he has done. And he has fallen in love with her. I feel he is realising that Katha has become a part of his life, yet he is in denial that he is in love with her. But his whole life revolves around her. He shows a kind of inhibition yet, but he understands that she cares for him. I would have loved it more, had they not tried to make it explicit with the Maharani and her poem on love. They should have made Viaan realise on his own his feelings to look more natural.

What is mind blowing is the level of understanding that these two holds for each other. They show a kind of understanding that a mature couple shows after a couple of years in a relationship. They both understands each other without saying a single word, and tries to accommodate each other in any situation, be it in a small situation like Katha agreeing to Viaan to stay at studio for some more time, or Viaan asking Katha to sit in the car without saying a word to her and she quietly agreeing to it, or Katha changing the AV just because she understood Viaan is not comfortable with focus on PapaR.

PS: The Maharani's poem is still working on me it seems. Baat ye nahi ki Heer ne aise kya kaha ki wo Ranjhe ki ho gayi, baat ye hai ki Heer ne aise kya dekha ki wo khud Ranjha ban gayi.

So guys, its not Viaan falling in love first. Its Katha and Viaan falling for each other almost same time.

Todays' pre cap Teji asks Viaan why did he fight with her for Katha and Ehsan asks Katha why did she change AV for Viaan. I hope both of them realise their feelings. And both starts denial first and eventually accepting each other in their lives.

Kaviaan era is starting officially I hope. I love subtle office romance, not intense ITV cliches

Ahh so good to hear that... Hope kaviaan era starts soon... I also think that viaan is out of his guilt now coz not much is being shown about his guilt right now...

Katha's demeanour toh is changed 180 degree... She is full on haq jataoing on viaan.. Nowadays their every interactions has that sense of personal feelings attached to it😍...

Both of them has adopt each other's personality... Katha has adopted old viaan' mannerisms and viaan is behaving like the older katha now😁

Brilliant write up as usual.😍. I haven’t watched since Katha and Araav went to Eshaan’s for dinner and Batman and Robin are texting- so I’ve got a lot of binge watching to do😊. Sounds mega exciting and can’t wait to catch up and join the conversations again.

Thanks for the tag😊.I am finally at par with the episodes.You have described the changing dynamics in Katha and Viaan's relationship perfectly.I am loving that they are finally getting to their love story.Hope they maintain it and don't give overdose of Ehsan or filler episodes.

I only hope changing dynsmics ke chakkar mein they dont change the basic nature of the characters. Viaan dancing wildly, Katha allowing Ehsan so much casual physical contact, even a seasoned businessman like PapaG wanting to hand over business to an architect who knows zilch about hospitality not is familiar with their lifestyle, these are all so out of character.

letha -- been thinking about your comment on subtle romance. for me, subtle romance only works in the midst of high voltage drama, such as end of the world aliens attack, where there is no time or energy to have a lot of focus on the romance. otherwise, a subtle romance can feel like one of those uber slow dramas where nothing happens and the audience lose interest. many have been complaining that we are not getting much of katha's internal thoughts and so I think we need the romance to be a lot more obvious. not ITV style obvious but a lot more obvious than what tehy are showing. basically we need to see the struggle from her side as well.
