Remember Aarav is just 8 years. So everything will be done as per his liking. Be it food, cloths, toys, car, or anything.

My son's fav colour is red, and for more than a decade or so whatever we get at our home is red. We waited for Red variant of our new car for 6 months extra. Even all our birthday cakes are red velvet. I am actually not a fan of red. I like blue, same with my husband. But we automatically get everything red.

And the most precious thing is that little smile on his face when he see his gifts in red. Anything for that smile❤️❤️

PS: he is now a teenager, 14 year plus. yet we get anything of his choice

I can totally relate to Katha. My life revolves around my boy ever since he was born. I think of myself as a mother first and then only any role comes. Kids also reciprocate it the same way. Its not only in the shows that we such moments. Sometimes you get in your own life also

Haven't watched OG or any other adaptions, other than following KA.

But have been reading here that in OG, Ehsan's character was from grey to negative to evil, oscillating a lot with more toxicity. So in KA, don't think writers or makers or channel are doing some thing weird or OTT, suddenly to push negativity ONLY for some TRPs sake.😳

But build up should have been more convincingly written & presented in KA, that's the complaint in this hindi adaption which some of us have.😔

Say initial 40 KA episodes both partners cum friends & their respective mom's have been shown too close, who have been together in thick & thin for years as trusted confidants, sharing almost all important personal matters, sorrows, fears, likes, dislikes, moods, aspirations etc.👍🏼 For that matter mom's who are part of Earthcon board are together running an NGO for single mom's separately & also attend parties together.

Last week both Ehsan & his mom suddenly getting shown cunning, manipulative, plotting to secure a long life without Viaan, 😲anticipating Earthcon partnership to break was a big bouncer, that too relying on a new lead architect single mom with a 8 years son, for their own bright professional cum personal future?

Then this week Ehsan spiking his partner cum childhood friend Viaan's juice in Jeetu bhai anniversary party to belittle him before his entire staff, is another abrupt bouncer. 👎🏼

Wish these two sequences could have been avoided or much better written, with some preludes shown quite early as hints to viewers, then outburst might been less too.😛

Agree with most of the points but I would like to add here that many people are finding ehsan and his mom's behaviour as sudden change or maligning their characters to highlight Viaan's transformation and repentance.

But this show is official remake of og so they cant depart from it much. They may make changes to suit more to indian culture like they have done with katha and garewals equation. But if they make major changes then it won't be called remake, it will reduced to mere "inspired" from og.

And tbh, in og i felt ehsan's character was changed overnight because he was not conspiring much before viaan proposed katha. In fact he accepted in front of viaan that he will let go of his wish to marry katha just because viaan loves her and ehsan was ready to sacrifice his love. But then he took 360 degree turn and became villain. So that is something called sudden change.

But here we are seeing slowly what ehsan is capable of, how low he can stoop, what are his insecurities and fear. They are explaining it well through his own actions and also through viaan ehsan conversation. Like how viaan said that ehsan loves every valuable thing and right now katha is valuable in his eyes as she has won an important project for company and she is epitome of strong woman for him.

And the changes can be called sudden if after showing a character in certain way for long time like 100+ episodes atleast makers make him act in very different way. But here show is not that old. Character establishment takes time, it can't be done in 1-2 episodes. So just seeing ehsan in few episodes might not necessarily means that he is like that only. Writers are still introducing to all the character traits of ehsan, viaan and katha.

If praising katha or hating viaan for few of their scenes and making opinion about them is not fair then definitely doing same with ehsan is also not fair.

I dont think there is any sudden change in him. We are still uncovering layers of his complex character.

I want to know if Katha is on a forgiving spree..I think papaG and Viaan not meeting her eyes while speaking to her is something that triggered her when Ehsan brought it up..

Waise papaG is quite smart..his guilt suddenly popped up when Katha came home..when she's not around he's all jolly..asking for halwa..dreaming of a full house 😆

All are smart in this show..even Ehsan and Reet.

When has Aarav worn yellow colour in the show🤔🤔🤔

If its his fav colour it should also reflect in khud ka dressing ,wall colour ,room decoration etc right,hence i said excuse for wearing terrible clothes

I feel Katha ka being a good Mom is shown too much and even other characters emphasize it a lot as if she is the only mother alive

I guess you are a 90's kid😆

Back then parents didn't use to indulge in all these "alle lele mere Shona babu ko kya chahiye" types over bearing parenting style. They let children get taste of life on their own.

But aajkal most of the parents are like that only. Actually the world has changed. First woman got married early but now they are career oriented so get married late then have children late. By that time due to biological clock those pregnancies become "precious pregnancy" so from doctors to grandparents everyone takes extra care and this becomes habit. Thus children are more pampered these days.

In the case of katha, though, it can also be said that she has no one in her life except aarav. She doesn't even have many friends. If there was any different angle to her life then it also got lost somewhere since she is fighting against her son's cancer. So its not a big deal for her to give his son topmost priority and think about him and his liking always.
