I agree!
The constant talk of guilt from katha...I think concious is the right way to describe it. Katha's concsious is clear because she did what she did to save her son. what is Viaan's defense? misogyogny, stupidity?

Viaan's breakdown was on another level.. Truly felt for a moment that he was gonna jump 😭 Katha correctly pointed out his problematic thinking regarding women 👍🏼 Even I am curious how she will come back because absolutely can't see that happening at the moment
he realizing he had become his father was a huge blow -- it did look like he was tempted to jump for a few seconds. but I really didn't get the scene with his father. why was the mom accusing him of trying to buy her? she should have been glad that the guy was willing to give her alimony and pay for the welfare of his son. that is their right. for some absurd reason, she made it seem like the dad was giving guilt money to walk away. even more absurd, she then begs him to stay after insulting him. umm, yea, nice tactic there lady. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
this woman has done such a number on her son that he hates a huge part of himself and anything that remotely resembles his father. am going to bet that the father probably wasn't as bad and his impression of what happened was skewed by mamaR.

Me too. Someone please explain what that whole flashback meant. His father said something along the lines of how his mom also married him for money and I'm like this makes no sense cause doesn't Viaan actually love his mother and hates gold diggers?? Then they assumed that the other woman in his life trapped the father for money whereas he actually loved her so does that mean they are blaming the other woman and not the father but they also hate the father for leaving them for loving another woman like what is going on somebody please clarify?

preview: katha looking at viaan like a mother who wants to slap her bratty teenage son. 😆 such eye rolls in that expression. 😂
Viaan keeps popping up in all places and keeps saying galat Kar Raha hoon and continues to stalk her I thought he's changed now after he accepted the fact that Katha doesn't want to work in his company anymore but he's at it again 😆
Raat ko he said it's a Gunah not a galti..now in this promo he calls it galti
Katha please whack him on his head.

my guess is that this was a typical arranged marriage where they were matched for status. so perhaps thats why the father said along the lines of "well don't be so pretentious; you won't have married me without my money (status)"
it seemed like a toxic marriage where the father was desperate to get out. and mamaR was having meltdowns.
poor jenny -- I would have totally freaked out to see my manager all slouched in the balcony. what was he doing there? I know he is the ML but it was so emotionally dark that it seemed that he might have tempted to do something bad to thimself...
What I gauged of that flashback scene was Viraj was leaving his family for the other woman but he was making sure both teji and their son will be well off in some twisted sense he thinks he is completing his role of father there but then teji makes that statement of buying them off
I don’t understand that woman to be honest first she blames the woman now she is blaming the husband
All this blame game screwing Viaan’s head ; boy does he needs a therapist bad
However we can’t judge Viraj character so swiftly it can be a scenario like that in movie jab we met with shahid kapoor’s mom
He might just not be happy or in love with teji ( this certainly doesn’t make him leaving his family correct) but somewhere in that line
