RK meet in this part.....
Re-cap : Devika convinces Robbie to quit one of his jobs. Divya wins her match and qualifies for the Delhi Tennis tourney. Ajay and Raunak are introduced, they study in the same University as Robbie. Ajay's sister Kasturi, calls him.
PART - 4 : NOT 'TOE'ING THE LINE!
Ajay's face breaks into a smile and he answers the phone.
Ajay : Hey Kas!! 😃
Kasturi : Hai bhaiyoo! Kahin meine disturb toh nahi kiyaa? Aap class mei hai kya? 😊
Ajay : Nahi....bol kya baat hai?
Kasturi : Actually bhaiyoo, aaj shaam ka hamaara program thoda postpone karnaa hoga. 😳 Mujhe koi aur kaam aa gayaa hai.
Ajay : No problem. Kisi aur din chalenge wahaan.
Kasturi : Great! Lets plan to do it sometime next week.
Ajay : OK. Chal, phir baad mei baat karte hai. I am about to step into my class.
They disconnect the call and Kasturi immediately calls a friend of her's and says
Kasturi : Its done! I am free for the whole week!! Did you get the info?
She listens to what her friend is saying on the other side of the call keenly and says
Kasturi : 7.00 PM ?? OK...got that!
She continues to listen into the phone. Then she looks at her watch and thinks she has plenty of time. Then she finally says
Kasturi : Great work Gia!!! Thanks for the info! Ab tu Kasturi Chawla ka kamaal dekh!!!
Gia : Cool!! I know you will do it kas!! Accha, tu college kab pahunch rahi hai??
Kasturi : Arre I just woke up....thodi der mei nikloongi. I will be there in an hour.
They end the convo and Kasturi has a determined smirk on her face!! She is sitting lazily in her bedroom with her feet plopped up on the coffee table. Her bedroom is huge and beautiful! It was decorated in pastels with some beautiful artwork!! She is deep in thought and is swinging her feet from left to right and right to left on the coffee table. In this process her feet hit the breakfast tray that still has a lot of leftover breakfast and coffee in it. It crashes down.....all the contents are spilled on the carpet!! She looks at it irritatedly and says "HELL!!!" 😡 Then she yells...."Nandoo......NANDOO!!!"
Nandu comes rushing to her room. Kasturi gets up and starts walking over to her closet which spreads across an entire wall of her bedroom. She points towards the mess and says
Kasturi : Isse phataaphat saaf kar doh!
Nandu says : Ji, baby.
Kasturi freezes in her tracks and yells at him "Kitni baar kahaa, mujhe baby MAT kaho????" 😡 😡
Nandu apologizes..."Sorry...choti maalkin! Woh muh seh phisal gayaa tha...Sorry!"
Kasturi gives him an angry look 😡 and goes to her closet while Nandu goes to get cleaning supplies to clean the mess. Kasturi looks through the hundreds of dresses she has....but she does not find anything that comes even remotely close to what she is planning to wear, later in the day. So she decides she will go shopping in the afternoon.
In the University:
During lunch time, Robbie is sitting in the canteen chatting up with friends when he feels somebody tap his shoulder. He turns to see Raunak. Both smile and shake hands. Raunak also pulls a chair to sit next to Robbie. (Guys, Raunak has the current look which makes him look hotttt, but he is not evil!)
Raunak inquires : What's up buddy? How is it going?
Robbie replies with a smile : Great!!! How is it with you? Bahut din hue, dikhe nahi? 😊
Raunak : Haan......I was out of the country. Bas do din pehle lautaa hun.
Raunak Singhania was a millionaire. He had a lot of spare cash to throw around and so gals and guys flocked around him constantly. But Raunak was smart! He knew how to sieve the fluff from the grain.........how to differentiate between worthy and unworthy friendship....true and untrue people!! And that helped him judge Robbie accurately! He really liked Robbie because Robbie was a straight-shooter, honest and was not in awe of his wealth! He became friends with Robbie precisely for that reason......that Robbie did not give two hoots if he was one of the richest guys around! They both had gone to the same school and were in the same class through high-school......which was considerable amount of time......but Raunak never expressed to Robbie that he valued Robbie's friendship and that he had fun spending time with Robbie. Raunak never shared his thoughts because.....Robbie never allowed him to!
Robbie did not believe in lasting relationships!! Fate had dealt him a ruthless blow, early on in his life and so he now feared to get too close to anybody! He did not want to loose anybody and suffer because of that! It had taken him long years to accept the fact that he dearly loved his new family, his uncle and aunt's. But with friends, he was more careful......he never allowed anybody to get too close!
Raunak asks : Toh kya socha tumne?? You think you can do it?
Robbie looks down at the pen that he is fiddling in his hands, for a moment. Then he looks up to Raunak and says
Robbie : Honestly Raunak.......I have not had the time to think about it! It has been so busy recently....that I never got around to make a decision about this!
Raunak does not feel bad. In fact he likes Robbie's honest answer. Atleast, he never made false pretences and promises!
Robbie continues : But I am going to think about it! And I will give you an answer soon enough! Sorry for the trouble
Raunak denies that he was bothered in any way : No problem bro!! I totally understand. I just hope your answer will be positive! 😊
Robbie changes the topic and they talk about other stuff.
The day goes by pretty quickly. After his classes, Robbie does a role-reversal, he becomes a teacher from a student.....i.e goes to work at his teaching job at NIIT. The first thing Robbie does is, goes to his manager and seeks permission to leave an hour early for the next 2 weeks as he his mid-term exams start from Wed. He is granted permission.
At 7 PM Robbie leaves. He is in the bus stop, waiting for his bus when one of his students, who is passing by stops to ask him some doubts. They start discussing and Robbie is seriously explaining to the student
Robbie : Persistence is one of the key features of object oriented programming. For data to be reused, the data needs to persist across classes and this is achieved by data objects such as....AHHHHHHHHHH.......OUCH!!!!
Robbie pushes away the person who had stepped on his left foot!!! The stilleto heel of her right shoe had landed on his left toe and it was crushed!! The girl turns to look at him. He hops on one leg, holding up his injured leg and yelps like a small puppy....."ah ah ah ah......uff!" The pain was excruciating!!! He is mad with pain 😡 and turns to look at the girl and says to her "Dekh ke nahi chal sakti kya?????"
Kasturi replies back arrogantly : AAP dekh ke khade nahi ho sakte kya???
Robbie is irritated : What the hell is that supposed to mean??? Ulta chor, kotwaal ko daante?? Aankhen saamne rakhkar, peeche ki oor kyun chal rahi thi aap?? 😡
Actually Kasturi was trying to see someone. That person was standing across the street, trying to cross the road. An electricity pole was blocking her view and she she was trying to move into such a position that she could see that person completely. In that process, she was moving backwards and had never realized that she was going to step on someone's feet.
Kasturi : Arre.........zaraa si chot hi toh lagi hai! Iske liye saara bus stop koh sar peh leni ki kya zaroorat hai?
Robbie looks at her incredously : 😲 Zaraa si chot??? Yeh aapko zaraa si chot lagti hai??
He, his student and Kasturi look at his toe. It is badly hurt and has just started to bleed!
Robbie continues : Aur aapke tevar aise hai, ke you don't even want to apologize?? 😡
Kasturi says : Theek hai, theek hai......SORRY! Ab chillana band keejiye!
She acts as if she is doing him a favor by apologizing. Now Robbie is mad!!! He is about to give it back to her when his bus arrives. His technical mind quickly analyzes the disadvantages of missing the bus vs the advantages of arguing with this arrogant girl and that helps him to make the best decision!!! He bids goodbye to his student and hops over quickly to get into the bus and leaves.
Kasturi jerks her head thinking......."Jeez........what a nut case!" She quickly turns to see, that the person across the street is gone!!! She quickly scans both sides of the road, but cannot find that person! She is exasperated at this and angrily walks off cursing Robbie for ruining it!! 😡
In Sabharwal apartment:
Alaana is doing a catwalk for her sisters. She is showing off her new pink dress and matching accessories and shoes! She had bought them today for the farewell party that her class was going to be given in 2 weeks! She asks them excitedly...."Kaisa lagaa"?? 😃
Divya is the first to reply and she comes straight to the point : It is ugly!!! This is one of the worst dresses I have ever seen!! 🤢
Alaana places her hands on her hips! She gives Divya a killer look 😡. Divya understands the meaning of that look and she says
Divya : What???? Any dress that is this pink in color and has these many flowers on it, is always going to be YUCK!!! 👎🏼 Agar hamaara opinion sunanaa aapko pasand nahi, toh poochti kyun hai??? 🤔
Alaana says : You..shut up!!
Shivani interrupts and says : Didi.........dress bahut bahut sundar hai!! And you are looking gorgeous in it!! 😳
Alaana breaks into a smile and cooes : Thanks Shivani!!!!! Mujhe pataa tha tumhe yeh dress bahut pasand aayega!!
And looks at Divya coldly! Divya makes a face at her 😛 Just then the door bell rings! Alaana, who is closest to the door, opens it. It is Robbie. As soon as he steps in, Alaana immediately accosts him!
Alaana : Bhaiyya....yeh dress kaisi hai? 😃
And she twirls the dress a bit.
Robbie replies back saying : Acchi hai!
Alaana : And my shoes???
She shows of her stilleto heeled shoes. Those shoes remind Robbie of his aching, bleeding toe and the pain is refreshed!! He stares at those heels and growls at Alaana...." I HATE those shoes!!!! Unko mere saamne seh hataa, varnaa I will tear them to pieces! 😡 ( 🤣 🤣 🤣 )
