Re-cap : Kasturi saves Divya. Both of them don't get shot. The abducted girl joins her family. The trip ends and everyone gets back to Delhi. Shivani has noticed that her brother and Kasturi were more than friends! Raunak throws a bash for his cousins who are going back to London. Ajay and Alaana get closer in that party. Kasturi reveals to Raunak that she and Robbie were in love.
PART - 29 : LONG CHERISHED WISH COMES TRUE
Raunak's face changes a multitude of expressions........from shock, 😲 to astonishment, 😲 to wonder, 😲 to disbelief 😳 !! And then slowly a smile spreads on his face! 😃 And then he starts to laugh! 😆 😆 Robbie and Kasturi look at each other perplexed! After a few moments, Raunak stops and says......."I am sorry! I am acting like an idiot! But this is stunning news!" 😃
And then he gets up from his chair and looking at both of them says with a wide smile..."I am so happy for you both!!!! 😃 This is awesome!!!!" He will first hug Kasturi, and then Robbie, very warmly! 🤗
Kasturi asks cautiously : So, you are ok with it Raunak? I am sorry if I hurt you! 😕
Raunak replies with a warm smile : No, no! You did not hurt me in any way at all, Kas!!! I am very very happy for both of you! 😃
And then he adds with a chuckle : In fact I am so relieved Kas! 😆 😆 😆 Ab samajh mei aaya, tum kyun mujh seh door bhaag rahi thi! 😆 Mei toh ghabraa gayaa tha ke kahin mujh mei koi problem toh nahi!! 🤔
Robbie and Kasturi breathe easy. Kasturi is relieved!! 😛 She had not wanted to lead Raunak on, anymore! She wanted to clarify and make him understand the issue as soon as possible so that no misunderstandings occur and nobody gets hurt! 😊
Raunak says with wonder : Lekin yeh sab hua kaise??? I mean, how and when did this happen???😲😲
They all sit down and between Kasturi and Robbie, they recollect everything. Raunak just listens to them, amazed! 😲 He cannot help but see how totally in love Robbie and Kasturi were and how magnetic they were as a couple! 😳 😳 He feels very very happy for them and tells them the same again.
Robbie smiles and says : Thank you for understanding Raunak! 😊
Raunak says : Thank you seh baat nahi banegi, samjhe?? Lets spread the joy and have a toast on this!! 😃
Kasturi quickly says : Actually Raunak......at this time we would like to keep this as quiet as possible! Jab waqt aayega tab bataayenge.
Raunak eyes Kasturi and asks : Ajay..........??
Kasturi says : Bhaiyya ko abhi kuch nahi pataa. Mauka dekhkar mei unhe bataaungi. 😳
Raunak nods his head in an understanding way and says with a deep sigh : Well, you both deserve each other and make a fantastic couple! I really wish the very best to both of you! 👏 👏 👍🏼
Kasturi and Robbie look at each other and smile happily as they sit together and talk more. 😳
The party was going to extend till the wee hours of dawn but the Sabharwals decide to end it after midnight. Everyone has had a lot of fun and its time to say goodbye. Though they have not spent a lot of time together, they really feel sad about bidding goodbye to Sameer and Rajat! Divya and Rajat have become good buddies. They exchange email ids and facebook profiles and promise to keep in touch! 😛
Alaana asks : So when will be your next trip to India?
Sameer says with a wink : Awww........you are already missing me, are you ??? 😉 😆 😆 All you have to do is say the word Alaana and I won't even go back!!! 😉
Everyone laughs. 😆 😆 Alaana hits Sameer on the hand and asks with a smile : Do you even stop flirting? 😊
Sameer says : I cant help it! I worship beauty!! 😉 But seriously, If you guys ever plan to visit that part of the world then don't forget to look us up in London!! 😃
Rajat agrees with what his brother is saying and Divya says : I will visit you in a couple of years! 😛
Everyone looks at her surprised and Robbie says with a smile : Really? And how are you planning to do that? 🤔
Divya replies cheekily : When I go to London for my first Wimbledon open!!
Everyone laughs 😆 😆 😆 and Rajat says......."That will be jolly good, Divs! I will be waiting for you!" 👍🏼
They all bid each other another round of goodbye......Alaana and Ajay silently through their eyes and Robbie, by throwing a flying kiss at Kasturi when nobody is watching!! 😳
On Monday, Alaana starts her new job. A week passes and she slowly gets into the groove. She loves the job and finds it an excellent outlet for her creativity. 😊 Ritu Malhotra, her manager seemed like a friendly lady. On the second Monday at her job...........around lunchtime, the receptionist calls her to tell that she has a visitor in the lobby waiting for her. Alaana is surprised! 🤔 Who would come to visit her?? She thinks maybe it is her brother and so hurries out. Finding Ajay waiting for her will freeze her in her tracks!! 😲😲😲 She stares at him like an idiot while he is enjoying the surprise on her face!!! 😃 He could not stay away anymore! 😳 It was 9 days since he saw her and he had finally decided to show up at her door.....office door that is! 😉 😆 😆
He walks to her and says......."Hi"! 😃 Alaana recovers and stammers......"Aap?? Aap, yahaan?". 😲😲 Ajay lies........"Actually mei idhar kisi kaam seh aaya tha! Dekha toh lunch-time ho gayaa. Mujhe akele khaana bilkul pasand nahi hai! 😳 Phir mujhe yaad aaya ke aap yahin kahin kaam karti hai! Toh socha kyun na aap ke saath lunch ho jaaye!" 😛
Alaana replies : Mei lunch apne ghar seh laati hun! 😳
The moment she has said that, she wanted to kick herself for saying that!!! She chides herself mentally......"Great Alaana!! 😡 That must be what he wanted to hear after coming this far to meet you......Sorry Ajay, can't eat with you in a fancy restaurant because I cannot be unfair to my lunch dabba!!!!.........What is wrong with you, you idiot!!! 😡 "
But Ajay does not let that statement unfaze him! He replies back : Woh aap dinner peh khaa lenaa, abhi mere saath chaliye! 😛
The way he says that, the way he looks at her, she does not have any more power to reject and so meekly agrees! 😳 😳
A whole hour passes by like a minute!!! 😳 Neither Alaana nor Ajay remember what they ordered or what they ate! 😳 They had a lot to talk! And Ajay realizes that once Alaana feels comfortable around a person, she opens up very easily and can talk endlessly! 😃 They both had been thinking about each other constantly in the past days and he is so glad that he finally decided to break the barrier between them! 😃
While dropping her back at her office, he parks his car while Alaana is getting out. Suddenly he says
Ajay : Alaana.......meine jhoot bolaa tha! 😊
Alaana turns to look at him perplexed!
Ajay continues : Mei aaj yahaan kisi kaam seh nahi aaya tha! Balki aapseh milne aaya tha! 😳
Alaana smiles and says shyly : Jaanti hun! 😳
Ajay raises his eyebrows : You knew all along? 😲
Alaana nods her head indicating a yes.
Ajay smiles and says : You are not as naive as you look! 😃 Toh phir kal........apnaa lunch mat laaiye! Mujhe kal bhi iss taraf kuch kaam hai! 😉
He winks at her and Alaana blushes. ☺️ She thanks him for the wonderful lunch and gets out. She waves him goodbye and he drives away. She stares after his car, an unknown excitement as well as confusion crowding her heart! 😳 😳
3 weeks pass. Alaana had stopped bringing lunch to work! She and Ajay went out for lunch everyday! The 'Aap' between them had given way to 'Tum'. And though they both had not openly acknowledged their love, they were very well aware of what was going on between them! 😳 😳
In those 3 weeks, Kasturi had been very busy practicing the two performances that she was going to give in Singapore. She was going to leave on Thursday. The festivities were starting on Friday and extending through Saturday, ending on Sunday. And she was planning to fly back on Monday. Kasturi is very nervous as well as excited about the trip and her performances! 😕 She was performing for the first time internationally and however confident she might be, she was still feeling very anxious. But she tries to hide this anxiety from her family as well as Robbie! Her mother and brother were too busy and could'nt accompany her! And her dad? Well, she had not asked her dad as she was sure he would not be interested either! 😔
That Tuesday, Robbie comes to meet her at the dance studio after work. As usual, she was practicing her heart out! Robbie finally decides to stop her from burning herself out and insists that she stop dancing and that they both go out for dinner!! 😳 Kasturi protests but Robbie does not give in and finally Kasturi agrees on the condition that they grab something quick to eat. Robbie agrees and they set out in his bike to the Knights Corner mall, which is very close to the studio. She loved that bike! 😳 Since Robbie had bought it, they always rode his bike everywhere!
Kasturi is very jittery and nothing seems to hold her interest! She is very fretful and irritated. 😡 Finally, Robbie stops walking! Kasturi continues to walk for a few steps till she realizes that he is not with her. She stops and turns back to look at him. She asks him surprised......"Kya hua??" 😳 "Wahi toh mei poochna chahta hun! Kya hua hai tumhe?"........asks Robbie. 😳
Kasturi says : Nothing is working out Robbie! 😕 I feel I have not practiced enough!! Mujhe abhi tak proper earrings nahi mile, to complete one of my attire!! 😒 It has still not been decided which of my performances will be the first one........
"Kasturi!" interrupts Robbie......."Kya hua hai tumhe??? 😳 Kasturi stops talking. She turns away from him and leans against the railing on the 5th floor of the mall and stares down at all the smiling and laughing people around her and on the floor. Robbie slowly walks upto her and stands next to her, on her right. He wraps his left arm around her waist and turns her to him. 😳 Kasturi turns towards him but she does not look at him. Robbie lifts her face up with his right hand, making her look at him and asks softly......"What is wrong?" 😳 Kasturi looks at him quietly, her eyes getting a little moist and she says........"Mei.....I don't know! I am just feeling very nervous and..........and lonely!" 😭
Robbie smiles and says : It is good to feel nervous! 😊 That shows how important this is for you!! Jab koi cheez zyaada important nahi hoti hai, toh we don't care about it much! But if it is important for us then we feel concerned and anxious about it! 😛
Kasturi stares at him. She had not been sharing her anxiety with him because she did not want to hear the usual standard dialogs from him about how good she was at dancing and that she will perform very well and that she should not worry.....etc etc! But here he was telling her to not feel bad about being nervous! 👍🏼
Robbie continues : I wish I could come with you! 😊 But now, its a bit late, we don't have the time to get my visa etc. Bas, yeh ek baar tum akeli jaake aa jao........after that.........I won't let you go alone, ever!
Kasturi stares at him. She swallows hard.........she had a knot her in throat! 😳 😳 She leans into his arms and whispers......"I love you!!" 😳 Robbie kisses her forehead and says playfully : Good! I am glad we are clear about that part! 😉 😆
Kasturi laughs and nestles against him. Robbie says.........."Chalo.....lets do something about those earrings!" 😃
Kasturi agrees happily. In a minute he had changed her mood for the better and they start hunting for earrings till Kasturi finds the most perfect pair!! 👏 👏 She is so happy that she finally found what she wanted! 😃 When she comes to the counter to pay, the cashier packs it up and says indicating Robbie........"Inhone already pay kar diyaa hai!" Kasturi turns to look at Robbie. She was very happy that he paid for those!! 😃 She was a very independent girl but for some reason she loved the fact that she had spent Robbie's money to buy something for herself!! 😳 😳 It gave her a feeling of belonging to him! 😳 Robbie acknowledged her happiness! He was feeling the same happiness about having bought her something! 😃
Robbie comes to the airport Thursday evening to send her off. He wishes her the very best and a confident Kasturi boards her flight to Singapore! The festival is a gala event! It is held beautifully and Kasturi wins much applause and admiration for her dances. 👏 👏 👏 She is proclaimed as the "Fabulous face of the new wave of dance form", as the "Charming future of Contemporary dance" etc! It was a very successful trip!
Kasturi cannot help but smile on her flight back on Monday afternoon. She could not wait to meet Robbie! 😃 She had missed him a lot! 😳 But since her flight was arriving in the afternoon, she had asked him not to come to the airport. Instead, Anand was coming to pick her up. After picking her stuff up and passing customs, Kasturi and Anand drive out of the airport.
Anand wanted to know every detail of the trip and Kasturi was sharing with him all that happened in the trip. They both are talking non-stop. One minute they are laughing at some joke Kasturi has cracked and the next minute Kasturi screams loudly..........."ANAND!!!"........but it is too late, Anand had already smashed his car into a scooter that was in front of his car!!! He had not noticed it while talking to Kasturi!!! 😲 The car screeches to a halt!! But the impact will smash the scooter into another car in front of it and the riders on the scooter fall down!! The left leg of one of the rider gets stuck in the scooter and he gets dragged with the scooter, across the street and goes and hits the sidewalk!!! 😲 It is a severe accident and the rider immediately looses concsiousness!!! 😲 The whole accident plays in front of Kasturi's eyes!! Anand goes pale with fear and starts shaking uncontrollably!!!
"Oh my God.............Oh my God Kasturi..........Kasturi!!" He starts mumbling and whispering!!! 😲 😲 😲
Kasturi holds his hand and says : Calm down Anand. 😲 😲 Pehle chalke dekhte hai kitnaa buraa haal hai....chalo! 😒 😲
Anand does not want to get out of the car as a crowd has already started to form! But Kasturi drags him out. They rush to the second rider of the scooter who was not hurt too badly, but was sitting on the road dazed!! 😲 😲
Kasturi calls out to her : Suniye, suniye.......aap theek toh hai na? 😕
The woman looks up to her in shock but mumbles.........."Haan mei theek hun........mei.....mei....." 😲 😲 😲 And then she frantically glances around and screams..........."Mere pati.....mere pati kahaan hai........mere pati!!!"
Kasturi quickly runs to the man, with Anand at her heels! People have already started to check his pulse and were trying to extract his leg out of the scooter. Anand looses his nerve completely at seeing how badly that man was hurt and he whimpers......."Kasturi, chalo yahaan seh....chalo!!! Please.........I can't do this. 😭 😭 ....Please........chalo...jaldi chalo....PLEASE!!!" He drags Kasturi when the woman comes rushing forward screaming for her husband!! When she sees how badly he is hurt, she breaks down severely!! 😭 😭 😭 Kasturi tries to calm Anand down and says.........."Anand! Kaisi baatein kar rahe ho! 😡 Hame inki madad karni chahiye! Lets take them to the hospital!!"
"Nahi....nahi"........screams Anand. 😭 An unrest was rising against Anand and Kasturi in the crowd and Anand was getting gut-scared!!! 😭 😭 Suddenly the woman lunges towards Kasturi and Anand and she starts slapping Anand hard and screams......."Kahaan bhagegaa tu!!! 😡 😡 Kahaan bhagnaa chahta hai..........Mei tujhe kahin nahi jaane doongi" 😭 😭
Kasturi tries to separate that woman from Anand, but the woman starts hitting Kasturi too! Kasturi manages to hold her hands and says......."Dekhiye, hum kahin nahi jaa rahe! Pehle jaldi hospital chalte hai......please control yourself! 😕 Aapke pati ko medical attention ki sakht zaroorat hai!!! Meri baat suniye..........please!" Kasturi's words seem to register in that woman's brain! She quickly runs back to her husband! Kasturi runs after her and fervently requests the crowd to quickly pick up the man and put him in Anand's car!!! 😕 Some men do that. Anand is still shaking, so Kasturi shoves him into the passenger seat and she rushes to the driver seat! The woman and one more man sit in the backseat and hold the injured man who was bleeding profusely!! 😲 😲
Kasturi drives superfast! She is a skillful driver and in 10 minutes she is driving into the Medicity complex. While driving she had already called ahead and asked for an emergency arrangement. She looks into the rearview mirror and sees the woman still crying hysterically!! 😭 😭 Her crying was making Kasturi even more nervous and Anand was adding to her worry!!! 😕 He was sitting like he was dead........he had completely gone blank! Anand was an extremely sensitive guy who had suffered from depression and nervous breakdowns for a long time!!! That was the reason she always treated him with care! 😔 Kasturi was getting worried that he might have a breakdown now!!! 😕
As soon as they reach the hospital, the man is immediately shifted into a stretcher and carried in. The woman, the other man and Anand follow him while Kasturi stops at the reception to get some paperwork done. The moment she gets a chance, she calls Robbie.
"Robbie......." is all she has said when Robbie immediately knows something is wrong and he asks her........"Kas! Kya hua??? Tumhaari awaaz aisi kyun hai? Kab seh intezaar kar rahaa hun tumhaare phone kaa!"
Kasturi is so glad to hear his voice! She was feeling very drained out!! She tells him what happened. A worried Robbie confirms several times that she is not hurt and immediately starts off for Medicity!
Then Kasturi inquires and goes to the emergency ward where the accident victim was taken. One of the hospital procedure specialist calls up the police accident service hotline and gets an accident FIR filed against Anand. Then he goes along with Kasturi. He takes the name and address of the good samaritan and lets the man go. Meanwhile one of the Doctor comes out and informs them the condition of the patient is critical but not fatal.😲 They can give more details about his injuries only after further x-rays and tests. And so they ask Kasturi, Anand and the patient's wife, all of them to be seated and wait for the next update which will be in an hour or so!
The hospital employee gets a paging call and so he steps over to the nearest phone. Anand seizes that opportunity and begs Kasturi
Anand : Kas.............please mujhe le chalo yahaan seh! 😭 😭 Meraa dum ghut rahaa hai. Mei.......I cannot take this anymore!! Please.....PLEASE!!!
He fumbles for his medication that he was supposed to take whenever he had an anxiety attack! Kasturi's heart goes out for him and she moves to get a glass of water for him. Anand also turns to accompany her. The victim's wife misinterprets their movement and thinking that they are leaving, she screams them to stop! Kasturi and Anand stop and turn to look at her.
She charges at them and hisses : Kahin nahi jaane doongi tumhe!!! Tumne jo kiyaa uski bharpaayi karni hogi tumhe!!!
Kasturi tries to calm her down and says : Hum kahin nahi jaa rahe hai, maam! Bas paani peene jaa rahe the..........please meraa yakeen maaniye!
The woman looks at Kasturi and Anand with contempt and disgust!!
She yells : Nahi! Mei tumhaara yakeen nahi karungi!! Tum jaise rais-zaadon ko dekh dekh kar mei tang aa gayi hun!!! 😡 😡 I am sick of you people who don't seem to have any respect for a common man's life or property! You will pay for what you did!!! 🤢 I will make sure you do!! 😡 😡
Anand suddenly feels suffocated with her tight grip on his arm. He struggles to free his arm but she tightens her grip!
Seeing Anand getting very restless, Kasturi tells the woman : Dekhiye maam! He has to take medication...bahut zaroori hai ke yeh dawaai le! Please baat samajhne ki koshish keejiye! 😔
Kasturi tries to pacify the woman but to no avail! The woman does not budge!! Suddenly Anand becomes hyper and he starts yelling.........."Let me go, you b***h....Let me go 🤬!!!" He tries to push her and get his hand out of her iron-like grip! Both Kasturi and that woman are shocked at his language! 😲 Kasturi tries to apologize on Anand's behalf 😕 but the woman is in no mood to listen!! She looses it 😡 😡 and slaps Anand hard, very hard!
The woman catches his collar and threatens him : Kya bolaa tune? 😡 Kya bolaa??? 😡 Phir seh bol!! Yahi sikhaaya tujhe ter maa-baap neh? Yahi sikhaaya tujhe tere school mei, college mei??? 😡 😡
Kasturi desperatley tries to bring the situation under control! She knows Anand's situation was turning to the worst. She runs forward and screams for help. 😒 And she turns back and goes to Anand. She tries to separate that woman and yells at her
Kasturi : Leave him........please leave him! 😡 Samajhne ki koshish keejiye!! Leave him!!!! 😡
They struggle and finally Kasturi pushes the woman away and screams : Aap paagal ho gayi hai kya???? .....STOP IT!!! ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND!!!! HOW STUPID CAN YOU GET???? 😡 .
"KASTURI".........Kasturi hears Robbie call her name! She is so relieved to hear him, this was really getting out of hand! Everyone turns to look at him! He was coming towards them taking long strides. He reaches them and he yanks Kasturi away from the woman and thunders......."How dare you talk to her like that???? WOH MERI MAA HAI...........SHE IS MY MOTHER!!!!
Kasturi stares dumbfounded 😲 😲 😲 😲 at his furious face and angry tone!! 😡 😡 He was so mad!!! She turns to look at Devika who herself was staring at Robbie, shocked, relieved, tired and completely broken!!! 😲 😲 😭
