The actors of the show are keeping themselves busy doing other shows so the production house has to make do with cheat shots all the time. Despite having a very strong technical department a host of causes are contributing to the serial's underperformance. Says a source, "Ekta is very upset with TRPs of Kasturi. A lot of cheat shots are being used for the show. The storyline is going haywire and the actors are involved in other projects of their own. Jatin is doing Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki and Karan Patel is doing Nach Baliye 3. There is no proper creative team to take the right decisions at the right time. Most of the unit members and artists have lost their interest in the show. The soap has the best of technicians in the industry, but the show is suffering due to the lead actors backing out. Initially it was entirely copying other popular soap Kahin Toh Hoga but were unable to carry the act till the end. The TRP's which were 4 earlier and is now 2.97. " Karan Patel When contacted, Nivedita Basu said, "Karan has been doing cheat shots ever since he's is participating in Nach Baliye. Jatin however, manages his time somehow. In this situation, it is pretty normal for the TRPs to fall. The cricket matches and raksha bandhan have contributed to further deterioration. In fact, the TRP's of most of the 8-12 shows have gone down in the recent past." Says Karan Patel from Kasturi, " I don't know about the cheat shots. They might have happened once in a while. The TRPs are very unpredictable. The viewers appreciate some aspects of the story. I have been concentrating on Nach Baliye so I hardly had the time to follow the TRPs or the telecast of the show." When contacted director Gary Bhinder said, "We are trying our level best now to get the TRPs back."

tht seems sooo true...the best technicians are the kasturi team. i love their creativity..the begining epis are perfect examples..
and can anyone explain what a cheat shot is ?

I was laughing very hard wen they said tat both the technicians and actors lost interest in the show 🤣 🤣 🤣 ..

If the actors and creatives themselves lost interest in the story then how can ekta expect the viewers to have interest 😆 😆 😆 ...

Finally, the truth is out tat no one is interested in the story 😕 .... Ektaaaa, change the story line ...

@Amu: I think cheat shot means a scene where they use body doubles for the actors

yeah , no body double , but then if it is un avoidable you someone better 😉 . as far as falling TRPs i guess it has to do with the storyline and c riticket 😃 , hope TRPs will shoot up with attitude reloaded robbie, bringing old kasturi and bringing Roka together ASAP.
when the show started i was really thinking that this serial has all the ingredients to become no1. seems it got missed somewhere in the middle. 😕

oh. thanchu krish. i dont remember any robbie scenes from the back or from a distance... 😕

U dont??? 😆... Body double for Robbie was used in the scene where Kasturi gives bhashan to Robbie thinking tat he made palaash not to sing in their concert by bribing him... There u can find tat its not Robbie but someone else becos the body double had a big empty ground on the back of his head😆 [I meant tat the body double was bald at the back😆]

Thanks for sharing the article Roshni!!😛 I agree, the storyline is going haywire, it needs to be smooth-ened out!!

And the technicians, so true, their truly marvelous and they've shown their marvel in previous episodes..(just I wish they'd use less of the red/green/yellow effects and such loud sound effects)

Also agree with you Krishi, if they've lost interest, how can some portion of us viewers develop interest either?

Finally..an article that's speaking what's been on most of the viewers minds recently.. I agree with Krishi completely.. A drama where lead actors dont have much time to contribute, whose story line resembles other dramas of the past and is literally dragging and has no spunk in it anymore, a drama where the lead heroin does nothing but cry or give lectures ... Dude.. C'mon... Competition from rival dramas is increasing as their storylines are progressing but this drama, which used to be my favorite drama a couple of months back, is simply biting the dust these days... Fix the storyline first, get the actors to organize their time properly and then perhaps we can get back to the place where we were before.. Yes, cricket matches and other cultural festivals take away from TRPs but dude, I've been watching this happen for the past 2 months now.. And there's nothing innovative or new to offer at the time unfortunately..
