PART - 30
Everyone in the house is excited and they want to hold a huge reception. They are all discussing this when Devika suddenly says
Devika : Iss ghar ke donon ladhkon ne mandir mei shaadi karli. Hum sab toh shaadi mei shareek bhi nahi ho sake. Mujhe lagtaa hai, in donon ko phir se shaadi karni chahiye, hamaare liye.
Everyone love the idea except Raunak. He is like
Raunak : Kya!! Shaadi ke do saal baad phir se shaadi!!! This is silly!
Devika : Raunak, tum Nandini ke iklaute bete ho, unke bhi toh koi armaan honge. Maan jao.
Finally everyone convinces Raunak and he also agrees. Immediately plans are made to hold RK and RN marriage ceremonies in the morning which would be strictly only for family members and a grand reception in the evening for RK where everyone will be invited. The festivities will be fixed for the coming Sunday. But Devika will notice that Kasturi is sad about her family not being able to accept Robbie.
The day passes by quickly with everybody starting to make arrangements for the upcoming festivities. Robbie will be desperate to spend some alone time with Kasturi. He does not get to see her much the whole of that day, all the women were sitting together the whole day and planning stuff. After dinner, Robbie will catch Kasturi's eye and signal her to bid good night to the rest, so they can retire for the night. Divya notices this and suddenly says
Divya : Mom, jab tak in donon ki phir se shaadi nahi ho jaati, donon bhabhi mere kamre me so jaayengi!
Robbie (almost yells) : WHAT!! ( 😆 😆 )
Everybody turns to look at him. He feels a bit embarrassed and trying to compose himself says
Robbie : Mera matlab hai...mujhe lag rahaa tha kyun Divya ko trouble ho.
Divya (with a twinkle in her eyes) : Koi trouble nahi. I would in fact love it! Isi bahaane, Kasturi kaa hamaare saath bonding bhi ho jaayega.
Devika : I think it is a very good idea.
Robbie : Lekin tum donon toh already dost ho, aur abhi poori zindagi padhi hai 'bond' hone ke liye!
Divya : Haan, lekin woh Neela bhabhi ko toh nahi jaanti hai na.. this will help them to get to know each other.
Robbie : Kya tune thekha le rakha hai, ghar mei sabki 'bonding' karaane kaa?
Robbie is desperate to get this plan cancelled and everyone is enjoying his discomfort including Kasturi!!!
Dushyant : Arre, saaf saaf kyun nahi kehta, Kasturi ke bagaair neend nahi aayegi??
Kasturi turns a deep red.
Robbie (embarrassed) : Arre nahi Uncle, aisi baat nahi hai!
Dushyant : Toh kya baat hai?
Robbie : Mujhe lag rahaa tha, Kasturi nayi nayi aayi hai ghar mei, usse sahaare ki zaroorat hai. Usse sambhalne ke liye koi chahiye na.
Divya : Mei acchi tarah jaanti hun bhaiyya aap kis "sahaare" ki baat kar rahe hai (and winks at him). Don't worry, hum sab hai na, hum sambhal lenge!!
Robbie (under his breath) : Divya ki bacchi.......
Divya (looking innocently at Robbie) : Kuch kahaa, aapne?
Nandini : Arre, kyun na Kasturi se pooch liya jaaye ke woh kya karna chahti hai?
Kasturi looks at Robbie. Immediately Robbie signals her through his eyes to not accept the proposition. He is begging her "Please say NO"!!!! Kasturi smiles and says
Kasturi : Mujhe Divya kaa idea accha lagaa.
Robbie closes his eyes with frustration and he gives Kasturi a 'Dekh loonga tumhe, baad mei" look. Kasturi cannot help but smile and Divya yells happily
Divya : Yeh hui na baat!!!
They all retire for the night. Robbie is sitting in his room, alone and mad at Kasturi. He is missing her like hell. Finally in frustration he goes to bed. Kasturi, Divya and Neela keep talking way past midnight, thorougly enjoying themselves and finally go to sleep.
Next day is Monday and Kasturi gets up early to go to work. She gets ready and goes downstairs to get a cup of coffee. Dushyant and Puru will be at the dining table eating their breakfast. She takes their blessings and goes into the kitchen. Ramu is in the kitchen. She wishes him. He offers to make her coffee, but she declines politely saying she will make her own. While she is making coffee, Robbie slides into the kitchen.
Robbie : Hello Ramu!
He is wishing Ramu but is looking at Kasturi. Kasturi looks up. Their eyes meet. She had missed him too. She smiles.
Ramu : Robbie baaba, aap aur kitchen mei?
Robbie : Haan, socha aaj mei bhi apni coffee khud banaa loonga.
And he goes and stands next to Kasturi.
Kasturi (looking at him) : Mei banaa deti hun, aapke liye.
And she starts making coffee.
Robbie (whispers) : Neend acchi aai?
Kasturi (softly) : Ekdum badhiya!
Robbie is shocked : Accha, toh tumne miss nahi kiyaa mujhe?
Kasturi : Bilkul nahi. (and smiles at him radiantly)
Robbie is mad. He is about to reach for her when she pushes his hand away and reminds him that Ramu is in the room. Robbie looks around for a vessel and quickly empties the sugar jar into the vessel and hides the vessel and then says loudly
Robbie : Ramu, shakkar toh khatam ho gayi hai.
Ramu (surprised) : Arre, aise kaise khatam ho gayi?
Kasturi looks at Robbie in disbelief and shock. Ramu looks at the jar and is surprised that it is empty. He goes into the store room to get a new packet muttering to himself and in a flash Robbie grabs both hands of Kasturi and holds her hands behind her
Robbie : Ab kaho, miss kiyaa ki nahi?
Kasturi (struggling to loosen her hands from his grip) : Nahi kiyaa.
Robbie pulls her close still holding her hands behind her. There bodies are completely against each other and Kasturi gets worried that any moment Ramu kaaka might come into the kitchen. But Kasturi does not want to give in.
Robbie : Ab? miss kiyaa ki nahi?
Kasturi (smiling) : Thoda bhi nahi!
A determined look comes into Robbie's eyes and he says
Robbie : Ab toh, sach ugalvaakar rahunga.
And he starts to bend to kiss her. Kasturi struggles, but he is too strong for her.
Kasturi : Please....baahar aap ke pitaji aur uncle baithe hai........Ramu kaaka aa jaayenge....
But Robbie is not stopping, till she finally gives in
Kasturi : OK, OK!! Kiyaa, kiyaa, kiyaa, bahut miss kiyaa!!!
Robbie loosens his grip a little but says
Robbie : Too late Kasturi Sabharwal, ab tumhe jhoot bolne ki sazaa milegi!!
And smiles at her.
Kasturi : Nahi, please...yahaan kisi bhi waqt koi bhi aa sakta hai!!!
But Robbie is not even listening to her. He is just about to kiss her when they hear a voice from behind
"Get a room, guys"
RK jump and become separate and turn to see who it is!! It is Neela. She has a wide smile on her face and winks at them. Kasturi has gone red. She is so embarrassed that she quickly turns away to make the coffee. Robbie is very flustered and says
Robbie : Impeccable timing, Neela!!!!
Neela (bowing and grinning) : Always at your service!!!
He walks out of the kitchen glaring at Neela while Ramu kaaka comes in with the sugar. The day will pass by uneventfully. That night too Robbie does not get a chance to spend with Kasturi.
Meanwhile, first thing Monday morning, JP will search for another job and quit the job at Sameer's!!!!!! Sameer is shocked! He tries to convince JP a lot but in vain. Finally he calls up Kaushalya and gives her the news. Kaushalya is shocked too!!!! And she realizes that JP has not forgiven Robbie and feels extremely sad that Kasturi can never come to their house again with the stand that JP is maintaining.
On Tuesday Kasturi applies for leave for 10 days at work. That night, Robbie, Raunak, Neela, Kasturi and Divya are sitting in Divya's room chilling out and catching up. Soon it will be time to sleep. But Robbie does not want to leave Kasturi. Neela and Divya will be asking him to leave as they have to sleep. Robbie will break into some impromptu shayari
Jaalimon ki duniya hai! Kya kare, koi kya kare???
(Looking at K who is blushing a deep red)
Barson se taras rahe the, ek hawaa ke jhonke ke liye,
Sadiyon se tadap rahe the, ek boond paani ke liye,
Arse se bhatak rahe the, manzil ki khoj mei,
Hamesha se dhoondh rahe the, kinaare ko mauj mei,
Ab yeh haal hai,
(glaring at Divya and Neela)
Hawaa chal rahi hai, lekin saanse hai bandhan mei,
Manzil hai saamne, par kaante bhichi hai raah mei,
Nadiya hai paas mei, lekin hai zaalimon ke gher mei,
Kinaara hai saamne, lekin bediyaan hai paanv mei,
Kya kare, koi kya kare?
Everyone will start clapping and Raunak will say
Raunak (winking) : Robbie, kya dard tha yaar, teri shayari mei!!! Sach kehta hai tu, koi kya kar sakta hai?
Divya : Mei bataati hun, koi kya kar sakta hai!!! Koi jaake apne room mei so sakta hai, Koi hame yahaan sone de sakta hai!!
She gets up and starts dragging Robbie and Raunak out of the room while Kasturi and Neela are laughing.
Kasturi : Tehro Divya, mei bhi tumhaari madad karti hun!
She holds R's hand and while pushing him out of the room, slips a piece of paper into his hand. R's expression will not undergo any change! He and Raunak will go to their respective rooms. As soon as he reaches his room, Robbie will check the paper "11.30 PM. jaagte rahiye gaa!" will be written on the paper. A broad smile will spread on his face. K will act as if she has slept immediately. Divya and Neela talk for a while and they too drift into sleep. Robbie will be waiting. It seems like time is not moving at all!! He will put on some beautiful soothing music and will be checking the time every 2 minutes. After what seems like an eternity, he will hear a soft knock on his door. In a flash he opens the door. Kasturi is standing out and Robbie quickly pulls her in and then closes and locks the door.
He turns to look at her. Suddenly Kasturi moves towards him and Robbie is ready for her. They hug real hard!! The separation was miserable for both of them. It felt like their souls were being tortured. And they feel the pain subside in this embrace. But they will feel that even this proximity of their bodies is not enough!!!! Something more is needed, the need to become one body and one soul!!! But they cannot explain this feeling in words, it is just something that can be only felt!!!
Suddenly K turns away from him. Robbie turns her back. Her face is clouded.
Kasturi : Mei apne gharwaalon ki taraf se aapse maafi maangna chahti hun.
Robbie : Please Kasturi, tumhe kisi cheez ke liye mujhse maafi maangne ki zaroorat nahi. Mujhe unse koi shikaayat nahi. Kasturi (looking with wonder) : Aap, itnaa pyaar karte hai mujhse?
Robbie (taking her in his arms) : Iss sawaal ka jawaab chahiye tumhe?

He looks into her eyes. K is completely lost in his eyes and when she comes to her senses, she is lying on the bed. Robbie will start feeling Kasturi's body with his hands and invoking such sensations that it gets very diffcult for her to control herself!!! Together, they both reach the depths of emotions and reach the heights of ecstasy!!! Nobody has discovered love the way they do!! And they melt into each other, promising that this union will never end!!! And finally Kasturi will drift to sleep surrounded by his strong arms, while Robbie lies there looking at her and dreaming about their beautiful future.

Devika is restless. Everytime she looks at Kasturi and Robbie, all her actions flash in front of her eyes. It will be pure torture! She is repenting terribly for her deeds and wants an outlet for her pain. She wants to tell her truth out to RK. but before that she will decide to make an effort and reconcile JP. One day she gets ready to go to JP's house and Nandini who does not want her to go alone to Chawla's house (considering the animosity), also joins her. They both reach Chawla house and meet JP and Kaushalya. While Nandini and Kaushalya talk in the hall, Devika and JP go into a room as Devika wants to talk only to him. JP is shocked to see Devika's appearance. Devika has lost a lot of weight, she looked frail,weak and very tired.
Devika : Chawla saab, aaj mei aapke saamne kuch aise raaz kholne aayi hun, jis se mujhe yeh umeed hai ke, aap Robbie ko maaf karenge. Mei aur iss bojh ke saath jee nahi sakti hun!! Aap sab ko lag rahaa hai ke Robbie ne Kasturi ko dhoka diyaa, uski zindagi ke saath khela, lekin saccahi yeh hai.......yeh hai ke.....ke maine un donon ki zindagiyon ke saath khela!!!
JP is surprised.
Devika : Mei apne aap ko bhagwaan samajh baithi. Mei kabhi nahi chahti thi ki Kasturi meri ghar ke bahoo bane. Mujhe Kasturi, Robbie ke liye pasand nahi thi! Mei Robbie ki shaadi Ishita se karnaa chahti thi. Aur isslilye mai un donon ko alag karne lagi....................
She will tell JP everything, all that she had done. JP will be very shocked and will not know what to answer!!!! Finally Devika will say
Devika : Yeh sab aapko bataakar mann halka sa mehsoos ho rahaa hai!! Please, Robbie ko maaf kar deejiye. Uski ek hi galti hai, ke woh aapki beti se hadd se zyaada pyaar karta hai! Agar aap usse maaf kar sake toh agle Sunday unki shaadi aur reception ke liye zaroor aaiyegaa. And she leaves the invitation card on his desk. JP does not respond. Devika looks at him a final time and leaves. Outside Nandini has also given a card to Dadaji and Beeji and they say goodbye to all and leave.
In the car, Nandini will notice that Devika is more relaxed, but very sad. Nandini can see the thoughts that are floating in Devika's brain.
Nandini : Bhabhi, ab aapka praayschit ho gayaa hai. Ab iss baat ko bhool jaiye.
Devika looks at her shocked. How did Nandini know?
Nandini : Aapke aur JP saahab ke beech kya baatein hui, yeh mei nahi jaanti, lekin mujhe hamesha se yeh andaaza tha ki, Robbie aur Kasturi ke alag hone mei aapkaa hi haath hai. Mei jaanti thi ki aap Kasturi ko Robbie ke liye nahi pasand karti thi.
Devika is still looking at her shocked.
Nandini : Aur mei yeh bhi jaanti hun ke aap Robbie ko yeh sab bataana chahti hai. Lekin mere khayaal se aapko yeh sab bhoola denaa chahiye. Robbie ko kuch bataane ki zaroorat nahi!!!! Woh aapko poojtaa hai. Aap khaamakha usse bataa ke, usse dard pahunchayegi. Jo ho gayaa, so ho gayaa. Aapka praayshchit usse bataane mei nahi, zindagi bhar usse aur Kasturi ko dher saara pyaar dene mei hai. Meri maaniye aur yeh baat yahin pe bhool jaiye!
Tears fill Devika's eyes!!! This woman who had stopped crying long ago, again cries today!!! And while Devika is letting all the guilt and pain overflow in the form of tears, Nandini holds her hand and gives support, forming an unbreakable bond of friendship and sisterhood that is going to remain till they die!!
