such an intense romantic scene ;alka chachi to alka chachi hai.;i luved d way R & K realised dat both were at fault plus R realising even he suspected kas at one pt of time .d realisation dat dey cant stay away 4m oneanother even 4 20 minutes & its effect was so beautifully expressed . PART - 28

RK are lying on the floor, spent, next to each other, facing each other reminiscing what just happened. It was sudden, unexpected but very passionate and wonderful!!!. They are very surprised at what happened but know they will always remember those beautiful moments. R's arm is spread out and K is using it as a pillow. They have covered themselves with K's dupatta/chunni. K has her eyes closed and she is relaxed while Robbie is looking at her with a smile on his face. The cool breeze blowing through the window is tossing K's hair around and Robbie is trying to remove strands of hair from her face so he can have an uninhibited view of her lovely face.
K (her eyes still closed) : Kab tak dekhenge aap yun mujhe?
R : jab tak jee nahi bharta!
K : aur jee kab bharega??
R (with a grin) : Kabhi nahi!
K (opening her eyes) : That is exactly my point! Thank you!
R leans over to give her a kiss but K stops him.
K : Please, ab phir se shuru mat ho jaiye!
Suddenly K's expression changes and her eyes become clouded
K : Toh, aapko lagtaa hai, aapki maa mujhe sweekar nahi karegi?
R : Kasturi! yeh sawaal tum mujhse teesri baar pooch rahi ho! Yeh ghar maine issliye khareeda, ki agar hame kabhi alone time chahiye toh yahaan aa sakte hai. Mujhe nahi lagtaa Mom ko aitraaz hoga. Don't you remember unhone hi toh sabse pehle hamaare pyaar ko sweekar kiyaa tha? In fact, mujhe tumhaare bauji ki zyaada fikr hai, shaayad woh hamaari shaadi kabhi accept nahi kare.
K becomes silent. She knows Robbie is right. Robbie cannot stand to see her in pain and so he pulls her even closer to him and says
R : Don't worry sweetheart, everything will be fine! Mei bhi yahi chahta hun ke hame sabka aashirwaad mile. Lekin koi maane ya na maane, accept kare ya na kare, mei apni zindagi ki yeh khushi kabhi door nahi hone doonga.

The determined look on his face makes K feel safe. But she cannot remove the sinking feeling in her stomach whenever she thinks about her dadaji and bauji's reactions!! The door bell rings. R gets up, puts his clothes on and goes to answer the door. He had ordered some chinese for lunch as they were in no mood to go out. K also quickly puts her clothes on and when Robbie comes back with the food they sit down to eat their lunch, cross-legged in front of each other.
R : Bahut bhook lagi hai!! Bhook, se yaad aaya, yeh Kripa, arre wohi jiski beti ko tum meri beti banaane jaa rahi thi....... K throws a plastic fork at him in mock anger.
R : .........yeh, bachpan mei hamesha bhooki rehti thi aur har roz meraa lunch kha leti thi! Aur jab mei uss se poochta toh mujhe bahut maarti thi!! School mei meine, teacher se zyaada isske haath se maar khaaya hai.
They laugh. They enjoy their lunch, eating and conversing. They finish lunch and sit down next to each other to enjoy some ice cream. Khaate khaate Kasturi ke lips par thoda ice cream lag jaata hai.Suddenly Robbie leans over and licks that icecream off very slowly!!! This sudden act of Robbie sends Kasturi's heart racing!! Robbie's mouth lingers there a while and then he starts kissing her. Slowly at first and then starts to get intense. They both get very hot. The ice-cream is out if his hand and he reaches across to remove the ice cream from Kasturi's hands too when K comes to her senses and pushes him away.
K : Kya kar rahe hai aap?
R : Ek bhook mit gayi, doosri mitaa rahaa hun!
K : Ekdum besharam hai!!! Pataa hai time kya hua hai? Chaar baj gaye hai. Ab mujhe jaana hoga.
R : Please....Kasturi.....
K (keeps him at bay with her hand) : Nahi! Chup-chaap ice cream khaa leejiye.
R starts to eat his ice cream with a sullen look on his face. Kasturi looks at him and cannot help but laugh.
K : Kaise bacchon ki tarah, muh banaaye baithe hai.
She leans over, gives him a kiss on his cheek and says
K : Please, meri problem bhi toh samajhiye!
R sighs deeply, smiles and says
R : Theek hai, chalo.
They finish ice cream, he drops her off at her place and leaves.

That week Tanu and Navneet finish their final exams. Its like a load of their chests!! Tanu, Navneet, Sameer and Kikoo decide to go out for an outing one day. They all go out for a movie and Navneet sits in a seat that is furthest from Sameer. Sameer feels very disappointed. They all go to a dhabha afterwards for dinner and start talking. Tanu has finished her final year of Fashion designing degree and also wants to become a fashion-designer like Sameer.
Tanu : Aisa lag raha tha jaise mei zindagi bhar padhti hi rahungi!!! Thank God its over!
Sameer : Ab kya plans hai aage ke?
Tanu : Pehle naukri! Sameer, tumhaare kuch contacts hai toh mujhe do na, please. Mei un sabko apnaa resume bejhna chahti hun.
Sameer : Sure, zaroor doonga. Waise kuch designs hai kya tumhaare paas? Kuch attempt kiyaa tumne?
Tanu : Haan. Tumhaare jitna bhadiya toh nahi, lekin kuch drawings hai mere paas.
Sameer : Ek baar dekhna chahunga unhe.
Tanu : Sure!!! That will be great. Mei kal hi laungi tumhaare paas. Bas, ek break mil jaaye!!! Lekin meraa ultimate dream is FRANCE!!
Sameer : France?
Kikoo and Navneet look at each other - "phir shuru ho gayi yeh, france ke baare mei" look and roll their eyes .
Tanu : Haan! Meraa dream hai ke mei France mei apni designs kaa ek boutique kholu! You see, mei western designs India mei nahi, hamare Indian designs ko west mei popular karnaa chahti hun. Mei un logon ko hamaare fabrics, patterns, embroidery etc parichay karaana chahti hun!
Sameer : Excellent idea, Tanu!! I love it.
Kikoo : Arre Sameer, isse aur chane ke jhaad peh mat chadha yaar!! Aur Tanu beta, France toh door ki baat hai, pehle dilli mei naukri dhoondh ke bataa!
Navneet : Kikoo bhaiyya, naukri karni toh door ki baat hai! Tanu, pehle apne yeh naukri ke irrade, bauji ko bataakar dikha!!! Woh toh results aate hi teri shaadi karaa denge!!
Tanu (making a face) : "Shaadi karaadenge", huh!!! Tune mujhe Kasturi di samajh rakha hai kya? Woh toh di thi, jo bauji ke aage sar jhukaakar, saath saal ke bhuddhe se bhi shaadi karne ke liye, tayyaar ho gayi! Mei yeh apne saath kabhi nahi hone doongi!! Mei bauji kaa bahut sammaan karti hun, lekin isska yeh matlab nahi ki agar woh galat hai, toh bhi mei chup-chaap unki baat maan jaungi.
Everyone becomes quite, they are thinking about Kasturi. Suddenly Navneet says
Navneet : I wish Kasturi di, Robbie se shaadi kar leti hai!
Tanu is shocked
Tanu : Kya bak rahi hai?
Sameer : I agree with Navneet.
Kikoo : Mai bhi.
Tanu stares at all of them.
Sameer : Tu hi soch, Tanu. Woh tumhaari didi se ab bhi bahut pyaar karte hai. Aur tumhaari didi ke liye kuch bhi karne ke liye tayaar hai.
Kikoo : Aur mujhe lagtaa hai, Kasturi bhi Robbie se pyaar karti hai. Woh sirf apne ghusse ko nafrat samajh rahi hai.
Navneet : Aur mujhe lagtaa hai, Robbie ko maaf kar dena chahiye. Unhone apni galti sudharne ki bahut koshish ki hai.
Tanu is thinking and understands their point.
Tanu : Lekin hamaare sochne aur samajhne se kya hoga? Hoga toh wahi jo bauji aur dadaji chahte hai, kyonki di, kabhi unke khilaaf nahi jaayegi!
The mood has suddenly become solemn and so Sameer will change the topic.
Sameer : Accha Navneet, tum kaun sa profession choose karnaa chahti ho?
Navneet : Mei? Mei Sports journalist bananaa chahti hun.
Sameer : Wow! That is so novel! Mujhe nahi lagtaa meine India mei koi woman sports-write ko dekha hai.
Navneet (with a grin) : Jab mei ban jaungi, toh dekhoge!
Sameer and Navneet continue talking while Kikoo and Tanu go to get more food. Sameer is amazed with Navneet. He finds her firm, determined and very intelligent. He has never come across any girl so opiniated and passionate about the things she loves. He is very impressed by her and it is very obvious to Navneet that he is falling for her! But she acts as if she is unaware of his feelings.
They all have a great time and finally head home.

In Girish's house

One evening, when Girish comes back from work he hears his mother talking to Pooja on the phone. Pooja is calling her mother to inform that the Chawlas are already planning about the Girish-Kasturi wedding and that she is worried at all this.
Pooja's Mom : Arre tu fikr mat kar Pooja, ain waqt par Girish unhe aisa dhokha dega, ke unke pairon tale zameen khisak jaayegi!!! Mei toh bas uss din ka intezaar kar rahi hun. Chawla saab ka muh dekhne laayak hoga!
And she laughs evilly. Girish is looking at his mom and turns away shaking his head. He thinks "Yeh dono, kabhi nahi sudharenge!! Agar uss din mei jhoot bolkar, maa ko sambhalta nahi, toh ab tak toh yeh Kasturi ke zindagi mei hungaama machaa deti! Jab tak Kasturi aur Robbie ki sacchai baahar nahi aati, mujhe yeh naatak khelte rehna padega. Hopefully, Kasturi jaldi settle ho jaayegi.

The week passes uneventfully for RK. And the next week is the same. Devika is recovering fast. Nandini spends a lot of time taking care of Devika and looking after her comfort. Devika notices all this and feels bad about all the time she hated Nandini.

RK spend the whole next week shopping for their new home. They are very excited at the thought of setting up home together. On Saturday, R will pickup K from work and they will go to check out some furniture. While they are looking at stuff, somebody hits Robbie squarely on his back saying
The person : YO!!! What's up, dog?
Robbie and Kasturi turn to see. Robbie smiles and says
R : Kunal!!!! Tu!!!
They embrace each other
R : Kab aaya US se?
Kunal : Bas do din hue. Tujhe phone karne hi waala tha, itne mei tu yahaan mil gayaa! Bro, dhoom machaaya tere album ne US mei! You smacked it!!
R : Thanks! (turning towards K). Uss album ki inspiration yeh thi.
Kunal (whistles) : Ooooh! Wow!!!
And extends his hand towards Kasturi eyeing her. Kasturi feels very uncomfortable. She ignores his hand and says 'Namaste' folding her hands.
Kunal (looking at her mangalsutra) : Bro, kya ho gayaa hai tujhe? Delhi mei kya koi single ladki nahi bachi jo tu married ones se chakkar chala rahaa hai?? But I must hand it to you Robs, she is HOT, man!!!!! Damn HOT!!! (and winks at Robbie)
Kasturi looks st him disgusted and Robbie's blood has started to boil.
R (very sharply) : Apni zabaan sambhal, Kunal!!! Yeh meri.......
Kunal (cutting him) : Oh NO Bro!!! Mei abhi ki baat nahi kar rahaa hun. Jab tu chodh deh, tab mujhe bataa denaa. You know, mujhe chodhi hui cheez se koi problem nahi hai, specially agar cheez aisi ho toh!!!
Kasturi looks at him horrified when Robbie grabs Kunal's collar very roughly and hisses : Shut your filthy mouth!!!! Yeh meri patni hai. She is my WIFE!!!!! Ek aur lafz muh se nikaala toh zubaan kheench ke haath me rakh doonga!!!!
Kasturi quickly grabs R's arm to remind him that they are in a public palce. Robbie slowly lets go of Kunal and says dangerously
R : Thodi der pehle tak mai tujhe apnaa dost samajhta tha, issiliye chod rahaa hun. Phir kabhi mere saamne mat aana!
He then grabs Kasturi's arm and walks out of the store. He is mad with anger and so is walking at a very fast pace to the car. He is thinking till a few months ago I was one of them. Both my mind and my tongue were just as filthy as Kunal's. But today I could not tolerate it for one second!! He does not realize that he is almost dragging Kasturi along. Unable to keep up with his pace anymore, kasturi calls out.
K : Suniye, Suniye na!
Robbie comes back to his senses and stops.
R : Oh sorry Kasturi!! tumhe dard ho rahaa hai kya (massaging her hand)??
K : Nahi. Lekin ab aap apnaa ghussa thook dee jiye.
R (feeling guilty) : Sorry, meri wajah se aaj tumhe itni ghatiya baatein sun ni padhi.
K : Please, bhool jaiye uss baat ko. Aisi baatien bhoolne ke laayak hi hoti hai.
They sit in the car and Robbie drives her home. He seems pre-occupied the whole time. When Kasturi is about to step out, R says
R : Kasturi, mei kal subah nau baje aa rahaa hun tumhaare bauji se milne.
Kasturi looks at him shocked.
R : Ab waqt aa gayaa hai sach bataane kaa. Kuch bhi ho jaaye, tum tayyaar ho na mere saath aane ke liye?
K shakes her head in the affirmative. R leans over and kisses her softly
R : I love you.
K replies back with her eyes and walks out.
