Dysfunctional Family or What????

I don't understand why Purshotam hasn't shown up yet to find out about what's going on with the shagun?? Wasn't he supposed to go with Devika and the gang to Kasturi's house with the shagun? If so, why isn't he around at this time to see what is going on and to find out what is going on. I know that Devika had kept him away from his kids but he had recently warned her that if she played with this happiness than he would make her pay. So where is he to even question what has happened and why Robbie is behaving like is old selfish, self-centered, egoistic self (actually, a clone of his mom)???

They appear to be a totally dysfunctional family, especially since no one even questions where Divya is when they are all getting ready to go to Kasturi's house? If Divya is so worried about not letting her family find out about her pregnancy and subsequent abortion, then shouldn't they at least have an ounce of concern as to her whereabouts?? Instead, she conveniently appears out of no where to cause trouble every time things work out well for RK.

totally true, kya dysfuncational family hai yarr, mai tho thak gaya after reading today's recap. if somebody in my house goes missing like that, my mom and dad will have a heart attack. this house no one gives a dam, maybe they think she's sleeping in her room 😃 😃 😆

That is ekta, her family soaps drama preach about family values and close-knit unity when really they are the epitome of dysfunctional families.

they don't even know where their daughter is . alive or dead. she's in the hospital and no one has any clue about her being in a such serious condition. robbie called kasturi and her family small people, well, they at least know where their daughters r even though they're small but u big people don't have eyes to see ur sisters or daughters doing such a things. 😡 sorry if anyone found it offending but it's just my opinion.

In fact I am not sure if we can even call them a "family". They just seem to be a bunch of idiots living together in a house 😡 😡.
No one knows what the other is doing unless it affects them in some way. I am not so sure that the alcoholic Purushottam can do something even if he is in the house. Kuch karna hota to kab ka nahin kar deta??????? 😡

I had thot so...... Puru was just blabbering but he seriously can't do anything!!!!!!! Devika it seems she has only one child and thats Robbie she knows all abt his whereabouts but wat her daughter is doing she gives a damn!!!!! wat a mother!!!!! Father is too busy wid alcohol!!!!!!! Truly Herman_4u I completely agree wid u....... Robbie called Kasturi and her family small people but look at urself and ur family...... Mother has such a small heart that she can't c her own son's happiness........ Father is non-existant...... Daughter gets pregnant before marriage and puts everyone helpin her on stake and Robbie Sabarwal 😡 he himself used to sleep around....... And then their family is big and Kasturi's small........

Not offending personally. But why "big people don't have eyes to see ur sisters and daughters doing such things." Robbie sleeps with a different girl every night and why not question the eyes when they don't see what the son is doing? I find the question full of hypocrisy...even Divya used to say ki bhaiya ko nahin pata chalna chahiye nahin to he will kill me, kill her BF, but the same bhaiya used to sleep with a diff girl every night. So why should bhaiya have any problem with his sister sleeping with a consistent BF? Bhaiya is entitled to have a philosophy in life, but then bhaiya should have the insight that when it comes to his sister same philosophy applies to other guys. Sorry, to say, but sisters and daughters are always given different messages during their upbringing and brothers and sons are given no messages whatsoever. Maybe that is the real problem, but we try to solve it by treating sisters and daughters as gaye, bakri. Apart from that, as far as the Ekta show is concerened I don't think we need to waste our brians over it when the super soap brain is working on it.

Unfortunately, the super soap working on it, seems to have lost a few cells as there are so many loose ends sitting out there. It appears that the writers write in somewhat of a "tunnel" and can't see or remember the other story lines that they have left hanging outside that "tunnel" that they are in when writing for a particular character(s). I don't mean to offend anyone either, its just that I am frustrated with this whole hindi serial process and if EK is thinking about going to the US to do soaps, she better go there and study under some of the biggest names to see how story lines are supposed to be written and handled and as well how not to assume that the audience is as non-thinking as the characters the writers are writing for.
