Kasturi’s possible future scenarios..

So folks... Its pretty evident that Kasturi, being an Ekta serial, may involve a love triangle, misunderstandings, separation, marriages, divorces, etc etc.. I have little hopes, if any, that Ekta will be doing something REALLY DIFFERENT this time around as she is all about her business and TRPs.. However.. Picture this for a second...


Ms. Ekta said in her KWK interview that the trend to follow will always be what happens in the families of our masses... That she makes t.v. for the masses out there.. For what goes on with them in real life.. Well Ekta, in my humble opinion, love triangles and a pleothrs of marriages almost never happen in an ordinary man's life.. Most marriages are arranged marriages.. Or for those who dare, love marriages exist as well. So u wanna do something different this time? Here's an idea:

How about showing an ordinary girl like Kasturi stand up to her family and Robbie's family to fight for her love and get it for good this time? Families disowning both Robbie and Kasturi.. Them living together as man and wife and discovering more love for one another despite not having riches and luxuries of life at their disposal.. Robbie's transition from a life of a rockstar to that of an ordinary man for the sake of his love.... Kasturi's courage to stand up and speak for what she firmly believes in.. Her love for Robbie.. And perhaps their winning their families hearts eventually.. U guys remember that movie "Dil" (Aamir Khan, Madhuri.. One of my favorites..).. Well, sorta that story..After all, a lot of people elope these days without their families wishes and live a happy and content life.. So why not show some of that this time?

Perhaps my suggestion sounds boring but I am sure it will sizzle more than a love triangle or a misunderstanding b/w R-K.. At least, I tend to think so!! Wouldnt u enjoy seeing how a young couple overcomes all "usual" barriers of getting together and staying true to one another without separations or misunderstandings? How many of you wouldnt kill to see Robbie and Kasturi's encounter the usual barriers of a married life, the getting to know each other part, the aspect of dealing with each other's bad habits, the emotional and cute scenes of romance b/w them rather than a predictable and a "ghissi pitti hui" story that has been repeated a gazillion times before????

Alrite.. Dont like that.. How about the suggestion of following "Yeh Vaada Raha" concept but not totally.. Manipulating it according to the requirements of a daily soap n all.. No face changes but amnesia instead... Things like that rather than having a freakin love triangle or having Kasturi marry someone else... I would not be able to sit through if the same formula is repeated again... I have hopes from this serial.. I hope I am not being a dimwit here by doing so.. 😕

So what y'all think about my ideas? they can be worked upon, dont u think? Or if not, what other ideas are there that u can throw in the pot for R-K's future?? What would u like to see? After all, the serial is being made for the masses.. So why not voice out what we wanna see... Fair enough, right? 😉

As part of the mass audience, there are only so many misunderstandings, love triangles, saas-bahu insanity, separations and ex-love storylines that I can take. Once in a blue moon, I would like something different that has a bit of intrigue, romance, comedy, family craziness and of course, damn good music.

Aww…that sounds wonderful. You know how your family wants you to join Film School, I agree with them, go there and then, you can become this fabulous director and give me the above scenario.

The idea sounds fabulous and for Kasturi, the girl who has loved her family, lives for them and puts their happiness ahead of her own, how does she deal with the transformation that takes place within her to fight and still stay true to herself. I know that serials are all about the drama effect but how about internal drama. To me, that sort of drama can be riveting because there are so many layers to unfold. Meanwhile for Robbie, who has a vastly different childhood from Kasturi, the concept of love and family togetherness are a bit foreign to him and things pretty much get handed to him easily finds out, that those materialistic objects aren't what matters most. Sometimes in life, you have to fight for things and while it's a struggle, the endgame is pretty rewarding.

Btw, the expression "ghissi pitti hui", I have never heard it but I'm LMAO!

First of all, you're not being a dimwit because despite my better judgement, I have hopes for this serial. So if this ends up being the typical Ekta serial, we can hang, listen to Mitwa and be completely frustrated.

Regarding the Yeh Vaada Raha concept, reading that thread, someone mentioned that maybe Kasturi is not the one who has it, that it's Robbie which would be interesting. Let's just say for one moment that they actually do end up on this track, I don't know who I want to have the amnesia.

If Robbie, I see Kasturi letting go because she thinks it's for the best and somehow meant to be but something always pushes him to her even if he doesn't remember her. Could you imagine the drama of him always talking to her and not understanding the connection/pull he feels towards her? 😳

If Kasturi, I see Robbie trying all attempts for her to remember which would be fabulous to watch. Imagine the poor boy's emotional turmoil clearly shown in his eyes. *sighs*

I think your ideas are fabulous and they can be incorporated into the current track, it's just a matter of execution. Honestly at the end of day, as a viewer, I want a storyline that entertains, not makes me miserable because if that happens, I turn it off.

I don't think the Dil senerio is possible...Ekta won't let go of the Family aspect for her dramas. Sometimes i wonder if KYPH was really a Balaji show. 😆 I think thats the only one revolving completely around crazy love.

The "yeh wada raha" story is good. I'd watch it if it were the case. But as for predictions...like Spandana said..the predictions we all made before has not quite worked out so I have no more expectations. My motto is to enjoy it while it lasts cause eventually dey'll ruin this too

okay and the yeh vaada hua storyline is also not badm actually it is intesreting, the song is already there: "Tu tu hai wohi.... yeh vaada raha" so yeah it is a possibilitym but as u said no face off please, amnesia is better!

hey.. i absolutely love the Yeh Vaada Raha story line.. i am absolutely sick of watching stupid ekta story lines over and over again.. i mean she managed to ruin kashish-sujal, prem-mukti, laksh-kt, jai-bani, sagar-vidya.. i have way too many hopes attached with this serial to see robbie-kasturi messed up.. i just wish that ekta doesn't ruin this serial like she has all her previous ones.. this is one show i really wanna see do well..

Couldn't have said it better Sana -- if there are families that may have had multiple marriages/divorces then there also families who have lived happily married lives. If there are unbendable people, they are certainly people who can change from bad to good. I for one, don't mind twists and turns, given their captivating, different and still retain a charm in them...cause twists could have positive outcomes...and hopefully forget marriages and all they don't butcher the main characters...😭

But thinking about it -- a long term seperation may come much later than we expect considering the "competition" Kasturi has, there's SP, Indian Idol -- so perhaps we won't be dissapointed as much as we think, since BT care about trp's -- us the audience -- SP (even though I don't like the show) does have a slight edge to it that drives the audiences -- so Kasturi will have to retain it's charm and be able to give a tough competition.

Aah that's fabulous scenario Sana! Would definitely enjoy seeing R-K fight for their love, stand by each other and win everyone over to their side...Would like to see Robbie hold Kasturi's hand and tell the world, "she is my love, my life, and there is nothing you can do to change it"😳And when they are disowned by their respective families, would like to see Robbie experiencing a life different from the one he lived in and Kasturi trying to understand his past experiences...Would like to see him sing off roof tops for her expressing his love (how filmy I know -- but it's something that may do well on TV as well😳)

Sana -- I love this scenario the most -- was also thinking about this --as soon as yeh vaada raha started playing in Kasturi -- and it would be an interesting, captivating and loveble storyline, given that they treat it with care, compassion and smoothly. But yea, I definitely wouldn't want Kasturi's face to be changed, so following on your amnesia idea -- it would be lovely. I can just imagine, Kasturi loosing her memory and not being able to remember any memories that she spent with Robbie and then him trying many techniques to help get back her memory and then we can see Kasturi falling in love all over again/more like the love inside of her re-surfacing. And then I think, your elopement scenario could follow after this -- I mean it would then and can be termed as a "love story" as we will get to see a fully developed love story that is more relatable, loveble and dreamable😳, rather than mutiple marriages/divorces/high voltage family drana, accusations etc etc...

Before marriage though, I would like for these R-K scenes to develop furthermore and last longer than a couple of days --- this "hidden affair" is just so captivating/exciting to watch. 😳

well its for sure there wil be ups and downs in rk love story..nothing will be easy and as devika said robbie has got everything on a platter..thats why for once i will love to see him stand up by his mom and take the challenge to succeed on his own..

so sana the "dil"scenario seems good..devika disown robbie cos of his love for kasturi ..so he takes the challenge and fight for his love and make a success to his carrier..both rk together and we are very happy ..

second scenario..the "yeh vaada raha "one..

he is a rockstar so singing will be always a part of his life..devika not happy with robbie's choice of girl to marry..robbie go against devika and goes away to marry kasturi..but fate has something else for them and they met with accident..robbie is fine but kasturi due to her head injuries becomes amnesic..robbie comes to know of it and he will do his best to bring his kasturi memory back by his songs and other cute moments they had together.so a beautiful love story again and this time kasturi falling in love with robbie the rockstar.. 😳

lets wait and watch wat ekta gives us..but your two scenarios seems likely to become true.. 😊
