Well… where to start? All I can think or say is "whoa"… All due credit goes to Mr. Karan Patel and the director of the show. The episode was great in terms of content and general execution.
👏
Starting with Robbie… Fabulous. Karan is truly improving day by day. And to add to it, I must admit… that red and black combo was mighty garam in today's epi. The expressions were very sincere and the eyes… He has very emotive eyes. The way in which he looks at her was so dynamic. Even the tone and various points of emphasis in his speech, left an impact.
"Mein jaanta hoon is sawal ka janab dena tumhare liye bahut mushkil hai… Magar meri maano, tumhara ye jawab meri zindagi bahut asaan kar dega Kasturi." (I know this question is very difficult for you to answer… But please understand that your answer will make my life so much easier Kasturi.)
The above line was quite nice… eloquent and sensitive.
As for Subhangi (that's her name right?), contrary to opinion, I think she performed a little better today. However, in the first part where Karan is demanding and explanation for her sudden arrival, it seemed as though she was suffering from hiccups or something. Is it just me, or the dialogue writers just go blank when it comes to her? Her expressions and acting were ok, but much better than previous episodes. I think she is better at showing grief etc. rather than the awe or surprised emotions. On another note, her voice also sounded kind of weird when she was calling "sir"… Hmmm… She also looked lovely today.
On the general story, hmmm is it just me, or is everything happening too fast? I mean, Kasturi arriving, saving, and diving in his arms? I mean, it seems to me like it could be a dream and that's what I'm sure… but the execution of the scene makes me think otherwise. It was too good to be real… but the way the scene was played out… Meh… I think I'd better just wait until tomorrow.
Between, the scene where she falls into his arms… That is an example of "Khamoshiyon Ki Zubaan"… * ahem * (That's just me conveying something to a certain someone). I just wonder how the lead couple of a Balaji Production always end up crashing so close to a "cottage"… Hai re mitwa, kya kismat hai…
Coming to Robbie's mother. She claims to hold back her son from making the same mistake she had committed… the disgraced act of "falling in love" to be exact. She is so adamant on keeping her son career conscious and staying away from this disease… "Aisi ladki joh uski kamzori ban jaaye… Robbie ke liye mujhe aisi ladki nahin chahiye, jis ke liye wohe duniya bhula de…" Well, the mohtarma better be prepared for the shock of her life as her son has dipped into the untried waters… from which re-emergence is highly unlikely.
"Tum zindagi bachane ayi teeh na Kasturi? Magar zindagi bachi kahan teeh… Zindagi toh mujhe ab mili hai… Mein tumhe kabhi nahin chodoonga." (You came to save a life right Kasturi? But life had long slipped away… I have found it only now… I will never leave you).
Come what may now… the man will not leave his woman. Seeing the passionate rage Robbie encompasses, this seems to be a given… As per my understanding, one who hates with such conviction, loves with equal/more and compelling force~
Lets see how things come about.
Cheers,
dc
