Part 3:
Their lips were just inches apart. Kasturi's heart started racing faster and faster as he kept pulling her closer and closer to him, she was scared, she didn't know what to do, she could feel his warm breath on her face, she hadn't been in such a situation before, she closed her eyes, she wasn't sure what was going to happen next..................................................................................................................... As their lips were about to meet kasturi shouted 'SIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!'
Robbie suddenly woke up and saw kasturi just millimetres away from his face. It took him a few seconds to comprehend what was going on. He saw his hand around her wrist and waist and let go immediately and moved back slightly.
'Tum!' he said
All this time kasturi's eyes were closed. She slowly opened them and looked at Robbie.
'Tum yaha pe bhi?' har jaga poonch ja thi ho kya?' he said
Kasturi was still standing very close to him.
'Hello' he said clicking his fingers in front of her face 'mein tumse ke raha ho tum yaha kya kar rahi ho?'
Kasturi was still standing there dumbfounded. She didn't say a single word, nor moved a single muscle in her body, just constantly stared at robbie.
Robbie started getting conscious.
'Dekho' he said pointing at kasturi and quickly covering himself with the satin sheets as his chest was bare (but he had his pajamas on yaar 😉) 'tumhara iraada kya hai huh? Dekho main us kism ka aadmi nahi ho jaise tum samajh rahi ho! Main ke dehtha ho mere paas math aana nahi tho main chilaoga' he said getting more worried.
Finally kasturi came out of her shock. She moved back and said 'woh...' she was still quite scared after what had just happened. 'Woh mein aapko jagane ke liye ayi thi...woh devika ma'am ne...'
'aise?' exclaimed robbie
'nahi woh...'
'woh kya?'
'woh...woh...aap uth nahi rethe na isleye' said kasturi looking down at the floor.
'isleye tumne soocha acha chance hai, ek bhale aadmi ka fyda uthane ka, nahi?' he said again covering himself with the bed sheets but this time with a hint of sarcarsm.
'kya?' said kasturi in disbelief 'main aapka fyda uthao gi?' 'balke aap mera fyda utha raha the...mujhe apne paas bola kar patha nahi kya kya gandhi gandhi baatein kar rahe the, aur patha nahi kya kar rahe the aur....aur....aur patha nahi kya karne wale the' she said the last line quietly looking down as she was feeling awkward.
Robbie realised what she was talking about and said 'woh...mein samjha tum meri girlfriend ho' he said quickly.
'haan sir, maine suna, aapki girlfriend tina, meena, leena aur kaun thi woh...' said kasturi thinking
'sheenaaaa' said Robbie dreamily looking up with his hand under his chin.
Kasturi looked at him in disgust again and muttered under her breath 'cheap kahi ka'
'kya kaha tumne?' said Robbie coming out of his dream world.
'er kuch nahi sir...woh mein ke rahi thi ke aapki lunch meeting hai mr. Malhotra ke saath ek baje tho aap tyaar ho jaye'
'mujhe nahi jaana kisi meeting weeting main' said Robbie and lay down on his bed again
'jaana tho parega sir'
'oh yeah? Aur mujhe leke kaun jayega tum?'
'yes sir main aapko le kar jao gi'
'huh tum? Tum khud yaha tik ne wali ho nahi aur tum mujhe meeting pe le kar jao gi?'
'ji sir...aur ye tho waqt hi patayga ke kaun tiktha hai' she said and started walking towards the door. As she opened the door Robbie said
'Suno...' kasturi stopped at the door but didn't turn around to look at him. 'Tumhara naam kya hai?' he asked.
'Kasturi, sir, kasturi chawla' she said with her back still facing Robbie
'Hmm kas..tu...ri..' he said
'Matlab....K for kaamwali'
'A for arrogant'
'S for shaani'
'T for trouble'
'U for ugly'
'R for rude'
'and... I for idiot' he said with a smirk on his face.
Kasturi turned around and said
'Wrong sir...kasturi matlab.....'
'K for khoobsurat'
'A for akalmand'
'S for smart'
'T for too good'
'U for unique'
'R for realistic'
'and I, I for izzatdar' she said with full attitude.
Robbie scrunched his eyes at her and said 'well miss kasturi...jitni akhar dikhani hai utni dikha lo kyunki do din baad ye tumhari saari akhar jo hai na yun nikhal jaye gi' he said clicking his fingers
'Dekhthe hai sir'
'Umm hmm' he said raising his eyebrows.
Kasturi left the room leaving Robbie on his own thinking to himself 'what a stupid girl, mere se panga lena chathi hai...theek hai isko tho mein sabak sikha kar raho ga' he said with a determined look on his face. 'Lekin abhi ke liye back to dreamland, Tina mera intezar kar rahi hogi' he said with an excited look and lay back on his bed with his hands under his head.
Kasturi came downstairs where devika and raunak were sitting discussing something.
'Ao kasturi' said devika. Kasturi sat on the sofa opposite them.
'Robbie jaag gaya?' asked devika
'Ji ma'am' replied kasturi
'Good, acha kasturi tumhe Robbie ke saath meeting me jaane hai tumhe pata hai na?'
'Yes ma'am' said kasturi looking a bit dazed
'Kasturi kya huwa tumhe?' devika asked her.
'Kuch nahi ma'am'
'Aunty, lagtha hai Robbie ne kuch kiya ho ga' said raunak with a smirk on his face. Kasturi gave him a 'who are you' and 'how did you know' look whilst looking slightly embarassed.
'Kasturi ye raunak hai, Robbie ka bachpan ka dost aur humara business partner bhi...agar tumhe kisi cheese ki zarorat hogi tho tum ise keh sakthi ho'
Kasturi shook her head in the affirmative. Raunak brought his hand forward to shake kasturi's hand and said 'i look forward to work with you' with a smile on his face.
Kasturi accepted his hand and said 'same here'. She thought to herself ek yeh hai jo itna acha hai aur ek woh...mr akroo, idiot kahi ka....pata nahi yeh dono dost kaise bangaye.
Meanwhile in Robbie's room....
'Chalo kahi lunch karne jaathe hai darling?' Robbie was talking to another one of his girlfriends on the phone.
'Hmm let's meet at 1pm.' He said and disconnected the phone. Robbie soon came downstairs all dressed up (and there's no need to mention how *hot* he was looking 😳😉)
'I'm impressed Robbie, abhi meeting ko ek ghanta hai aur tum abhi se tyaar hoke niche aa gaye ho' said devika
'Meeting what meeting? Mom, mein kisi meeting ke liye nahi tyaar huwa mein tho apni date pe ja raha ho' he said whilst putting his jacket collar up.
'What date pe?' asked devika looking confused
'Yes mom...anjali ke saath' he said looking proud.
Kasturi thought to herself 'acha ek anjali bhi hai meina socha isko sirf "eena meena deeka" hi pasand aathi hai'
Before his mom could stop him or say anything he left the house.
'Ma'am don't worry, Robbie sir apni meeting mein time pe zaroor poonche ge' said kasturi assuringly
'Lekin kasturi...'
'Trust me ma'am' said kasturi nodding her head.
Meanwhile at the cafe Robbie kept looking at his watch waiting for his date. He picked up the spoon on his table and started fixing his hair looking into it and admiring himself 'you're too sexy robbie' he said and blew a flying kiss to himself.
Just then someone came from behind Robbie and put their hand on his shoulder. Robbie smiled, lifted his hand and placed it on their hand and rubbed it softly. He grabbed that person's hand and pulled them towards himself and said 'itni der lagadi swee...'
'Ahem....Mr Malhotra.....ahem...ahem.... aap?!' said Robbie in disbelief choking and coughing in between. The person was none other than Mr. Malhotra.
'Sorry Mr. Sabharwal mujhe thori der ho gaye woh mujhe aapki secretary ne pathaya ke aapne meeting ki jaga change kar di hai...' he said pointing behind Robbie. Robbie turned around to see a smiling kasturi standing with her arms folded and raising her eyebrows up and down as if saying 'kaisa raha'.
He gave her a 'main tumhe dekhlo ga' look and turned back facing Mr Malhotra
'Ji woh...maine socha ke meeting yaha rakh lethe hai...maine suna hai ke yaha ka khaana kaafi acha hai' he said. Kasturi giggled to herself.
'Woh sab tho theek hai Mr Sabharwal lekin yaha pe tho sirf couples aye hoye hai dekhiye na' he said pointing at all the couples sitting on nearby tables 'aur ye cafe ka naam bhi thora ajeeb sa nahi hai..."Pyaar Bhara Cafe", tho phir apne mujhe yaha...' he said looking around the cafe.
'Woh..' stammered Robbie not knowing what to say
'Aur aap mere haath ko bhi...' he said looking unsure
'Nahi woh...woh main....woh mujhe waha haarish ho rahi thi aur usi waqt pe aapne apna haath rakha tho...' he said getting embarrassed and finding it hard to get his words out.
'Oh acha...' he said nodding his head 'lekin apne milne ki jaga kyu badal di Mr Sabharwal...'
'Woh...' stammered Robbie
'Woh isleye' said kasturi walking upto them 'kyunki yaha pe aap logo ko zada privacy mili gi concert ki details discuss karne ke liye aur yaha pe itna shor nahi hai, isleye Robbie sir ne aapko yaha bolaya, hena Robbie sir?' kasturi said smiling at Robbie
Robbie looked at kasturi and said 'haan...' and then quickly looking at Mr Malhotra said 'haan isleye...isleye maine aapko yaha bolaya'
Kasturi stood there and giggled and Robbie just gave her a dirty look. The rest of the meting went on fine. About half an hour later Robbie excused himself to go the bathroom. He went into the washroom and washed his face with cold water and then ran his hands through his hair.
'God, this girl! Har jaga poonch jaathi hai dammit! Samjh thi kya hai apne aap ko? Lekin isko kaise patha chala ke mein yaha pe ho?' he said looking in the mirror thinking. 'Chalo isko abhi maza chakhathe hai' he said with a devilish grin on his face.
Robbie went back to his table and sat down and quietly started pretending to eat. He looked up at kasturi and Mr Malhotra who were both busy eating their food. He purposely knocked the glass of water that was on the table which fell on kasturi and drenched her clothes with water.
'Aaaaaaaa' kasturi shrieked
'Oh i'm so sorry' said Robbie handing some tissues to kasturi and pretending to look sorry
Kasturi grabbed them in anger and started wiping her dress. Robbie started giggling under his breath.
'Excuse me' she said and got up in anger and walked towards the ladies room.
'Ab ayega maza' said Robbie rubbing his hands together, scrunching his nose and smiling wide showing all his 32! 😃
Kasturi went inside and got some more tissues and started wiping her dress in front of the mirror whilst abusing Robbie 'stupid, idiot, gadha kahi ka!' She got some more tissues and wiped her salwar kameez even more vigourously. 'Pehle meeti (mud) wala paani lagatha hai aur ab peene wale paani giratha hai! Ye aadmi hai ke tanki!!' she said angrily. She ran out of tissues and couldn't find any nearby. She looked around, all the cubicles were occupied, she went to the nearest cubicle and knocked on the door.
'Excuse me' she said
'Mmmmmm' a deep voice replied
'Er...aap mujhe thora tissue de sakhthe hai please' she said
'Mmmmm' again the deep voice replied
'Ji?'
'Kahin aur jakar tissue maango, mein abhi bohat busy ho' the voice boomed in a manly voice
'Huh iski awaaz ko kya huwa' thought kasturi 'suniye please mujhe thora sa tissue de dijiye' said kasturi.
Kasturi put her ear on the door waiting for a response. A few seconds later there was a flush sound and the door unlocked. She moved back slightly thinking thank god.
As she moved back she was absolutely gobsmacked.
A huge, fat MAN stepped out holding his trousers up by his stomach (the button and zip wasn't done).
'Kya hai? Mujhe itni busy kaam se disturb kyun kiya?' he boomed looking frustatedly at kasturi.
Kasturi looked up at him in shock with her mouth wide open.
'Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarghh' she screamed
'Aaaaaaaaarrrrgggghhhhhhhhhhh' the man yelled letting go of his trousers revealing his boxer shorts.
Kasturi looked down and screamed again 'aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarghhhh' and ran out the washroom covering her eyes with her hand.
She ran out the cafe and took a taxi straight away. Robbie and Mr Malhotra looked up and saw her running and screamimg.
'Ise kya huwa?' asked Mr Malhotra pointing outside where kasturi had run off to.
'Patha nahi' said Robbie shrugging his shoulders but in his mind thought 'lagtha hai kaam hogaya'
Flashback:
Robbie exchanged the signs of the washrooms so kasturi went into the gents washroom instead of the ladies.
Back to present:
Robbie sat there with a really big grin on his face and then continued eating his food.
