I agree that BaPre dance was not needed in the episode, they made it completely disastrous. But, like mentioned before in the thread, the purpose of the dance was to make Anurag feel jealous, Prerna looked to Anurag when the dance was announced, and decided to proceed only on seeing that anurag was looking towards her.

And, it is pretty obvious that they are running short on budget. I hope KP being a senior and close to Ekta is not an inexpensive actor that they can easily get in the same frame with leads whenever they need. And BaPre is not the couple of their focus, they must have had enough already with what they concentrated during the past two-three weeks and yearning the wrath of the channel.

So, the only place where they are okay to compromise and spend with the budget is when AnuPre are required to be in the same frame, because they are the couple of the focus and it's their story.

Kasauti is the story of star crossed lovers, two people Anurag and Prerna whose relationship and love is always challenged by "external forces".

It was no where written that it is the story where a woman loves two men but one remains her lover while the other becomes her life-partner, those are just conclusions based on previous season of the show. It worked last time and garnered TRPs, so they were happy to run the story on that base for years. It is not working this time, despite trying their level best, it destroyed the TRPs, so they are simply moving on with what can save the last few days of the show until the Channel pulls the curtains down😆 As simple as that, not a rocket science 😳

PS : I loved the grace that Erica had in her solo dance shots, she has one of the beautiful smiles

A good example of a remake is the most recent version of Beauty and the Beast. Although live-action, the film tells the exact same story and features the same characters. There have been slight changes made, but the essential parts of the story have been kept the same. The 2014 Godzilla film, however, is the definition of a reboot. Although the central theme is the same — the monster, Godzilla, is attacking humanity — the majority of characters are different, as is the setting and dialogue.

That's why ekta specified this season as reboot not remake because she was bound to change some things including character graph setting dynamics etc etc with same names. Remake would have been same story same characters different faces thats all.

Previous season they might have drifted to whatever path sure they can still do but they are not bound to as this is reboot not remake.

I think in previous season also people were not aware of endgame of the show.though I never watched it,but I don't think ekta started that show with any rail ki patri theme.bjaj was cameo and became imp part due to rr.(all these things r heard in forum only as not much idea )

Then million dollar question is how long will they able to run this show by making everyone unhappy with this show

Agreed! Season 1 fans want a rehash, Season 2 fans want a re-doing. Fans of characters want their favourites to act like they have a brain. Fans of actors want their favourites to be the endgame. Not one of the above group is happy currently.

The indecision of the makers is evident. Since they have no faith in their story they keep flip-flopping, the latter quite literally.

If they had decided on an endgame and stuck with it, despite the ratings pressure, it could have been better. It is not easy to keep creating obstacles for the reunion of the leads, but the writers do not even try.

If they feel AnuPre get the TRP give them both some brains. Couples today can face umpteen challenges, get them married and focus on those.

If they want Bajaj to stay, just give Prerna and Anurag a clean break. Let them just conclude they can only remain friends or something.

The best though is end Kasauti audience ki ASAP ( I can only sympathize with the crew here). Many business personnel have the acumen of knowing when to cut their losses, EK I hope is adept at gauging when the time is right ( hint: now)

BOLD- I have to agree Anurag and Prerna both as character lack basic ability to think, critical thinking is way too far for these two. I am surr it's hard to find other leads who match their level of immaturity. If any algorithm beyond my understading tells the makers or viewers that Anupre will work after falling flat everytime they had an opportunity to prove their worth, then makers should give them some brains. Off late they are acting worse than Kukki, Sneha, Kaushik.

Writing is pathetic but whats wrong with acting? Have they forgotten to act? Or they fail to understand the nuances they need to bring to act like parents? The show has taken a significant leap but Anurag and Prerna have shown absolutely no sense of maturity in their behaviour or act, especially Prerna. She is still acting like a love stricken barely 20 girl instead of a woman who had gone through several good and bad expriences. She lost her life and child as per her POV till date. God she is pain to watch with or without Body Doubles.

The current writing evokes strong reactions from all groups, casual watchers and interested audience.

The limitations of the actors (all I would say, not just the leads) is glaringly obvious as the script has gone to the dogs. No continuity, no sense and no effort.

For people not following the offscreen stuff/quitting or rumours, the only driving factors are a decent story and above or average acting.

Apologies to the thread maker, we digress from their core point. But all these frustration threads have a common origin, the absolute lack of imagination while writing the story (especially post the lock down).

Same here in the name of PreRish we get to see prerna ema, dupatta flying, yesterday I saw maa Durga ka idol, copy paste scene, and a whole lot of BD, ringa ringa drama we also don’t get anything because of rail track love story 😳and we also don’t get a good dance scene of prerish without third angle and komo nivi anurag watching them from behind the door or on dance floor. Sigh prerish is envy by all three. now to even nivi is after bajaj forgetting she is basu who hates bajaj. Komo is trying to break bajaj trust on prerna and anurag is standing outside of the bedroom watching them.

Sigh! Kali nazar is always on prerish starting from cvs to onscreen🤔

Don’t talk to us ‘CV’ about the story as we haven’t even given proper story to AnuPre and this is supposed to be their saga. Forget TRPs, you don’t even give us the respect by using the name BaPre our ‘CV’ head Shivanghi Chauhan came up with and got StarPlus to promote it. It’s a two way street, but so far it has been a giving street only from our ‘CV’ end with nothing to gain in return . Next time please try giving TRPs for BaPre focused tracks and episodes instead of sending complaints our way.
