I'm sorry but TRPs do matter. Online popularity means NOTHING. Ground reality is something else. Not everyone has social media in India. You cant compare popularity of a couple based on their online fanbases.No one cares about the low TRP couples in the real world. FACT!

Really well I have a very different perception here.

Couples become superhit among public without trp.manan is the perfect example of this.they were in a youth based show.But as couple they clicked in mass audience so much.today colors is also showing kyy.manan as couple popularity lead to new season as web of the show.makers were forced to bring back parth in S2 of show as fans clearly refused to accept other ml with Nandini.

Earlier it may doesn't matter.But now couples being loved and adored by their fans and that too when they don't fall in trp show category.

I heard the same about last show of Erica as fans love their pair.

Popularity also matters. The channel and producer care for trps as its money for them, the fans and the audience who watch these dramas create the popularity . So when producer or channel is not earning enuf they draw the curtains to the show but a popular show , which is loved by the audience , dont want it to go.off air as they cant have enough of it. In kzk2 case all the factors are negative 😆 Otherwise fans wont be celebrating with the news of kzk2 ending or parth quitting . But popularity may not amount to trps and trps dont amount to popularity.

I want to give my 2 cents on the trp of the show as whi I believe bjaj tracck failed and why I believed his character was not well accepted by the audience.

Looning at the facts one can easily decipher that avg trp of the kzk was 2.0 .with good week episodes it reached to 3.0 and with bad episodes it went to 1.7too.

But in its initial 6 week kzk has won the loyal fan base of 2.0 trp audience.

Then ekta interoduced bjaj character with extra fee,popular actor.but no storyline for bjaj nothing.

A track can be successful or failure when it shows consistent rise in trp with little bit of variation.

Cvs knew that with bapre wedding many old vieweers will go but new viewer will come and enjoy the post wedding romance.

But their calculation went wrong.old audience went but it was not compensated by the new audience who would have loved bapre together.

That's why consistently that track trp was around1.7 on an average.

Does makers brought ksg like star for further dipping in avg trp of the show.

Bcoz by that time makers realuzed that the cost on an actor is much more than his contribution to the show success.

That's I feel his track was scrapped overnight and changes were made.

Later when he went ofcourse trp bound to decrease to 1.5 as new audience who were watching for ksg left and old audience needed time to comeback.

And memory loss track trp went upto 2.3.thats why one can see that track worked.

And the key difference in these two track was anupre vs komo and bapre vs anurag.

That's shows the acceptance by the audience.

Lastly I admit that ksg is a brilliant actor and it's bjaj who failed to impress audience as makersbring him but didn't know what to do with him.

Just my observation and seasoning why I believe bjaj is not accepted by the audience largely.

But, I can't help but notice how sensational the discourse here has been. A discourse more high on emotions than FACTS! Now since this forum claims that Naveen Babu's track was indeed the best track of the show, and the show was MASSIVELY POPULAR, and Bajaj TOOK IT DOWN, I had to GO BACK and do some 'factual' analysis to see if any of it made sense! LO AND BEHOLD, here are my findings:

If you compare the FIRST TWO MAJOR TRACKS, that is almost 8 MONTHS of anupre centric CONTENT on this show, this show was NEITHER the slot leader, NOT ANYWHERE near top 10! Naveen Babu's track brought this show THE WORST positions. Compared to that, the initial Bajaj track still was leading the slot.

Another PATTERN THAT EMERGED: This show ONLY PICKED UP, took on the slot and the TOP TEN when they made it KOMOLIKA centric, and made Prerna and Komolika fight over Anurag. Take that one plot out of the show and you'll have a colossal failure at your hands!

Also, before people come at me with Naveen Babu track had 2+ ratings HA HA HA! So I confirmed this with a friend in the higher ups of TV, and here's the thing! The rating systems works LIKE A PERCENTILE SYSTEM. It means because of changing trends, and a lot of things, the highest ratings over a period of time are taken as conclusive. So let's say your BIGGEST, NO.1 show gets a rating of around 1.8-2.3 over 3 weeks. THEN Every other show's rating will be taken in relation to that! Because that's the overall relative audience pool you're working with! That is why if SP's no.1 show or the no.1 show picks up 2.0 itself or even 3, the next thing will be how close to that figure ARE YOU. Obviously, SLOT LEAD matters the most too. If your show is leading ITS SLOT, and is maintaining a relatively positive trend, it's NOT going to be in the danger zone whatever that is!

^^^It's pretty straightforward too! If you get 2.0 and 14-15 SHOWS GET 2.0 BEFORE YOU it's the norm. Nothing out of the world, NO ANOMALY, and definitely not an indicator of your 'outstanding' performance. You still aren't leading your slot either. HAIL HAIL!😆

PLUS since logic assumes similarity in assumptions! If you say A SINGLE EK CHHAT track which obviously didn't work FOR ANYBODY, means the audience rejected Bajaj toh phir pehle 8 months. 8 months/multiple tracks vs ONE ek chhat track which was Bajaj vs Anurag rather than Bajaj x Prerna.🤣 (idc about KP ka Bajaj or whatever happened post covid because the actor was replaced). If someone could get me ek chhat track ke slot/trp positions, you'll be an angel (with proof of course!)

Let's GET TO THE POINT! The only thing that worked for this show's AUDIENCE, and brought in ratings was KOMOLIKA! Prerna vs Komolika. TWO FREAKING TRACKS (SAME PLOT) out of a hoopla of tracks, got them the ratings! But funnily enough, they could NEVER sustain those ratings when they shifted the focus off KOMOLIKA and tried to play at another angles! THE ABSOLUTE DISMAL RATINGS OF THE VIRAJ TRACK! Bajaj toh phir bhi decent tha.

Another thing, comparing prerish to Anupre IS STUPID because Prerish NEVER had any of the plot dynamics anupre did for a comparison to take place.

Anyway, this isn't to talk about Bajaj or Komolika! Frankly, this season's Bajaj was a snorefest too and I'm glad KSG, for whatever reason, left and mujhe mukti milgayi. But PLEASE instead of throwing blames here and there ACKNOWLEDGE THE TRUTH. This season's WRITING DID NOT CONNECT! There is a reason the creatives ONLY favor Komolika centric tracks. And, that's because Komolika, in whatever capacity, was the only one who worked for them THIS SEASON! And no I'm not MAKING anything up. This is based off numbers and SLOT POSITIONS.

Okay, toodles! Now we can ALL BLAME the writing, acknowledge our biases, celebrate or curse or mourn or whatever in peace. 🤔

Anupre falling in love/Anupre confession, the highest order of romance/development when the show constantly ranked 15-18th in the position table and got the slot lead 3/6 freaking months! WHAT A JOKE. I'm sorry but all of this is relative! The writing failed. You might be a fan but the general public DID NOT care for this show! Naya toh NV Babu track bhi tha. Naya toh Mishika track bhi tha! Bajaj ko side mein karein but NONE of these tracks got this show anywhere! Toh Bajaj pe bill phaarna band karein!

Secondly if you're willing to call Bajaj1 A FAILED TRACK then PLEASE ALSO APPLY THE SAME LOGIC TO ANUPRE and call them a bigger failure because DATA DATA AND DATA! Unlike you, I'm not calling anyone a failure here except the dismal, disastrous and unbaked writing!

Also lol is poore show mein THE ONLY PATTERN WITH NUMBERS that has emerged is when KOMOLIKA takes center stage as 'Anurag's social wife and fights Prerna. Only then did the numbers rise! Take away the attention from this and this show failed miserably.

What's funny is how this entire POST came about because Bajaj pe KZK ke failure ka constant bill phaara jaaraha hai. Maine socha check karein naveen babu ne kya gul khilaaye! Here's an example

If a person starts a small business, invests $2000 and makes a return of $12000, his monthly take away from that business is $10,000.

Another person starts a business with a partner, and puts in a major investment, sets up vertical and horizontal scales and brings in a revenue of $1 million only to take away $10,000 every month after the paycuts, who do you think wins in terms of time/money/resources invested?

The same way, please compare KYY to the pool it reached. KYY was a YOUTH SHOW. It aired on MTV that had NO FICTION viewership. People DIDN'T EVEN KNOW IT EXISTED! It had a very VERY SMALL BUDGET. The show not only put MTV on the map, it took over Channel V and its most competitive show and became no.1. Not only that, the show was so popular, it was the reason viacom launched VOOT, sponsored an S3 and that season was amongst the top 5 most web shows of India after its launch. We are talking about the likes of Netflix, AMAZON, Hotstar and their reach here! KYY gets around 200k PLUS hits on old episodes every single day even today on the app! KYY was A BLOCKBUSTER in relative terms! KZK, with its budget and its promotions and what not, is not even a relative success. It is a 'manufactured' success. Please get your facts right before jumping into discussions like these. KYY had the numbers. KZK never did. Simple as that. It's all relative.

That post was not compare success or failure of show but just to tell success and popularity of jodi does not depend on trp.

My reply was on that point.it has nothing do with kzk.

I gave manan example to prove that trp and hit jodi need not to be go hand in hand.
