what surprised me more that the ph are making the crew sign "we are not responsible" clause and on top of it refusing to have a coverage of 25lkhs. Bengali ITV industry whose budget is hardly 2lkh can go ahead with 25lkh insurance yet Hindi TV industry, whose budget is even more higher, can't? 🤔Originally posted by: Niyati_T
The biggest problem in India is that anything and everything is a ‘political mudda’ jaan ki toh kisi ko padi hi nahi hai.
Na production ko na channel ko, unko bas show aur isse aane wale profits ki padi hai. FWICE is not wrong, it’s highly insensitive of the channel and producers to try and negotiate with these terms despite knowing that the points are valid.
Already those members who are resuming work are going to be signing a document that says ‘jo hoga tumhari zimmedari’ and on top of that they will work undress stress. Even if they say that we will do a 16hrs shift vo extend hoga hi, television mein rarely ko shift timing hote hain usse pehle ya uss time pe shoot wrap up hoti hai. And after such a long gap no shows have a bank of episodes, until and unless they do two-three week preshoot before the telecasts go on air koi bhi show vo continuity nahi manage kar payega. Aur isske liye sirf 16hrs shift bhi kafi nahi honge, so if they are ready to risk the lives of 35 people the production should agree with FIWCE ka terms for the sake of those people only!
At least unko itna toh tasalli rahe ki jaan ki parvah na sahi but kuch toh socha hai PH and channel ne unke liye!
