Bajju comes in the scenes right before the shaadi ceremony begins and says,' Yeh shaadi nahi ho Sakti hain...kyunki... She is still married to me.'

Tadaaa... He shows everyone the divorce papers which aren't submitted yet 🤣🤣🤣

Bajju is too good for dialogues like these. Uski presence hi kaafi hai🤣

Her lips curved up in a smile. "You love him Di."

Prerna rolled her eyes, "You're impossible. I'm done with you."

She wasn't expecting Shivani to come up with this, hence she decided to end it. Shivani had been observing Prerna's behaviour from past few weeks. She had had a few arguments with Prerna about Mr.Bajaj before but today she had pushed her a little to far and ended up getting slapped. But she needed to know what exactly she felt about him. Prerna always said it was about Kukki n not him. She blamed herself for breaking the little girl's heart who had loved Prerna with all her heart.

"The first word she ever spoke was Maa...or woh bhi kiske liye?"

"Mere liye...and what did I do? Mauka milte hi use chhod diya. Ek second nhi laga mujhe us rishte ko todne me. Us chhoti si bacchi ka dil bhi mujhse kahin bada hai..."

She sat there with her head down and tears falling uncontrollably.

Shivani sat beside her and rubbed her back to calm her down. "If U miss her so much, why didn't you call her?"

Wiping her tears she looked at Shivani.

"Kiya tha."

"Kab?"

"Kuchh din pehle. Man kiya...I was missing her."

A small smile crept across her sad face.

"It's been only five months par aese laga kitni badi ho gyi hai. She was happy."

"Mr.Bajaj se baat hui?"

Prerna nodded in denial.

"Dekha unhe. Video call thi isliye I could see him. He sat right behind Kukki and was working on something. Bas."

"Unhone ne bhi aapse baat nhi ki?"

"No."

She cleared her throat and asked Shivani to bring her some water. After she left Prerna walked up to the study table and grabbed her phone that was plugged in the charger and looked at it with several thoughts running through her mind.

"Should I call? Par baat kya karungi? Nhi."

"But problem kya hai? I'll only ask about Kukki. Par Mr.Bajaj ne agar Anurag ke baare me kuchh puchha to...kya kahungi?"

"No, I'm not calling him."

She flips the phone on the bed and grabs her head in both hands. After some more struggle about whether she should or shouldn't, she finally decides to give him a call. On hearing the phone ringing on the other side her heart starts racing. She fists the bedsheet in one hand and closes her eyes. Several thoughts start running through her mind, but Sneha's cries pull her out of her thoughts and she cuts the call.

"Di paani." Shivani offers Prerna water.

"Uth gai? Main lu ise?"

Suman walks in calling Prerna. "Priyu Di chaliye. Aapko bula rahe hain neeche."

"Aap jao I'll take care of her." Shivani assures her.

Prerna closes her eyes and takes a long breath. Before leaving she gives Sneha a quick peck on her forehead and smiles. " Mumma abhi aati hai. Aap maasi ke saath khelo."

"Are..Cutie pie aj to maasi se kaam chalana padega." Shivani rocks Sneha gently in her arms.

She hears Prerna's phone ringing but can't find it. Finally she finds it underneath the pillow but misses the call. Prerna had hid the phone there when she saw Shivani walk in.

It rings again and Shivani grabs it to answer it.

"Yeh kiska number hai?" Says with a confused expression. Nevertheless she answers it.

"Hello..."

Descending the stairs Prerna looked divine in a red and white bridal dress. All gazes shift to her but hers was glued to the entrance of her house as if she was waiting for someone to walk in, but why?

"Why would he even come? Unhe to pata bhi nhi hai yahan kya ho raha hai." Her face becomes sad realising she was hoping something that was not possible.

" Priyu bahut pyari lag rahi ho." Says Veena cupping her face. Prerna became emotional seeing Shekhar and hugged him tight. He got worried seeing her teary-eyed and asked, "Priyu kya hua? Tu ro kyu rhi hai?"

Suman assured him everything was fine and she was just nervous.
"Kuchh nhi thodi nervous hain. Hain na Priyu Di?"

Shekhar kissed Prerna on her forehead and held her hand to the mandap.

The priest began the marriage rituals with vedic chants. Prerna's mind was still occupied with the conversation she had with Shivani. The moments that spent with him and Kukki slowly start flashing before her eyes. The voices of people present there slowly start to fade away and her mind is slowly taken over his thoughts, his voice and HIM. She could see him and hear him as if he was there right in front of her.

She could see him and Kukki.

" Accha ek baat batao...aap papa se zyada pyaar karte ho ya mumma se?"

Kukki points at her and Rishabh looks at her amused and she lowers her gaze blushing.

"Oh! To aap mumma se zyada pyaar karte ho. I don't mind that. It's just...bas thoda sad feel ho raha tha."

She smiles imagining them with brimming eyes.

"Maine kaha tha yeh aapko bahut chahati hai. Meri beti ka khayal rakhiyega."

"Maine humesha wohi kiya hai jo aap chahti hain, or aage bhi wohi karunga jo aap chahengi."

"Kaash main aapko kisi bhi aur ke milne se pehle mila hota."

"Prerna meri wife hain or aap unse bahut galat tareekey se baat kar rahi hain."

"Main bura hun but itna bura bhi nahi hun."

"Maine aapse kabhi kuchh nahi chhupaya hai, sab sach bataya hai..."

"Kukki aapko bahut miss karegi... or main bhi."

"Jaane se pehle kehna chahta hu...ke I'll...miss you...Prerna."

"Maa...."

The echoes of their voices filled her head and it almost felt it would explode. Prerna shut her eyes tight and closed her ears with both her hands muttering, " No no no no....I can't. I can't do this. Somebody please...stop this. Please. I can't do this..."

"Mrs.Bajaj"

"Mrs.Bajaj"

"Prerna..."

Her eyes shot wide open hearing a familiar voice.

She looks around but her blurry vision makes it difficult to see....

She blinks a few times to clear her vision and turns around to find him standing and looking at her all worried.

"Aap kab aaye?" She asks him.

"Abhi...aap...aap theek hain?" He asks her back with a worried tone.

She nods in affirmation with a faint smile.

" Aap fresh ho jaiye...main khana lagwati hu." And walks towards the door but is stopped by him when he holds her wrist, "Mrs.Bajaj" making her turn and look at him puzzeled. She approaches him in two steps and looks in his eyes.

"Kya hua?"

"Woh..uh..office me kuch delegates ke saath meeting thi which got extended and I had dinner with them."

"Thik hai."

"Mrs.Bajaj" He stops her again. "Actually my phone battery ran out so I couldn't give you a call. Aapne khana khaya?"

She nodded in denial. "I will."

"Aap. Mrs.Bajaj you don't have to do this. Aap please mere liye... I'm sorry. I should've called you. But..."

"Mr.Bajaj it's ok. I know. Actually I had called you in the evening. You know Sneha, how she is. Shaam hote hi aapko miss karne lagati hai or restless ho jati hain. Itni si hai but bahut tantrums throw karti hai." She laughs looking at Sneha sleeping on their bed. His gaze shifts to their daughter and he smiles.

"Aapne use bigaad diya hai. Mr.Bajaj... zid karti hai bedtime story Only Dada sunayenge. It almost became impossible to handle her. Maasi, main and even Chandu..." And they both burst out laughing.

"To kya kiya aapne?" Rishabh asked with glinting eyes.

"Maine nahin. Kukki. She came to our rescue."

"Kukki?" He asked surprised.

" Yeah. Actually Kukki had once recorded your voice in my phone while you were reading Sneha, her favourite story putting her to bed. Bas she played that and luckily that worked. She fell asleep."

"Kukki kaafi smart ho gyi hai and looks like Dada has been replaced by a voice recorder." Said he rolling his eyes making Prerna chuckle.

"Its not like that Mr.Bajaj"

"Aapko to khush hona chahiye that our daughter is so smart."

Rishabh nodded in affirmation ,"Ofcourse. Afterall she's a Bajaj. We're born that way." Said with a smirk.

Prerna rolling her eyes, "Stop flattering yourself."

Rishabh moves closer to her with a raised eyebrow and asks, "Excuse me? Main smart nhi hu?"

"Ofcourse. You're Rishabh Bajaj. How can I forget that." She moves even closer but moves back when she realised she was too close to him for comfort.

Prerna and Rishabh have been married for a year now. They share the same room and infact the same bed but are still miles apart when it comes to being intimate. But since the past few months Prerna has started getting affected by Rishabh's proximity and this hasn't gone unnoticed by him.

Precap : Rishabh's revelation to Prerna. Will this break their relationship again?

So is all that a dream or flashback?? Has it really happened?? Did RB came there to stop the marriage?? Or Prerna herself stopped it?? How else will PreRish be married again?? I'm so curious to know what actually happened there.... Anyway nice to them married and happy and on the way to be truly a couple ...wonderful update... Please do update soon....

Interesting first two chapters. Even I thought Bajaj was going to make an entry at the wedding but I am so glad he didn't because it would have been so not Bajaj like 😆 It was a dream it looks like But how did they get married and why did she dream of her marriage to Viraj. Did she really reach shaadi mandap and Bajaj came? It would be interesting to read. Looking forward to next update.
