The Episode starts with....
Nivedita in Basu Industries is hysterical about not able to THE AUCTION live on television. She continuously shouts on Manav for being so careless and not able to fix the error on television. She calls up Anuraag to know but he didn't pick up the phone.
The Auctioneer announces that the current bidding is 50cr on which Anuraag adds 5cr more. Prerna calls Mr. Bajaj but handover the phone to the secretary (not sure what he is). Upon receiving the call and without even listening to the person Mr. Bajaj tells him that Prerna only calls him up if the bidding is higher and she wants to take over the land. He instructs the man to let Prerna buy the land. The man informs Mr Bajaj that the bid is more than double the actual bid. Mr Bajaj tells the man that "we won't be able to stop Prerna until the land is ours". Dejected, the man hands over the phone to Prerna and she expresses her gratitude to Rishabh. After disconnecting the phone Rishabh looks at his phone and smiles says "anything for you".
Prerna increases the bid to 60cr. The Auctioneer asks her whether she is sure or not. Prerna just nods in approval. He apologizes to her for questioning.
In the meantime, Kaushik was trying to enter the auction hall when the security guard stops him and informs him that he can only enter after the auction is over. Kaushik blames Kuki for being late and not able to enter the hall. Kuki tells him that it is good that he couldn't enter or else Prerna would have set him right. Kaushik further tells her that she talks and lot and unnecessary and that she should meet his mami because she will shut her up then. Kuki says "tumhari mami ko Prerna se milna chahiye...unki bolti to wohi band karegi".
In Basu House, Mohini's friend Mrs Banerjee questions her what is she doing in front of the door. Mohini politely asks her friend to come in. Komolika tells her friend Anuraag is going to win the bid today and takes a sip of the coffee that was not of her liking. She instructs Mohini to make coffee for her. Mrs Banerjee asks Mohini why is she taking all these non-sense from Komolika and Prerna used to respect her so much in comparison. Mohini shuts her off.
The Auctioneer announces that the bidding has reached to 60 cr. Anuraag was about to bid more when his secretary stops him from doing so and informs him that if they bid a penny more it would be the worst deal for them ever. Anuraag reluctantly stops bidding further. He keeps on glancing towards the lady who won the bid.
Mr Bajaj who was checking live feed of the auction smiles inwardly and thinks that now Mr Basu will come to know who is standing against him in this bid. And with that, the Auctioneer announces that the land now belongs to KB group of industries. Prerna asks her secretary to get the other formalities done.
Manav informs Nivedita that they have lost the bid. She cant believe it and asks him which company and who. Manav couldn't answer her questions only tells her that some KB group of industries won the bid. Nivedita informs Komolika and Mohini they also couldn't believe that Anurag lost the auction. Komolika questions Mohini sarcastically that who could it be.
Anurag congratulated the winning bidder and tells her that he never thought that anybody else will be so interested in buying this land. He further tells her that the land is not even worth so much. He had some dreams and she crushed them by buying it. He once again congratulates her and tells her that when she is going to sell the houses nobody is going to buy the property there because the adjacent property belongs to him and if he doesn't make the mall or delays it no one is going to come to stay there. He taunts her by saying she should have done her homework before investing 60 cr on this land. He was about to leave when she turns and says...
"Har woh sauda jo tumhe nuksaan pohchaye aur mujhe sakoon de mere liye faide mandh rahega."
Anuraag turns to see the owner of the voice and as shocked to see Prerna, alive and standing right in front of him.
Prerna's Flashback
Komolika telling her that Anuraag loves Komolika instead of Prerna, and he has agreed to marry Prerna for Bajaj's money. Anuraag Kissing Komolika in the study before their marriage. Anuraag explaining to Komolika that when their marriage is legalized, then Prerna's money will be his. Anuraag throwing her off the bridge...
Anuraag's Flashback
Komolika telling him that he cannot save Prerna from getting hanged for Viraag murder case no matter how much he tries.Komolika gives him two options...first one is to have his child and second one to make her Komolika Basu or else lose Prerna forever. Anuraag pushing Prerna off the bridge.
Anuraag looks at Prerna as she walks and stops right infront of him. He tells himself that she cannot be weak in front of her or else she will come to know what he feels for her still now. He has to continue this hatred and after 8 years Prerna....
His thoughts broke as she questions him that seeing her after 8 years he is falling short of words? He says he is surprised to see her alive to which Prerna says to make your life hell. He further insults her by saying that's the problem with middle-class women always throwing yourself on me. He asks her the reason for her being in the auction hall and after so many years there is no point her being here anymore because nobody wants her.
Prerna tells him that she thinks that he is scared that she is back and now what will happen to him. Anurag fakes an evil laugh and tells her that she is highly mistaken "Prerna" also tells her that he took this name after such a long time and its awkward. He says that she is not afraid that reminds her that he was the one who threw her out of his life "dhakka dekar"
Prerna shows him the emptied auction hall and congratulates him for the current dhukka that she gave him and promises him that he is going to get a lot of dhakkas like this in his life. Anuraag purposely fake tears in front of her while she continues to tell him that he is going take away everything from his life and whatever he loves.
Anuraag tells him that now he doesn't even have tears in his eyes for sympathising. He gives her advice and asks her to go back to where she was in these 8 years and she should leave for good. Prerna rejects his advice and tells him that from now onwards she won't let Anuraag be happy and leaves.
Anuraag's monologue: I was right when I felt her presence. She shouldn't have come back. And now that you have come back I am going to make sure that you go back from where you have come then only I will sigh in relief.
Prerna's monologue: I promise you Anuraag that you and Komolika who has destroyed my life will not be able to breathe sigh of relief not anytime soon...not ever.
Manav discusses with Prerna that nobody ever thought that anybody can defeat Mr Basu. Prerna says to expect the unexpected. He informs Prerna that Mr Bajaj has called him up to tell her not to take the stress. Prerna tells him that Mr Bajaj is very caring and because he is not here, he is stressed out. She will handle it.
Kaushik and Kuki continue to banter. Prerna informs kuki that they won the auction. She asks kuki to wait in the reception. Kuki is all excited to meet Prerna and she also informs Prerna that she was stuck because of some stupid guy and now she is inside the premises.
Anuraag asks Kaushik to wait downstairs as well. Unknowingly kuki and kaushik sits beside each other. Upon realising that Kaushik tells her that it looks like "tum mere gale pad gaye ho. Just like Prerna mere mamu ke in the lift." Kaushik tells her that isnt it too much of a coincidence that both Prerna and Anuraag are seen together all the time. Kuki says the world is small. Or maybe their world has mingled together, says Kaushik. Kuki asks this dialogues belongs to which film?
Anuraag and Prerna are in the same lift and their starts to banter with each other. Prerna furiously presses the floor button and says she doesn't want to stay with him for a second and Anuraag gives his affirmation. He further says that it is impossible to breathe in this lift. The lift reaches the floor but stops. Anuraag now vigorously presses the button yet it was of no help. Their banter continues. Prerna was thinking out loud so Anuraag asks her to be quiet when she is thinking. Prerna tells him that he shouldn't think she will take whatever shit he is saying to which he says he has no interest that he was just correcting her just like he corrects his employees. Prerna corrects him that she is not his employee to which Anuraag tells her that she can't be because they are more efficient. Prerna corrects him by saying that she is the one who won the auction. Anuraag tells her that it was a loss.
Prerna explained to him that he is seeing her 60cr loss but in actual he has lost 300cr because he has the land for mall and he wanted to buy the residential land so that many people can shift and stay there. He is going to make the mall eventually but what if she doesn't make residence? Who will visit the Mall? So whose profit and whose loss is it?
Anurag informs Kaushik that they are stuck in the lift and asks for help. Kaushik informs Kuki but she refuses to help. She then calls up to confirm whether she is stuck in the lift. Prerna tells her to get help because there is no helpline number. Kuki asks Kaushik to wait for her and then runs behind him.
To worsen the condition the elevator lifts goes off. Anuraag tells her that now she is going to tell him that she is scared of darkness. She tells him that now she is not scared of anything after what she has gone through in life. "When my own people betrayed me I have overcome the fear of heights, fear of darkness and fear of depth, fear of losing and winning.
Precap: Komolika questions Anuraag with whom he was with that he is unable to talk to her. Anuraag tells Komo that he is going to talk to her later and that he loves her a lot. He was purposely being lovey dovey with Komolika infront of Prerna.
Mohini asks Anuraag about the woman who won the bid against him. Anuraag thinks that he cannot tell Prerna's name as he has to keep Prerna away from komolika.
Kuki gets kaushik arrested for teasing a girl. Police take in him their custody.
Anurag still can't believe that Prerna defeated him. On the other hand, Prerna is waiting for the day when she is doing to actually defeat Anurag the way she wants to.
