Kukki can only be 13-14. Does Ekta pay any attention?

Kukki was 5 when Bajaj came and Prerna was pregnant. Prena gave birth say 6 months later and now 8 years have passed. That makes Kukki 13-14. Why are they showing her as a girl who is about to find a boy (Anu's nephew obviously) to marry? Whatever happened to developing Prerna's relationship with Bajaj? That's what is bringing all the attention. Why not show that? He spends 8 years with the woman (way more than Anu) and they still behave like strangers. If he has to looks like the father of a girl about to get married without ever being in a full marriage with Prerna, what is the point of the show and it's love triangle?

Also, why would Kukki ever want to be away from her father? She was his spoilt child and now they are suddenly showing that she has this tensed relationship with him. That's not how those kinds of dads raise their only daughters.
