I will go with anger is a great motivator.

Depending on how it is channeled, it can be used to achieve things just so that it can be flung back in the face of those responsible.

I can see Anurag being the motivation behind Prerna's actions - she has reason to hate him. She has a right to be angry with/at him. So yes he can be the diving force behind her actions... Only it is not positive.

They couldn't expose komo (if this was the plan)

They couldn't protect sneha ( if she was the reason)

If anurag wanted the lover of the yr award by killing his love to protect her from komo, well ,what how lame is that love 😆
