Prerna skipped meeting Rishabh that day and hopped to court to meet Anurag , she has kept her own practice on hold due their wedding." Hey baby ! I miss you so much!" Anurag clasped her in arms and tried kissing her neck once they were alone in his car. Prerna smiled and pushed him away gently. She placed her palm on his and mouthed. " Anurag I want to ask you about something!" she mouthed apprehensively. " Yea pucho !" he smiled.

" Rishu.. I mean Rishabh ! Kabhi normal nhi ho sakte kya !" she bit her lip. Anurag Partly closed his eyes and sucked in a sharp breath. " Rishab bhai ko unke haal pe chod de na hi better hai...! He is better left to cure on his own..Beside woh cheezen phenkte hai.. Nivi ko vase phenk ke maaraa tha unhone... That's why I asked you not to go near him..!"

Anurag kissed her forehead. Prerna on the other hand knew how wrong Anurag was. A human being like Rishab who was scared of even air harming him, can never hurt anyone else. He was a baby craving for love.

Prerna wondered how can someone be scared of a punch of innocence known as Rishab. She refrained visiting his place at night but still she was always in touch with Renu who was not at all allowed to enter Rishab's room cause of her weak heart and Rishab's pathetic condition.

Prerna has often seen him solving various equation and the smile also whenever he solved one. She didn't mind sitting on his lap to trim his stubble. Prerna started crafting a world of their own around Rishab,to combing his hair, to getting him shirts , to feeding him, were something which got her solace.

" Rishu , priyu will get you yummy grapes , ek aur spoon khaa lo na please..!" That afternoon she mouthed feeding him his broth when her cell buzzed and it was Anurag.

Rishab immediately clutched her in a tight hug and started chanting. " maarnee ke liye aa rahe hai... Nhi nhi!".Prerna pushed her phone away and hugged him as tight as possible. " Priyu haaiii na Rishu ke pass ... Dono mil ke pitayii karenge.. Gande logo ki...!! Bohot bohot maarenge unko !" she pressed her lips on his nape much to her own surprise but it just felt so right.

He nodded as she smiled spooning him his broth , Prerna caressed his forehead and mouthed, " Rishu ko padhai karnii hai ?" she didn't knew why she uttered this but just that she did , and felt him wrenching himself away from her arms. Prerna pulled him back and like always kissed on his forehead, " Main chor nhi hun priyu .." he shivered.

Prerna knew how much those accusation that physical tortures have affected him." bilkul nhiii " she calmed him.

" Rishu padhegaa priyu ke saath " she asked him again with a smile. He kept quite and hugged her darn tight. There was any sort of unnamed relationship between them and they were very happy with each other company. Prerna viewed him more as her responsibility, there was more empathy between them ,but she needed to drag him out of the miserable world he was dwelling in and for that she needed Anurag's support , like hell.

It was a weekend when Prerna met Anurag for movie, while she was busy thinking about what Rishab must be doing then. "Whats wrong with you baby ??" Anurag mouthed as he was about to kiss her and she flinched back , for reason unknown to herself, " I'm not feeling well " she lied. " Of course You are not !! well Prerna!! " Anurag gritted his teeth.

" It's our engagement in a month darling. Please" he added.

" How can u be so merry after knowing that your brother is leading such a wretched life ? " Prerna muttered out of the blue.

Anurag crinkled his nose and grabbed her forearms tight, " There isn't any cure to his illness Prerna !! are u getting me ?? i mean kya karen hum bolo , " maine haar nhi li " chillate rehte hai. " he screamed in utter frustration.

Prerna kept looking at him and freed herself of his hold slowly. "Rote bhi hai wo " she sighed under her breath.

Prerna looked at Anurag's face helplessly and shook his head. " I should leave now !" she faked a smile. Anurag was about to clutch her wrist when she wrenched her hand back.

"Anurag I'm really getting late !" she distanced herself. " Why the freak are you destroying our bond for Rishab bhai !" Anurag stressed. " Don't you feel miserable when you see you brother in such a pathetic condition..!" Prerna gulped in pain.

" Prerna its a routine now. Its better if we leave him to recover on his own plus he is just a cousin!" Anurag spilled the beans thus stunning Prerna out of her wits.

" He isn't your biological brother!" she blurted out."No..! Of course not !" Anurag shook his head.

" He is my uncles son .! Ma and papa adopted him since his mom died and my uncle was a vagabond drunkard!" Anurag stated. Prerna didn't knew what to say. She just ran out of his sight. Anurag tried calling her after that but she never reverted the call back.

She ran inside Bajaj Mansion and clasped Rishab in her arms tight. She cupped his face and kissed his forehead moistly followed by his eyes. " You have me okay...! priyu haiii Rishu ke pass !" she blinked her tears. She was determined to take every peril on herself for get him his peace back.

Rishab cupped her face back and mouthed ," priyu acchi hai.. priyu Rishu ko kabhi nhi maartii !" he mouthed pecking her nose tip with a smile in response.

Prerna giggled at his antics and crawled on his lap instinctively without any cringe or awkwardness like its the most just thing she could ever do, with arms around his neck , she touched her forehead with his. " mere Rishu ko chocolate pasand haiii kya...!" she blinked.

As if cuddling her baby.." cheese cake !" he prompted shivering with amalgamation of their breathes. Prerna cared a damn to the way she addressed him. Yes! she was engaged to his brother but she felt an instant connect with the guy in her arms.

She knew this wasn't their future ,but she couldn't help getting close to him the way she wanted.

As moments kept on hobbling , she found herself trimming his nascent stubble , his hand some face lured her thumb to caress him subtly, he smiled as her thumb brushed past his eyelids, and her breath quickened as her lips got pressed on his cheeks. She trailed her kisses down his jawline making him moan , " You are so pure Rishu " she mouthed suckling on his upper lip. The moment froze as she sucked the lips of that bundle of innocence with unbridled passion. Things were wrong but she didn't feel like.

It was a sin in many ways but to her it was a bliss. Prerna nearly missed to register what heaven she kissed as their lips moved in sync. The choreography was so perfect, just like they have kissed each other all their life. The room got filled with light as sun rays bid offered its last flow of illumination for the day. She unclasped her lips from his and looked at his closed eyes dripping with pink. She smiled and hushed in his ear. " Rishu ka first kiss!" He hid himself in her embrace with baby like innocence and tear drops of saturation dripped down her eyes. She forgot to calculate when he passed out in her arms. Sleeping with a happy smile teasing the corner of his lip. She kissed his forehead and vowed to gift him a normal life. She promised herself to give him every happiness he deserved.

This is such an interesting story!! A never before take on Anurag, Prerna and Rishabh. The unsaid bond between Rishabh and Prerna...the mystery behind the stolen necklace...the relationship dynamics between the siblings. So much of intrigue...😊
