TRP ka matter bada hi complicated aur confusing hai for me, sply if I were to believe that TRP will decide the future course of the show.
I am not sure if I am violating rules by sharing my thoughts on TRP here, but its related to connection between TRP and RB's character. I will try my best to revolve this topic around Rishabh and Prerna only.
So, after Bajaj's exit it is very much evident that show is going downhill assuming TRPs as the benchmark for show's reception amongst the audience. I feel good about it when I read that this might force CVs in a way to re-introduce Bajaj's character as I am very much interested in his backstory. We also know that even though entire team is responsible for the success or failure of the show, pr it is only Bajaj's character who was blamed earlier and this still continues.
Ab agar show aise state pe aa jata hai where show gets stuck between 1.5-1.8 BARC TRP as predicted by many in this forum and some other SM platforms as well, how fair will it be to expext from RB's character to work out his magic? And the kind of CVs team this show has, we can't even expect that they will be able to do anything extraordinary story wise (no complaints regarding RB's dialogues here) or take risks without worrying about pleasing entire audience. I mean if same track is repeated where Prerna is still not able to choose a side and sails in two boats, to fir se why hoga. RB will become the easy target, even though its clear that his presence gave better results than his absence (till now).
I am sure huge a group of viewers left the show may be because of RB's exit and lack of a proper story line and it would be difficult to get them back to the show. Lets say RB is back and CVs usko tabhi layenge jab aur kuch work nhi krega, to us case mein how will he even bring back a substancial number of people to show a visible improvement. Coz tab tak jo gaye unko kuch aur mil gaya hoga dekhne ke lie. Aur agar people don't come back then fir se this character will be blamed, called names (not just character, but actor too) and possibly show band hua to wo bhi uso ke upar.
I am so sorry for a such a long post, kuch zyada hi soch lia maine, but I just can't decide if I want hime back or not
