Touchwood, the show continues to delight us!

How awesome is the show now!!! Like the past 4 months didn't even happen. (Although I occasionally do miss the polyester pajamas and the cigars)

Anurag Basu is back to being himself. Such a pleasure watching him interact with his family and with Prerna. Prerna is back to being herself and her sense of style has also improved. No more the over-the-top look with hair up-dos, fake dangling earrings, and red lipstick as Mrs. Prerna Bajaj. She was really unlikeable as Mrs. Bajaj. Cold, emotionless and nasty towards Anurag.

And Sonolikka is a little less in your face than Komo was. The former actor had a more commanding screen presence, but this version of Komo is just the right amount of everything! She is even better because she is just the supporting cast; Anurag and Prerna are the leads and it is finally about them again!.

Fingers crossed, the creative team doesn't disappoint us again!

Yes , the show is now looking like a reboot of the reboot. Finally Anurag Basu is back. I missed this guy in the last track. Prerna too is being herself...she has emotions now thankfully, 😆 Hopefully the makers won't lose their brain midway. So far they have done a decent job in bringing back the show. They should have done this earlier instead of waiting for the show to tank. It is going to be a tough journey now but better late than never.

Episodes are likeable because of better Prerna's makeup and dessing style? Would have loves if CVs were praised more for story.

Anurag-Prerna look strong because Sonalika is not shown as commanding (overpowering) as Komolika played by previous actress? So the only way to show leads as leads is to show others as supporting caste only, because otherwise it is easy to overshadow them and their position as leads is threathened.

Sorry to butt in, but I guess she has praised the story too. Anurag being back, loving his interactions with family and prerna, prerna being herself, komo being right mixture of everything...I guess this is about story only. And prerna's decent look is cherry on the cake.

And about Ur second para, I'll comment for myself, Idk what TM thinks about it. Anurag prerna look strong because they are behaving in their characters. This has nothing to do with any third character. Anurag is being gentle, compassionate, respectful man and prerna is being the way she is, happy go lucky... showing all the emotions, not walking around like a corpse. That's what makes them stronger for most of us I guess. This has been said a thousand times in this forum, once again, we would have loved to watch Anupre being overshadowed by others but not at the expense of butchering their characters but guess, that couldn't happen. Like u correctly said, when one character needs to be weakened to prove the strength of other character, it becomes an issue. Here Anupre and komo are equally strong, Anupre's strength being their goodness and komo's strength being her badness. And hence the story comes out stronger...of course comparatively. About komo, yes, I feel previous one had better screen presence but this one definitely is way stronger. The previous komo was commanding or overpowering must be a joke, isnt it? Cuz for one part of the fandom found her absolutely clownish and the other part of the fandom thought she was too meh to create any fear or insecurity among the fans.

Hey thanks for sharing your views over this. If I may politely disagree with you I would like to say characters behaving in a certain manner doesn't really say much about story. Innmerous stories can be woven around same character traits. I won't comment on Anurag's character because I don't relate with him but Prerna doesn't seem to be acting as a strong person as of now. This is my POV and I'd avoid to get into further details so that conversation doesn't take an unpleasant turn.

Everything I mentioned in second paragraph is completely based on the original post. It gave me an impression that new Komolika/Sonalika is preffered because she is been shown as a supporting caste and that makes leads look like leads. Yout views reflect a different picture; thank you for sharing.

Yes. Finally the show's story is getting handled properly. No character switch everyday, no ping-pong. Hopefully it gets better from here.
