When will Prerna learn? - Page 4

I don't understand what the hullaboo is about? Is it the fact that the Basus are not supporting her today, the fact that mohini had always insulted her and her family, or the fact that despite all of this, prerna still wants to be with them? .

Maybe I have a different idea if what constitutes freedom, empowerment Yada Yada... But the way I see it, when a woman CHOOSES to do something, be with someone, live her life the way she wills it, she is free and she is empowered. And the show that I have watched till today has always had prerna CHOOSING the Basus.. Why? Because of anurag. Irrespective of the fact that mohini doesn't like her. Irrespective of the fact that mohini has never respected her family. Is that right or wrong? I'm no one to comment on it as it's her choice! Prerna chose to come to basu house during the anurag komolika marriage fiasco, claiming to be his wife. And today again, I heard prerna refuse to leave Basu house when mohini ordered or moloy requested. She said even if God asks me to leave, I won't. She stood her ground, she chose. Again her choice! We need to wait for the episode tomorrow but I think after hearing what the doctor says, she has decided to leave for anurag's well being.

I'm not going to address the whole Bajaj chapter in her life and how that's different, coz we may never see eye to eye on it so I'm going to stick to just prerna and her decisions here.

Prerna has always put anurag and her relationship with him above everyone else. Above her family, above herself, maybe even, as some see it above her self respect. Some may say no person or no relationship is worth it. I'd leave that for Prerna to decide. If she thinks anurag is worth it all for her, then that's her choice and I don't see why she has to learn here or what she has to change.

You are seeing it as an AP fan only so you probably don’t find it a problem seeing Prerna time and time again getting insulted in the name of love.

How long do you fight and stay for people who don’t appreciate you? As a female lead, Prerna is no inspiration and I would love to see anyone fight me here. There were so many opportunities where she could’ve said F it all, there’s a limit to how much insults I can take I’m going!

If Anurag and Prerna are that desperate to be together then they would be together. Simple as! She really loves Anurag right? Then she wouldn’t jump to marry someone else so easily. She wouldn’t hide so much from him. If Anurag loves Prerna so much he would’ve done far more than he did in the previous track apart from leaving it on Durga Maa.

It’s always about choice, always will be but WE as viewers have a say on what we feel about the choices these characters make for themselves when these very choices cause them misery only. If she loves these choices so much, why is she crying about them? Our instinct as human beings is to make choices we can stand by and ones which can bring us happiness. Where is Prerna’s happiness or strength in this? I don’t see it.

Prerna is not crying about her choice of being with anurag. She's crying over the fact that she's unable to be with him despite wanting to do that above anything else. If you have any doubts over where prerna's happiness lies, I would suggest you could watch the episodes from last week and see prerna there vis a vie how she was the last 4 months. As for anurag and prerna not doing enough to be together, this is surprising, since the last two tracks were all about prerna not giving up on her relationship with anurag when he was married to komolika and anurag not giving up on prerna when she was married to Bajaj. Short of trying to murder komolika and Bajaj, anurag and prerna have done everything they could. Maybe I'm seeing it as an AP fan but then the fact remains that you are also seeing it as a BP fan which is why everything prerna does in connection with the Basus seems wrong to you. It goes both ways here.

I did watch last weeks episodes and I was also the one who always said that Prerna should be with who she WANTS to be with. Why did Anurag marry Komo remind me? Was it to save Sharma’s property? Who does that? There was no other way out? People like to blame Bajaj and Komo but Anurag and Prerna’s love is full of stupidity, full of idiotic decisions which make no sense which is why I asked if they really want to be together because from where I see it, they try more to stay away and hide things from each other rather than make things work.

Forget Bajaj, Prerna has a child to think about as well. How much do stress do you take on yourself before you realise it’s not good for your baby’s health? Or is that not her priority either?

If Prerna’s choice means she has to be humiliated everytime then what can I say? You might find it romantic, I certainly don’t because this character has not grown since Day 1 & that’s never a a good thing.

Oh, Anurag gets his fair share of humiliation.

It was fascinating how the writers of this show had Bajaj call their male lead a "filthy housefly" and his basic characterisation of a dumb- (look how he decided that the best way to malign Bajaj was to get knocked off by him😆)and passive (Bajaj returned Prerna varna is laloo ke bas main kuch nahin) is enough of an insult.

Having an overbearing mother like Mohini is enough to emasculate the best of men, yeh to phir Anurag hai.

ANYWAY, Prerna is the DUMBEST TWAT ITV has ever seen. And I say this with full respect for EJF otherwise cos I loved Sonakshi. Prerna is even difficult to stand as a woman. Moloy had zero care for his own son's unborn child. And people will excuse this with OH he cares for her but he's got no option or he wants to save her from Komolika. THERE IS A WAY TO DO THAT. Compared to 20+ years of knowing her/insulting her the Bajajs, whatever their problems be, showed her respect. Maasi and Tanvi did it because they KNEW Bajaj WOULD HAVE THEIR HEADS if they didn't. Funny, how Anurag hasn't been able to convince his own MOTHER of the same but then he's never really ADDRESSED her prejudice in a serious manner. Giving her a bholi chit every time. Prerna was at least unguarded with RB's family. She said whatever she wanted to Maasi and Tanvi and by the time they left, she had nothing but love from each party. Khair, I had some issues with Bajaj and Prerna's dynamic.

Well I have always agreed too that anurag and prerna never communicate with each other.. Hiding things, individually taking decisions that affect both of them is stupidity, no matter how noble the intentions. But none of that takes away from the fact that prerna wants to be with anurag, come what may. Since your topic is about prerna not learning her lesson, this had to be pointed out..
