I don’t know if this topic is controversial or will be allowed but this is to address online fandoms who really think they make any impact on TRPs. Let me put it bluntly, you don’t. You know when you say you’ll boycott the show? It doesn’t work.

Think about it. All 3 main stars of this show have been in MEGAHIT shows previously but only online not trp wise. I shouldn’t need to mention those 3 shows because you’ve followed your favourites. None of them were TRP hits but they had huge online fanbases.

When you say your couple brings in ratings, again WRONG. People sitting at home don’t actually care what couple the makers go with as long as it entertains them. The reason Komo is coming back is because they think catfights work better than man v man. I say this with back up not just random statements. It literally is because they want to see FL fighting the vamp (without head or tails), much more than romance.

Trends do not do anything if the show is not rating. You could be trending at No.1 everyday but if the trp audience doesn’t get its entertainment the show is going off.

I know trp fights will always continue but fact is - we do not matter in the bigger picture. We help market it online. Big stars online don’t mean high trps.

You may lock the topic now 🤣

I agree most audience who watch live are probably middle aged to older.....yes there maybe some percentage of even older audience who care about the Jodi but most Don't. In case of kasauti who wants to keep watching same crap over & over again!! So they probably they change the channel and start watching something fresh

Online TRP is high or low it doesnot make a difference at all cause to run a show TV trp has to come.

Problem with the show is that..old generation are not a fool anymore and seeing the track right now..they are like y bother cause it seam basic funda of a serial still is like s1 so who would want to torture themself.

Plus it is fact after certain run from s1 show last 3 year was torture for audiance to bare. Plus online audiance are stubborn aswell and still they dont get what they want..the will not watch in TV.

Eg me..I only watch in TV.. if I feel it's good otherwise I am not in mood to give my Trp.

Basically Ekta went horribly wrong this time. Plus with her do I care attitude rude her. Cause after Swiss track and that dialogue show has massive loss then benefits. Even media people dont give them importance right now.

You are right,BUT I suspect India’s entertainment landscape is changing. I could be a 100% wrong but I believe Few months ago, most channels went to DTH( Direct to home) subscription service so you only pay for what you watch. So Star /Zeehas its own package. Last Quarter they found this actually increased cost and thus subscription dropped AND also you can pay a lower cost and watch online OR watch for free online though there will be a delay ( so for ex: KZK episode posted 12 hrs after air). This could mean online viewership though may not result in subscription $ but could be useful to analyze the full picture of how well the show is actually doing.
