I’ve said this before, Anurag and Prerna’s love comes off shallow because they sacrifice so easily and willingly. You don’t see enough effort from them to try alternate routes.

Bajaj knows how to manipulate. He’s not trying to win Prerna’s love. He’s trying to make her stay with him. Both men haven’t given Prerna the respect an individual should have. Anurag is suffocating to say the least and Bajaj plays behind the scenes.

You are overlooking a point here my dear. Among the 3 principle characters B and P know all the facts but A doesnt know the fact about the marriage. After all his failed attempts to try to find the fact abt the marriage from pre, he has now taken the route of getting her to agree that she still loves him.

Once A realised that P still loves him, he was quick enough to ask the question. Why B?. A yet has to know the foundation of the farce of the marriage and clearly B has the upper hand that he has all info and still playing dirty. If you want to see getting info as coersion then i would like to see your intelligence in naming the deal marriage.

My intelligence naming the deal lol. I’ve always said this, it should ALWAYS be Prerna’s choice as to who she wants to be with. No deal or anything matters above an individual’s choice.

I think there’s just a lot of covering up for the lack of brains used by Anurag in this entire track.

Let’s recap how he slapped Prerna because she said she married for money, he even told her COME BACK TO ME, you wanted MONEY right? I have that all. I’m not sure what kind of love all that comes under?

Unlike Anurag, Bajaj hasn’t painted an innocent picture to the world. I’m not saying Anurag has dark shades like Bajaj, instead I’d just say he’s a complete and utter idiot. Bajaj at least admits he doesn’t want to be a good guy, he isn’t a good guy.

Did you read my first response to the topic? I called Bajaj manipulative :) Now if you’re reading selectively and missing out where I clearly said NEITHER men are giving Prerna the respect an individual deserves - what can I do?

Again, I can accept Bajaj’s wrongs. Even he would admit he’s done wrong but there is a fierce protection for Anurag even when he’s done the stupidest things in the ‘name of love’. At least call out his idiocy in the track.

Maasis dialogue with tanvi was the pivotal scene for me because through that the writers gave us a look into the gist of these 3 principal characters. This is how they view them and this is how they want the audience to understand them.

Anurag and prerna's relationship is based on sacrifice. The foundation of their very bond is that they live for each other, at the expense of themselves. It is this bond which made anurag enter into a deal marriage with komolika in exchange for prerna's family house and the same bond which made prerna enter into an agreement with Bajaj in exchange for anurag's freedom.

Also through this one scene the writers highlighted the difference between the two men. For anurag, prerna is above himself. I have said this before and I'll say it again: nothing and Noone comes above prerna Sharma and her happiness for anurag basu. Those who don't know him may say he's not respecting prerna's happiness today when he keeps on badgering her. I disagree. He is badgering her because he clearly sees she is not happy. The day, if it ever comes, when prerna let's go of anurag competely and moves on, he will also let her go because his happiness lies in hers.

Whereas Bajaj wants prerna for himself irrespective of her happiness. For Bajaj, nothing and noone comes above his own wants and happiness. Maasis dialogue about Bajaj wanting prerna whether she is happy or no is very telling. . It's a clear message to the audience and a clear demarcation line between the characters.

But let’s not forget Prerna’s love. Any comparison exercise involves a contest between who is better, nobler, smarter, more respectful between anurag and Bajaj. But let’s not forget Prerna.

Her sacrifice when marrying Baja was purely for Anurag. It wasn’t for Basu publications, Sharma house or anything else. It was to save Anurag. And she is alone in a way no one has been shown to be alone in this series. Getting the curses and taunts of her own mother and Mohini and accepting then as her due for hurting the person for whom she made the sacrifice.

As you may have missed when you “selectively” read my original post - I have highlighted that there are fundamental flaws in the anurag Prerna relationship.

This post is not about whether Bajaj is manipulative or not. It’s about what love means to each of the three characters - and what love means to Bajaj is something you seem unwilling to address.

This is also not a whose is longer post about anurag and Bajaj with Prerna as the main prize. This is about Prerna as well.

Bajaj calmness is just a pretex 😵 he is holding so many things inside, he is trying hard to hold himself all these years.

Biggest fear is prerna loves anurag and she cant love anyone else and bajaj has habit of winning by hook or crook🙆

Both anurag and prernas life is in danger.

But this bajaj is not anymore ruthless buisinessman, he is that ziddi child who wants everything he eyes😱.

Bajajs past is reason for this pshychoness, he might have taken pledge that he will win over the world one day. So he lives in era of 1980s movies heroes who raises from ground and makes qhoke world bow to him.

But this charcter is big Noooooo 🙉

I think such ideas are better depicted in this Forum than the show ever has. 👍🏼

For Bajaj prerna is nothing more than a feat he wants to achieve. He wants to acquire her and he is being adamant to get her no matter the cost. I dont even think its love, its his egoistic self that will not take no for an answer. I have said this earlier that until anurag rubbed it on him that he holds her heart, Bajaj was never this hell bent to compete for her affections. He wants her coz his archnemesis anurag holds the key to her soul. He wants her coz anurag still gets peace over the fact tht her heart beats for him. So he wants to wipe out that picture so he could gloat and celebrate his ultimate win as thats something tht will finish anurag basu. He wouldn't care if in the process he breaks prerna. Coz his motto is this toy is mine... If to keep it to me i have to break it, so be it. Prerna is his possession, not his love. Because if he understood love, he wud have understood how torn she is right now. All the while when she is alone, crying or upset, its anurag keeping a tab on her, not leaving her alone coz its obvious tht girl is slowly crumbling.

Anurag whereas lives and breathes for prerna. He wont bat an eye if he has to lay his life for her. And above all Anurag and Prerna love each other. Have made mistakes but still their hearts pins for each other. Where prerna is vocal abt his life above hers, he has admitted that she is his life. He can only be happy if she is.

Pari, Bajaj can simply be from those category of ppl tht either he owns the object he fancies of that object be trampled if it goes out of his reach. I am afraid he ll use the same for prerna. Prerna will deny him wht he wants and he may inturn go to strike her.
