The man who gloated and who loved to be hated , called ruthless, machine, heartless, emotionless, business shark, comes to a point where he wants that one person to understand that he is not heartless, he has a heart and it pains him equally when someone calls him evil and that someone is her .. he opens his heart and she walks over it .... the ruthlessness he is facing from someone , who mattered to him, he assimilates it all , ,,, like he usually does by palming his face with both palms , more like taking it all in his stride
He wanted her to trust he is innocent, proving to her, explaining to her became soo imperative to him that he is ready to be in jail or not go home and share the roof with her who considers him "evil"
what she thinks about him matters to him the most, he doesn't want her to think he is evil, he said it the day she questioned him abt the attacker, he explained though she accused .. he said that she is not married to an evil person ....
he is engulfed in a gamut of emotions, with no particular let out , neither can he use his words nor he has anyone to speak to , neither can he pen them down , not has he a friend or someone to confide in ..the only person he finds is his wife, with whom he wants to share every feeling, but then he is restraint, the words are rationed, they are thought out, they are gauged , they are measured, for she will judge him , may not understand him, may just not pay heed ,may not be compassionate or show empathy .. may reject all his claims... but time and again he tries to explain himself despite not wanting to,
what's more painful than an individual with a broken heart is the man whose heart is filled with emotions but no one to talk, the one in solitude and desolate self
he contemplates and comprehends on his words with her, he tries to reason if he was right or wrong in talking to her like that ...he isn't sure why he is not able to be angry or upset with her ... being averse to what she did, he is more worried for her anger, he wishes to be with her in all her troubles and those piercing eyes of hers with nothing but blames and accusations is what he cannot take it hence the strong will to come clean, come out innocent and not to share same room with her who is full of doubts and blames and judges him ..
that little hope ...when the constable tells about a visitor... "Prerna" "woh waapis aagayi" is broken with maasi's entry and not hers... but then she follows.... hope doesn't end .. it's just delayed here ,. she didn't come back at that moment , but she comes back "woh waapis aayi " for reason what may be .. things bind them , even if one wants to move away .. destiny brings them together.. be it as simple as a phone here makes her come back .. symbolically
He was in much need of that hug from maasi, her hug, her tears, her concern and worry, is what he needed now as he needs to know that he is not alone .. someone is there for him , may be not the one he wants ...as of now .
They exchange words in fierce, anger and despair, when Maasi asks Prerna to make him sign the bail papers... knowing his decision and his zidh, she retorts he is not a child , he knows what to do ..and says he is doing right .. he too gets back to her in the same tone ... she said what she has to and i have told her abt my decision, "after all I am not a child" more like a dead lock neither wants to move from their place ..
he placates maasi and convinces her asks her to trust him as he will be fine .. and the most poignant words "mere liye yeh jagah ghar se behthar hain" the man who is caged up in all his emotions finds peace and solace behind the bars.. the home , his home, where she stays is the place he wants to go last , for her piercing glances accusing him will be no less than "cage" for him . freedom from him is not about the court/bail/cops/judge .. freedom for him is when she believes he is innocent, when she trusts his innocence, the moment he finds her trust, no cop/law can put him behind the bars and no one could stop him from walking out .. the converging point of it all is "HER" and "HER trust" I loved maasi and his scene the most, he needs a mother desperately can't they keep maasi positive just for him . he is hurt to see maasi in tears ..
with her harsh provoking words she taunts him that maasi is hurt because of his ego .. she expects a rhetoric but he doesn't she waits, he still doesn't she asks him to continue.. all he says is "aap nahin smajhenge"
he holds her hand, she doesn't pull it out , she stares at his hold, but he doesn't leave her hand and is unapologetic about the touch/hold ,.. he recapitulates again, how people will know him to the extent he lets them know and now one can ever understand him or his attitude or nature.. and how he maintains safe distance from everyone , more like seclusive introvert self.,where in he safeguards his heart and inner self from the world which would exploit it, crush it and walk over it ruthlessly any given day.. like that of a 12 year old's which changed him as a person completely .
he says that he aware of her hatred .. she retorts that she doesn't hate him and she has it only for naveen babu and none else ... a sense of glad spreads .. a feeling of relief is seen when you know you are not hated by the person who matters the most to you .
He wonders why he explains to her all the time when he himself said he wouldn't ever ... he is not sure how to express himself further , gently holds her arms and says he wants her to understand him
as expected it's her PRETENSE to show it to Anurag that's she has moved on , in the process she says words and holds Bajaj's hands that brings fleeting seconds of momentary gladness and relief , only to realize her actual intent when he saw Anurag on the other side...those moments of hope and relief , he sets back and places his hand over hers .. implying he is with her, whenever she needs him ,. while she pats his arm to prove it to Anurag, however in the process both men are aware of her so called "ACT" while one doesn't buy it , the other acts along to support her ....

Karan Karan Karan iss bandhe se kya kahoon .... every nuance of acting, those "killing" expressions which engulf you in the character's despair, the restraint, the body language, the tone, those eyes ... how can he do it every single time .
Never ever I have enjoyed and was never fascinated by someone's act as much as his, in this character . the way he touches his eye in despair damn .. he is impeccable, so natural effortless, and heartwarming with his performance
.. i can forget the rest of the show and just see him "Act' without caring for the character's arc or logic or reasoning
And he looks delectable in every single frame
