This post is amazing but my skepticism is because of Bajaj's character inconsistency, it's super hard to separate the KSG fanatic in me and scrutinise Bajaj as impartially as possible, so I loved Bajaj's scenes, absolutely. Trust me, even if he were to lose and live on the streets, I'd still love Bajaj. Coz KSG will kill that as well. But my apprehensions are because:
1. They have stopped showing Bajaj's takeovers. He was shown doing that with the Gujrals and he was KNOWN for that, but since then, no mention of takeovers apart from Basus.
2. Before the marriage, he was gloating that Prerna was the queen, and he was going to win and Anurag would lose. He was going to have the last laugh, but now, he was ready to forego that for Prerna.
3. If he's in love with her - whatever happened to zaroorat se zyaada ishq and junoon being dangerous? He was also really happy living alone on his own admission.
4. If he's not in love with her, why give up on the revenge now? That's understandable. She's doing a lot for Kuki. But, after she agreed to the marriage, Anurag called him and Bajaj was gloating. Technically, he'd committed to her already, he'd back out of the deal. But then he said game was on.
5. Switch to Switzerland. Initially, he told Nivi he was happy for Anurag that he wasn't there in Zurich for Anurag coz ruining him was his pet project. His pre marriage commitment was long done.
6. The first two encounters, Bajaj was openly gloating, and Anurag's description of Bajaj was perfectly apt, a sociopathic man who believed he was charming and was a successful maniac.
7. After Anurag started "stalking", Bajaj started feeling annoyed. Though, a day prior he'd told Nivi he'd want to see Anurag there.
8. He gave Ronit tickets to go abroad. Did he stop keeping track of Ronit, that forget about knowing he'd tried kidnapping Prerna, he didn't even know he was in Zurich until Prerna told him!
9. Cut back to India, what right time was he waiting for, to tell Prerna about Kuki? That morning, he wasn't going to tell her. Even before he got the call. She anyway followed him and he told her, but what's the Sahi time? Why Sahi time?
10. If Kuki had nightmares at night, and had a habit of running to his room everyday, how did she manage without him when he went to Switzerland?
11. He rushed to her aid when she hurt her finger. Yet, in the flashbacks, when she was shown to nearly fall from the first floor or being run over by a car, he was calmly watching Prerna save her! Maybe, the fact that she was saving her reassured him. But not a second of perturbed expression for a man, who drove rashly for a finger wound? Surprising.
12. And in general, his house doesn't seem like a successful Mogul's ravishing palace. It seems like a lovely and lively house. It's NOT bad. But this is not the Bajaj they introduced.
Before Bajaj fans start bashing me, I am as big a Bajaj and KSG fan as anyone else. 😆 I am tolerating this crap coz it's him playing Bajaj.
TM, my points don't mean your theories won't be true. Even if your theories are true, these above character inconsistencies stay. ^ And because there is already so much not adding up, so much of brainwork by Bajaj seems to have a lesser likelihood in my opinion. If this had been in the first two three weeks of Bajaj's entry, I'd have hands down jumped that THIS IS HIS PLAN. But well. Let's see. 🥳
