Bomb has finally exploded.

The reason for marriage was nothing else but Sneha. I would certainly call it a shallow bomb by all means.

So, Mr. Bajaj who had been keeping an eye on his daughter to make sure she is safe, which rightfully is his right, saw Prerna & Sneha for like 2 times till now, both the times Prerna had saved the child & scolded the nanny, which any sensible woman would do if she had seen a nanny being so careless. I think he saw her only one time while he might have been aware about the other incident as well. And with that one time, he had made up his mind to propose that deal to her, even before she had revealed all her cards.

What surprises me is that why did Bajaj hide this so far under the guise of loyalty, rare possession & what not? It's not a crime to marry a woman for the sake of children. Many people do it in reality. Hiding it from her just made him a shallow person.

I am amused that in 2 encounters, he decided that marrying this woman who happens to be most careless about her own child, for the sake of providing mother to his own child, would be a good idea. So far, Prerna hasn't shown any strong maternal instinct, which Ishita had shown for Ruhi countless times. Prerna hiding about this pregnancy from Anurag is still her fault but would Bajaj consider Prerna's change of heart, she may have in future about her own child knowing about his/her real father?

When did he see Sneha behaving in anyway with Prerna? There were 2 meetings only in which all she did was scold. Sneha hardly had a chance to react or behave with her in any manner.

Now the bigger question- will Bajaj respect Prerna's decision if she refuses to do what he expects of her? Prerna is a woman who is about to have her own child & under no circumstances is she bound to take up this job under the guise of marriage.

Secondly, the bond between Sneha & Prerna is non-existent as of now. They met two times as strangers. I am sure Sneha must have felt the same with a lot of sensitive woman in her past. So, when he says I have brought a mother for my daughter, without mother's knowledge, why does he expect that this would be a good decision? For an experienced man, one thing he should have known is thst life works a little differently from business, especially when it comes to emotional bond. One can always defeat a rival in chess when it is all about logic but when it comes to emotions, game of chess fails miserably.

For a man who boasts of never using woman for business or his personal gains, he stripped a woman of her authority to make such a crucial decision about her life. Bajaj just didn't want Prerna's loyalty, he wanted Prerna's love, attention & time as well for his own child.

That brings me to the final point- how is Bajaj any different from Anurag at this point? Anurag said that he married Komo & betrayed Prerna to save everyone he loved including Prerna. Bajaj said he married her under a deal only for his daughter while conveniently hiding the reason for marriage behind fancy words even when the woman demanded the answer. With that partial deal, he took away Prerna's chance of making a decision in her complete conscience about being a mother to Sneha. While he knew of the baggage that came with marrying her, she was kept in darkness about what accompanied him. To think that a young woman would be fine in being a mother to his child which he thought of revealing at the right time is ridiculous.

None of the men thought it would be a good idea to take the other equally important party into consideration, who will have to deal with the consequences of their one-sided decision 24*7, even when that's not what she had signed up for. It will be convenient to say, Bajaj forged this deal cleverly to engulf Prerna to sign for things she had no idea about, even when she signed it willingly.

When it was about revenge, it was about breaking the enemy & Prerna had a say in that decision of marrying him.

Prerna's stupidity to rush into this decision in all her impulse doesn't excuse Bajaj of what he should have done in this matter even with his morally skewed compass. Motherhood isn't a one time deal. It's a continuous process, a 24*7 job where even the birth mothers can fail.

This one reason makes Bajaj as shallow as Anurag was when he betrayed her for his self-righteous reasons.

Conclusion- Prerna's mistakes to hers & Bajaj's mistakes to him. The post intends to separate Prerna's actions from Bajaj's actions on this one matter. So, avoid making it a war zone.

Reserved. Let me come edit this after I've had my morning tea. 😆

EDITED:

For the first time in a long time I actually liked the second half of the episode and understood where the characters are coming from. Here's the fascinating part about the three.

Both Anurag and Prerna's tragic flaw is their selflessness. They both become so selfless in their love and duty they destroy themselves and those around them for what they think is right in the moment. Anurag did it first, without caring about how his actions will destroy his own life and Prerna's. He did his duty. Prerna did it second, again no communication, no thought for herself or the people around her. For love.

In complete contrast is Rishab Bajaj. Bajaj's vice is his complete selfishness. Anurag and Prerna would destroy themselves for the people they love. And Bajaj will destroy others for the people he loves. Anurag and Prerna do it without thinking of the consequences. And Bajaj does the same. He's callous and meticulous and doesn't care if his decision will leave long-term effects, as long as it serves his purpose. And his purpose here included desperation.

While the CVs utterly botched up the development between Sneha and Prerna, I get the gist. For Bajaj, his daughter has probably for the first time shown an inkling of response, excitement and attachment to someone. For him, it's the first time his daughter has been comfortable and happy with someone. And he'd do absolutely anything to give his daughter whatever it takes to bring her out of her shell, to see her react more like that. And for whatever reason, his daughter, in his own words, reacts toward Prerna in a way she doesn't for anyone else. And that sealed it.

Why did he not tell Prerna? I think I can understand this. He had set an acid test for her. How do you really really know what someone's character is? I think by using that opportunity and handling her an ultimatum he was testing her. If she'd rejected his offer, he wouldn't have approached her another way. Because accepting it meant her loyalty to Anurag and her love was the ultimate definition of selflessness. Pure. Something Bajaj has hardly seen in his forty years of lifetime. And that is a rare quality indeed. He had studied her, but again, he couldn't have outright told her the truth because he was extremely protective of his daughter. And Prerna was in a relationship with someone he considers an enemy.

He jumped into marrying her because he didn't have an option. There was a deadline. Prerna would've married Anurag within the week, which meant he only had a week to take an action. A week wasn't enough to truly, perfectly nail down her character. So he took her to Swiss post marriage. I think the point was to stay in her vicinity and judge her closely. Before that, they'd never been together. He'd had a solid estimate about her and her character. And all his estimations were right and the whole swiss track proved she was what he thought she'd be and she was no source of trouble to his daughter. I think he needed that surity before revealing about Sneha. And he got it.

I don't think his ultimate concern was what kind of motherly traits she possessed. It was the fact that she somehow was the only person who could make his daughter happy and she had the qualities for loyalty so he didn't have to worry about her character.

Now obviously, understanding his cause doesn't blunt the impact of what he's done. He pulled her out of the life she'd planned for herself for his selfish reasons and he deserves comeuppance for that. Prerna will probably go through an intense turmoil once she grows to love the kid as dearly as she would her own child and I for once can understand the different contradictory paths the characters are taking. The moral and emotional complications can make up for a great story. But then it's kzk. Not much to expect here.

i feel Ekta mam has decided to keep the basic plot similar to the previous one. Bajaj married prerna for kids and the case is same here. If i am not wrong, prerna had never met the kids before bajaj introduced them to her in season 1. It was prerna's qualities ....her willingness to sacrifice everything for people she loved....for keeping her words ....the way her interactions were with bajaj.....that he assumed that a heart like that would not refuse to give love to his blind daughter and he blindly trusted her that she is gonna be loyal to him after marriage. He wont really force her to be with a kid....he is just telling what he wants. Prerna will accept the girl herself and the girl will actually ease her stay at bajaj house.

Prerna was already a mother in last season & Bajaj knew it. Here she isn't.

The deal in that season was sacrifice by all means. Here it's not completely a sacrifice considering the situation in which deal was put forward. It was 50-50 here between coercion & sacrifice.

One more thing.....its not really a normal marriage that it really mattered that bajaj told her or not. Prerna was anyway gonna marry bajaj even if he had a batalion of kids because she hasnt married him for love.......she has married him for anurag happiness. She sold her life to make anurag life stable......she dint had any rights to know because she was not in the position.....she wanted to free anurag badly and rishab wanted to marry her.....she choosed to come into this. She was not in a state to take a decision like that oh i will have to mother his kids, so i wont marry him. This news might have shocked her but its not betrayal or something......bajaj having kids or not dint actually mattered in their deal.

Well..storywise ..its ok ..I anticipated it n it turned out to be true . Anurag bajaj and everyone else is shallow and their brains work in shifts..thats not a surprise..I never had high expectations from Mr bajaj bec here none of the characters r written well. Pre will surely fall for his soft side..with time .

Mr bajaj should have revealed the reason to pre when she came in for the deal ..when pre tolf him.about her unborn child . That was the right time . N pre being pre wouldnt have refused. She did have accepted th3 deal with all conditions.

Here she is pregnant and again bajaj knows it. okay i have a different openion regarding the deal.....here also i feel the deal is sacrifice only....even bajaj making the deal called it sacrifice only. I dont find it as coercion. I dint felt that bajaj forced her into anything......he proposed a deal which stated that she has to sacrifice her life for anurag and she did that. He knew that prerna loves anurag that much that she will do it for him.

Ekta’s writers thought and thought for a month. but their creative genius could only borrow the reason from season 1.

I feel anu will enter bajaj mansion as tanvi’s husband?

Maybe tanvi and anu will join hands to separate bajaj and ore.

Hiding the real motivations in a deal is a forgery, which Bajaj did here even when Prerna asked him 3 times before marriage on why he wanted to marry her & all he said was loyalty & rare possession.

She couldn't take a decision about motherhood because she was not informed of what he actually expected of her with the loyalty part, even when she had clearly asked him about this. All he said was, you have to leave Anurag & marry me for loyalty when he actually wanted her to be a mother to the child he didn't bother reveal.

As I said, Prerna's stupidity can't be used to give a pass to what wrong Bajaj did here.

In a deal that involves marriage, Prerna had all the right to know what baggage he brought with him just like she told him that she came with a child & love for Anurag (even though it was meant as a means of escape to her).

It is a normal marriage by all means in the eyes of law, no matter in what circumstance it happened.

But it's a forgery on Bajaj's part for sure.

From loyalty, rare possession to I want you to be a mother to a child you didn't even know, all because I saw you randomly saving my child 2 times & with that I concluded that there exists a great bond of notherhood, which clearly doesn't.
