They are hell bent on ruining every character.

It's no use to make Bajaj the savior if they don't show the parallel scene where Bajaj regrets or even acknowledges that he let Ronit go & it was a blunder on his part. Action & reaction- that's how things should be, which actually fit to provide a holistic picture instead of such distorted image.

It's not precaution when you let the criminal out yourself & then warn the victim that she must be careful & I will deal with him now. That's stupid of you & there is nothing smart in it.

You don't give second chances to the enemies only for them to bite you back, no matter what. Ronit is the enemy here even when Bajaj used him one time for his benefit. He is enemy of Prerna who now happens to be his wife.

Techinally, Bajaj is responsible for Ronit being after Prerna right now & the danger that lingers for future.

But i liked that side of him... He got prerna becz of ronit's plan.. So he did deserve chance. Now baju wont leave him becz its ronit who crossed limit this time. You can call it miatake like ratan singh and padmavati did.. chetan ko punish karte kyu choda jab wo khud kah raha tha i will destroy everything.. But king and queen believed in their strength and power.. So baju did same.. 😆 arshi.. I m very bad in explaining things.. I hope this reference makes sense..

The analogy doesn't hold. Chetan was left alive because of Ratan's morals since he was his Rajguru for a long time & it was against his dharma to kill him & Chetan betrayed Ratan for the first time, something Ratan never thought he could do. It was like a sibling betraying you & you let them go first time because you don't think they can cross some limits. The next chance Padmavati got, she asked for his head.

Ronit on the contrary has a criminal history Bajaj knows or should be awarw of while making a deal with him. Bajaj had a history of not giving his potential enemies a chance to rise back against him, that's the extent to which he destroyed them. It's not like he didn't think Ronit would do something like that again. He himself admits that Ronit will strike back next day. It's not about believing in your own strength but undermining what enemy can do & undermining often doesn't yield fruitful results. Bajaj plays chess & one thing about chess is that you don't give chance to your rivals & think they won't attack back viciously. You do it only when you have bigger move planned against a newbie & not an experienced hothead.

Bajaj is called a business shark for a reason. Sharks don't give second chances to their enemies.

@bold

When he almost spoiled Bajaj's plans & put his wife in danger. I don't think Bajaj waited for Prerna to be kidnapped again.

Let me play the devil's advocate here. Not that there's much point.😆 When Bajaj used Ronit, he didn't much care for Prerna's plights. She was and currently is an acquisition. Ronit on the other hand was Komolika's brother. And in RB's own words, a brother was avenging his sister. So RB, who anyway hates the Basus, sees no wrong in what Ronit was doing. Or to rephrase it, didn't really care about Ronit a whole a lot. In RB's eyes, Ronit's enemy was Anurag. Not Prerna. And Ronit wanting to destroy the Basus for his sister's death made perfect sense.

RB has his own twisted moral compass. He doesn't really care a whole a lot about black and white. So for him it was simple quid pro quo. He used Ronit and in return he gave Ronit an out. Makes sense. He wasn't against Ronit. Ronit was a minor nuisance, and someone who could've later been further used against the Basus because he's such a destructive, loose canon. I don't think Bajaj wanted to lose neutral grounds with him. So the fair chance.

Obviously, him warning Prerna must have come as an addendum. Just in case you see him around you, let me know. I'll deal with him. Again, I doubt Bajaj wanted to lose neutral grounds here. Why should he take out Basus' enemies? And they weren't on equal grounds either for Bajaj to keep him in the loop. In his own words, Ronit was a pawn.

But the mistake here is the fact that he didn't keep a check on Ronit. He let him go and considered that the end of it all. That's where all of this falls flat. He should've known Ronit's footprints better than Ronit himself. For someone who boasts of knowing, reading, and outplaying people, this was a colossal mistake on his part. A mistake that severely undermines his character. But the discrepancies have been wide and in-your-face since the Swiss track started. Convenient writing nothing else.

Definitely an inconsistency on their part. They are keeping all ends open, if Bajaj clicks then Ronit was wrong, if Bajaj has to go then Bajaj was involved with Ronit

For Bajaj who has a history of digging into past of people he deals with, it's a surprise he didn't know Prerna-Anurag were kidnapped not so long ago by Ronit or that how Prerna stormed into Basu Badi for her rights while Anu was married to Komo or the fact that Ronit chapter began with Prerna only because of Shivi. So, for him to not think a step ahead on how Prerna is also a key to destroy Anurag & see the larger puzzle where Prerna fits in royally, it kinds of looks really bad on his part.

These inconsistencies will ruin him as a character & the fall will be huge, just like how Tyrion got ruined in last 2 seasons from the smart man he was before.

Big dialogues won't do anything if actions don't support them. They keep on skipping things that will give insight into this man & that is messing it up.
