This view people tend to have about the empowerment and feminism is too parochial for me - isn’t it contradictory when same women and the society considers such women identity-less, who live their lives in the shadows of their hubbies and live for their kids and the dreams connected to them. Maybe, for everyone it’s different but honestly empowerment is - letting women choose for themselves, whatever it is - be it a career oriented route or otherwise, let them choose what makes them happy!
