I think Prerna's silence will be her biggest enemy here. Prerna reveals her emotions to Bajaj whether of disgust, hatred, hurt, pain without masking it. But to her family, she doesn't & that creates a false image.

I think everyone should be given some time to overcome this rudest shock.

Your daughter says I am going to parlour but instead ends up marrying someone else while you are waiting for her in the society & then you are at the receiving end of everyone's wrath because she didn't make you part of such big decision for her own skewed reason. Even Veena went berserk when Prerna was cheated by Anu. Moloy wasn't happy with what Anu did even when he knew Komo to some extent. Society will thrash Shivi & Veena repeatedly for what Pre did at this point while Prerna still refuses to reveal the truth. Even then Prerna should have asked for guidance on how to deal with Bajaj's menace instead of taking such rash decision & make everyone suffer. Everyone will say that she should have told them & they would have done something to rescue her from this situation & that's what families are for. When confronted with indecent proposal, you seek guidance, instead of going this absurd sacrificial way which is not guaranteed to produce promised results.

Prerna didn't think as a daughter on what would be consequences of her actions on her family. All she thought was about Anurag.
