I will still judge the relationship between Prerna and Bajaj with a critical eye still because I still feel some type of way about the age gap. But, if the relationship was healthy and Bajaj was not taking advantage of Prerna then yeah im all for it. But that's not what's happening. I honestly don't even care about the age. It's how the relationship is being formed, the very foundation of it is murky at best. I would never start a relationship like that with a guy and expect to live a happy live with the said guy.
Whether you say it's for real or not people still feel emotionally connected to the show. As a woman, I think Prerna being reduced to a simple love interest and her identity only being tied to ANurag or her family makes me feel sad. As a woman, although Komolika was shown to be smart and intelligent, she was still reduced to her identity being tied with Anurag or having other men oogling at her makes me sad. As a person who doesn't have a lot of money, seeing Mohini and Nivedita (until very recently) constantly berate poor people and look at them less than human makes me sad. I don't watch shows to be completely disconnected from reality. Yeah it's for entertainment purpose but portraying women in such one dimensional way makes me wish things were different.
About bajaj and prerna , lets wait till it happens . Thats the reason i avoided the thread. We r only assuming based on s1. I know the way its being formed is not good , nor is taking advantage of someones bad situation . Whatever happened in the past in kzk2.is even.more pathetic than what may happen now......anurag with his two wives and both doing their own thing , trying to outsmart each other..
N lets not go to portrayal of a woman on tv. This is not the platform where you will find real women and their stories. Watch the web series on alt balaji ...i can only tell abt them coz i have seen very few....i suggested the same today in the edt thread..they r of our types n wr wud love them . I said "we" bec i know you from silsila badalte rishton ka forum..watch broken and baarish , kehno ko humsafar hai and dil.hi toh hai...we can discuss abt it on pms' if u wNt..there u will see the difference....i totally have no idea why this female doesnt bring content like that on tv ...may be bec web series r 15-20 epis and shows like kasauti have to run for years....
Kzk2 specifically degrades women to an unimaginable level . Not just mohini nivi komo etc but sheer lack of intelligence in the female.lead is only seen here..female leads of kkb , kd and even nagin types r quite capable of creating problems and coming out of them . Here i just see two fools who keep reacting to everything around them yet they think they r passing the kasautis ..and keep promising to each other that they can face mt everest size problems also but unable to cross a footpath alone , when they are actually in some big problem...both r actually incapable of thinking anything beyond their stupid incomplete love story..rest everything , they just chance upon it or a third or fourth person does it for them... So if ur looking for logic , sense, morality etc here in kzk2 , its a wrong place . Rd was correct
I didnt mention anurag much bec normally in ektas serials men r given a rough deal..woh toh hote hi gadhe hain...she likes older men though..may be...like.balh and kzk she made them heros..
