Absolutely..

Dev/Ishawari’s relationship cannot be compare to Anurag/Mohini’s one.. Exactly the same way as Anurag and Dev cannot be compare..

This track will not be handle with the delicacy and logically as it was handled in kuch rang.. as its an EK show.. the most, Pre will just ask Mo to get Veena out else she will expose her.. End of matter..

True, and dev Ishwari had a convincing back story, even though they stretched it a lot of times, dev had a reason for being a maa bhakt and plus dev was always shown as a bhola when it comes to human interactions, Anurag is smart, he is not dumb, but somehow when it comes to mohini, he becomes dumb. So convenient.

Nailah, I had a lot of problems with krpkab, especially after the leap, when they made sona such an Ishwari bhakt, but now I feel krpkab was a gem compared to ITV standards and eri was fab there..

Same here... I dont even hate Dev anymore... his redemption was written perfectly... There was no whitewashing.. With Dev or Ishwari..

here we have less chances of any redemptions.. Be it Anurag or Mohini.. Everything will just be brushed off under the carpet..

Now if Pre marries Bajaj, ppl will concentrate more on bashing her and this will make AB and MB all clean and pure!

Wait and watch.. Ppl just need an excuse to bash Pre anyway esp Anu’s bakht..

Oh, yeah, poor dude suffered for his stupidity, it was not a crime, he was oblivious to his mom's insecurity.

But yes, he had a good redemption, the makers showed him repent for the pain that sona had to go through.

As a character, dev was very well written, had nuances, and layers too.

I think Ishwari redemption was one of the most rare sequences in ITV. Krpkab had a beautiful story diving deep into relationships and complexities. All the facets of relations were explored beautifully, including the Ish Sona angle.

Here it's all superficial.

I agree it wasn't perfect but certainly the best show addressing this situation

Sometimes I felt deep down Dev knew about it but failed to recognize and address it, courtesy the Bhagwaan status he'd given her. But it all came out very well. Here the CVs won't even attempt to go close to that and even if they do, it won't work out that way 😆

UKG, I love your posts because I always get enlightened on either season 1 of KZK or different shows😆

I am so glad that they brought Nivi back to what she does best. With her business experience and now her ability to be gently with people, she has the potential to take BP to great levels. Her conversation with Mr. Rahil was one of my favourite part of the episode.

As for Veena ma, RS &IFM have pretty much summed up why I have issues with her. She has always supported her kids and encouraged them to fight against the odds but now she is asking them to give up when everyone but Mohini is on Prerna's side.

This is intended to say that it is often not the heavy load that breaks a camel but after years of carrying a heavy load, a hair can break it.

Very often I have observed in real life that people are willing to give chance after chance and then suddenly they break.

Veena was initially against the anurag-prerna relationship but the two of them convinced her. Once she gave her support, veena supported prerna when she went to Basu house to fight for her rights. Knowing that her broken daughter would either win or get closure out of it. She made her displeasure towards anurag clear during holi etc. But the lack of respect shown towards the Sharmas even after prerna realised the Basus from komo is probably what has been the hair that broke her back and made her ask prerna to leave the marriage. Should she have intervened before and told prerna after prerna was put in jail to leave and come back home? Yes! She should have. But she didn’t maybe because when you are in a moment you lose perspective on how bad things have gotten. That doesn’t preclude her realising omg Mohini is never ever going to change. It doesn’t matter what my daughter does or we do or how much her Ian loves prerna, things will never change!

I don’t know where this story is going and whether I will find veena unreasonable soon. But today, right now, I don’t.

Nice post UKG.

@bold The Makers had actually showed Veena's concern when Prerna was arrested. I went back and watched those scenes again. It was split in various episodes.

When Prerna was in Jail, Veena had told Prerna "Yeh sab hamari galati hai. Hume tumhe Basu Badi mein bhejna hi nahin chahiye tha. Ek maa ka kaleja phatta hai jab uski aulad salakhon ke peche hoti hai aur woh bhi jab usse dhoke se andar daala gaya ho" - This was in episode 149 (April 16th)

After Prerna comes out of jail she goes to BB without informing Sharmas.

After Sharmas come back from court, there is a dialogue in episode 152 (23rd April) where Veena tells Shekhar "Chale kya Basu Badi Priyu ko vapas le aate hai" Shivani tells "Pehle di se baat kar lete hai" and they call Priyu.

Later when Prerna calls Veena in episode 153, Veena scolds her "Tu jail se kaise chooti? Aur tu phir se Basu Badi kyon gayi? Tujhe ghar aana chahiye tha na"? Prerna refuses to come telling that she won't let Komo win in these ugly games.

So yes Veena did not want Prerna to go back to BB after coming back from jail.

But now I think like u said this situation broke camel back.

Veena is able to clearly see through Mohini ki woh kitna gir sakti hai. Mohini told her privately that Prerna is later going to steal things and send it to u guys. This saamne se achi piche se buri Mohini is more dangerous than her previous version. So I don't think Veena is wrong as such.

Its just that the dialogue writers can write better dialogues. Since Anurag & Prerna are already married, Veena should not tell her Shaadi mat karna. Shaadi toh ho chuki hai. Anyways lets see how the Veena-Prerna conversation turns out in the episode.

I said this during kuch rang also and saying it now also. Mammas boys should be barred from falling in love and getting married . Like dev like anurag . When push comes to shove he chickens out everytime, leaving prerna to deal with every problem alone ..and will he be there for her everytime something goes wrong ? Like will he take sanyas from the office to stop this family politics happening in his house ? This time also its him who should have taken a stand for his in laws ,his to be or already or may be, wife, prerna..but we have already seen prerna "exposing" mohini..so what will it be ? Blackmail her with the cd to bail out veena ? Seriously ! Show the cd to the goddam son.
