What I find offensive is how people take individual actions of prerna and make blanket statements but still manage to find it jn themselevs to find excuses for Anurag.

Whatever prerna does there will always be one section of the audience ready to stone the girl. Hence my question, why is it always prerna’s fault?

For once can we agree that she on her own saved the basus. She is behaving appropriately by not demanding an apology or thanks in the middle of tapirs engagement as she did it for her kaka Babu andtbe man she still foolishly loves. If someone is at fault here it is anurag and the basus who have not apologised or thanked her.

Anurag is fine? He is hesitating? He didn’t hesitate when he insulted her in public. Or told her he love Komolika. Or told her the daaga means nothing. Why does he not hesitate when it comes to prerna? Whether it is expressing love or askingfoe forgiveness?

👏 Because she's expected to be bound by everyone's rules and everyone's definition of being good and smart, strong and sensitive, brave and respectful, rebel and within limits, perfect and real.. So many dos and donts with constraints.. 😉

These are the same constraints society places on us as women in our daily lives versus our male contemporaries.

The same constraints placed on Erica versus Parth by fans.

The same constraints placed on Prerns versus anurag in the serial.

I am not saying prerna is written perfectly. But neither is anurag. And I am sick of hearing this bashing of prerna in the name of wanting a strong female lead while justifying anurag. Hence my rant even at the risk of being bashed.

It's only because Pre is doing it all in favor of Basus that her revenge game is forgotten or forgiven for now.. The moment she gives some heavy dialogues to the Basus or Anu the blame game will start easily.. So CVs playing safe.. 😉
