Anurag peeped in the study ,
steeling glances of prerna sitting inside.

Prerna spinned the pen through her little fingers ,as she looked deep into
infinity , thinking. Her bun , was holded into a beautiful mess , by her ever
favourite dangling bun holder. She immediately bent down to take out some files
, only to bang her head on the table . "Ouch!! she cried as anurag panicked
for a millisecond , standing outside the window.

Prerna rubbed her palm against her forehead , before yawning like a cat. She
opened up a file and started marking things.


Anurag shook his head , as a smile adored his face. He grinned , to himself and
lazily walked to his room. Watching prerna everyday , or better say steal her
glances has become his routine. Rarely she goes to the office, to submit some
reports . Every now and then he tries to match the time they would leave for
college , so that he could offer her a lift.

"That is what friends are for! he
mumbled to himself . little did he know that the latter was not true. He could remember what hairstyle she did 5
days ago. He had a tab on all her fancy bracelets she would wear , only when
she is happy. He could smell her scent :oceanic. He could hear her , when
nobody could. He could see her eyes talking .

"Anu... mishka stretched on his name , a little longer , getting a little bit
too cozy with him. She started touching his shirt buttons , and kept her face
across his chest. Anurag huffed , as he released his breathe in the
uncomfortable position. He gently pulled her hands back , hiding his
irritation. "Mishka , we can talk , without doing all this.. he stood up
immediately as mishka was annoyed.

"Anu !its seven in the evening! she tried being sedative , but anurag was in
no mood to tolerate it.suddenly he remembered something . "prerna! he
announced as mishka looked annoyed.

"Prerna!! That serveant , why are you always behind her , leave her no... she
continued , but anurag already felt a rush of blood in his veins.


"servant? Who told you that? anurag , asked , annoyed. His brows knitten in a
bow . "anurag ! why are getting so angry.. mishka tried, but was stopped by
anurag " listen prerna , is not a servant , she has been given the job ,
because of her ability. She has a contract with basu enterprises and she is
doing her job perfectly. Don't dare to call her
that again! he stompped out , leaving a burning mishka behind.


"I need to leave prerna to the office, Baba had told me to reach along her by
7 he mumbled to himself as prerna stood rooted to her place , at a minor
distance from his room. She wiped a tear , glistening her eyes , as a beautiful
smile adored her face. She could never
forgot , what he said in her defence that day. Those words were a music to her
tears.

"So Ms. Sharma ! ready? anurag asked as he tied up the sleeves of his shirt ,
his curved lips , still evident to prerna.

She nodded in a yes, and anurag didn't need to look , but take her answer .
"Lets go ! he said , and immediately took her palm , in his own , and almost
guided her through the way. She could feel the bliss , as she noticed the fine
lines of there hands connecting with each other . they matched in a different
way.

"we have come I guess!! he announced , as they entered basu enterprise.

Prerna nodded , but this time her loose bun , gave in , as the bunholder ,
slipped down , unknown to her.

"Thank you anurag! she said, before anurag could give her a
never-say-thank-you-to-a-friend look , she continued "For whatever you said ,
to mishka , about me...

anurag was shocked , as his eyes melted seeing her smile. She walked out , as
he saw her bun holder , and immediately grabbed it .

He observed it keenly , before mumbling "You are special PRERNA , Very special!
he smiled wide , before he saw prerna , gesturing him to join her , as they
walked together.
