Breach of promise to marry someone after establishing a relationship that is sexual in nature does not simply, in itself, constitute the offence of rape with the purview of the Indian Criminal Laws.

It depends on the court's discretion after reviewing the particular case in question because of a lack on guidelines in this particular situation.

If every breach of promise of marriage in a sexual relationship between two individuals is to be constituted as rape, then they probably will have to make premarital sex illegal.

Even I was thinking same 😆 courts are acquitting n bailing men frequently in these cases being a lawyer I know this! Court cites girl is major and can think her bhala bura by herself!

Ronit should get bail if CVs are hell bent on showing logical things 😛
